No worries, will have another scout around and get back to you.

Re: The Race to reach 90 - Edition #3
Jack Grealish, Notts County on loan from Aston Villa please, don't think he has been chosen.

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
Thought the defence looked much more capable with Vlaar back, his importance to us is clear to see. Thought Lowton also did well when Vlaar went off.
Benteke played decently, although clearly off the pace having missed so many games. Hopefully get another 90 minutes out of him in the cup at the weekend.
A clear improvement all over the pitch from the Swansea game. If we could just get going at home, we could perhaps be looking up the table rather than down it!

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
Quick ask.Do any of you lot want Lambert sacked' date=' theres loads of disgruntled fans about.
I dont, I dont know what the hell they expect!!
Performances as of late havent been good, infact they have been poor but jesus christ.[/quote']
We knew it was a long term plan when Lambert took the role on, to throw that away after 18 months would be pointless.
We certainly need a playmaking midfielder in the transfer window and Vlaar has to return as soon as possible, the difference he makes to the defence is there for all to see.

Re: Liga BBVA Ratings Predictions thread
RODRÍGUEZ' date='[b'] José[/b]should i keep him? has a bright future ahead of him?
i saw he plays for the Spain U21 NT but he doesnt get play time at Real
and i dont think he will rise
Came on as a substitute versus Valencia and scored what proved to be the winner. It was his second goal of the season.
Might not rise this time around, as he only has just over two hours playing time, having come on in nine matches.
Keep.

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions
I honestly think these 3 CBs are basically at the same level.Imo Dante should be 91' date=' but he plays for the best team in the World and that may be the reason for his 92.
[/quote']
And now he is 93!

Re: Serie A Rating Predictions
I can get Kevin Strootman' date=' or Ilkay Gundogan. I know both are world class players, but which do you think will rise this december/january?Thanks![/quote']
Agree with the two previous posters, Gundogan for me also. Should make the German WC squad and Dortmund will hopefully make the latter stages of the Champions League.

Superb result' date=' with all three goals expertly taken.
Imagine what we could do with more than 23% possession!
Hoping Vlaars' injury isn't too bad, he has been a rock all season.[/color']

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
Reckon he'll be vying for a first team place or reserves?I now recall that his injury was to his back.
He certainly has the potential to get in the side and with Lambert willing to back youth' date=' he may be given a run in the side in the second half of the season.[/color']

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
What has happened to Gary Gardner?Just resumed training after his injury I believe.
I forget what his injury was though.

Ticket purchased this morning for Craven Cottage next month, cannot wait.

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
Looks like we've got five at the back today. Probably won't be a game for the puristsIt was probably meant to be a back three' date=' but the way City battered us in the first half, I'll grant you it looked more like a back five.
Different story in the second half when we took the game by the scruff of the neck, the midfield three were immense.
Heading to Hull next week, certainly looking forward to that now, as yesterdays victory should instill a huge amount of confidence in the team.

Hoping for a speedy recovery, Okore has a huge future in my opinion.

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
I think we may have to adjust our tactics for home games, as y/day the 4-3-3 clearly never worked. Luna was getting no help with Ben Arfa, which proved to be our downfall.
4-4-1-1, may be better suited at home, where teams can hit us on the break, as that would provide a bit of cover defensively, while Agbonlahor or Weimann, could spring from the hole behind Benteke.
Hoping the injury to Okore isn't too serious, as he looks quite solid in defence, although I would still like to see that first clean sheet in the league for a while.

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
Add in my 2p worth, I had liked the look of Bacuna in the pre-season friendlies, but he may be a victim of his versatility. I had selected him in a few of my fantasy teams, but he has been changed for Tonev, as he has been getting rave reviews from Lambert and a few of the players.

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
So I went to Luton/cesspit to watch one of the worst games of football I've ever seen and us lose 2-0 to a non league team. And currently we're 4-1 up on Crewe. Brilliant
Great turnout there though. Over 1700 Villains there! Good to see Tekkers amongst the goals too. Hat trick so far. Weimann with the other
Watched on AVTV' date=' Bacuna looks particularly useful in midfield or at right back. Great strike for his goal.[/color']

Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread
Who have they picked up?Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang. Anyone else i missed?
2 good signings but i feel they would need another..
p.s Oh didnt they sign a greek defender?
They did indeed' date=' Sokratis Papaststhopoulos, 25 year old Greek international.[/font']

Re: Official Aston Villa Thread ! * no spoilers *
Lambert is quietly going about his business and picking up decent young talent.
Next season should see us certainly looking upwards rather than downwards.

+2 to day for Clasie and Maher, decent.

Re: Serie A Rating Predictions 2012/13
And still the wait goes on.......

Re: Isco or Oscar
I would plump for Isco also, playing in arguably the better league, he is the first name down on the teamsheet for Malaga and also gives the greater goal threat.
Although ideally you would get both, as they are certainly destined for 90+.

As has been said, great goal and then backs to the wall for the second half. Defenders and Guzan coped admirably with what Palace threw at them. Okore is very, very decent.
