    King Midas got a reaction from Manuster - Emmanuel Alagba in Chairman Investments
    This paragraph is taken from the help section of SM. Talk about contradicting what the cash injections are actually meant for! The only clubs benefiting from these injections are the bigger clubs reinforcing financial inequality in the league making it less competitive and enjoyable as a result.

    "Your Chairman will always invest cash to ensure that your clubs 'net worth' (cash player values) is never less than 50% of the average club in your league. This ensures smaller clubs 'net worth' will not be too far behind the bigger clubs in your league. If you don't receive an investment from your Chairman then this is due to your clubs ‘net worth’ being greater than 50% of the average club in your league".

    I've sent a message to the FB page and also reported it as a bug with a link to this forum post to try and get them to resolve the issue. Very disappointed!

    99 is the max. I'd keep him as he's Messi but if you can get some 94+ players with the cash then you could go ahead and sell.

    Messi for part-exchange than cash though imo.
    If you need a starter then it's Morata but if not I'd go for the duo.

    That does make sense, thanks a lot for your inputs! Makes it much easier to manage on who's gunna be cheap to pick up. Thanks again lads, and enjoy the Euro's game!

    I think there seems to be two reasons for why players become F/A. The first is players out of contract with external clubs becoming free agents, if their teams are managed then they become free agents like in our league with Lucas Leiva because Liverpool are managed.

    Then secondly if the players move clubs in real life. So if players from external teams move clubs, they could become external if the clubs in your league are unmanaged. In this case Zieler would become unmanaged, but Viktor Fischer who has moved to Middlesbrough wouldn't because I'm in control of Middlesbrough in our league meaning he stays at Ajax.

    To that theory it would explain why Feghouli has become a free agent and Karius hasn't?

    I think it is to do with the teams which are managed in the gameworld. I've noticed all the players available as free agents in our league all come from the teams which are managed by human managers, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, United, City. Interesting Ron Robert Zieler wasn't a free agent before, but now a new manager has took Leicester City, Zieler is now available as a free agent.

    Hopefully this might help a bit, I'm trying to watch the Euros at the same time and I'm dreadful at multi-tasking!!

    I'd absolutely keep Alonso (boss of Bayern midfield) and look elsewhere for a striker.
    Also Rooney is performing poorly so he should drop.

    It depends on how much he played before he developed his level one concern.

    For example, say Oblak believes he should play 75% of the time.  If you only played him in 10 out of 20 games then, because he has only played 50% of the time instead of the 75% he wants, he will develop a level one concern.

    You then decide to play him in every match.  However, 17 games later, when the concerns are next calculated, despite playing every game since, he still has not achieved 75% (10 + 17 / 37 x 100 = 73%).  So he develops a level 2 concern.

    If you do the maths on Oblak I am pretty sure you will find something similar.  If you are lucky and keep playing him then eventually he may hit the 75% (or whatever it is) and start to clear his concerns.

    Ooh that's an interesting one.. I'd go for Busquests if I had to pick one of the two, honestly think he should rise.. very important player for Barca. However, Alli is definitely going to rise, the lad has been outstanding this season, we all knew he had a lot of potential and he's fulfilling it so far, whether he continues to do that beyond this season.. only time. Though I believe he will, supreme talent. And what more needs to be said about Koke I think it's a fair deal on both ends mate, all depends on what your squad needs. I'd keep Koke and Alli if it was me.

    Alli, Weigl (very close behind), Rabiot

    I don't think so.

    I'd go for Oblak, what a keeper he is. +1 at the least me thinks.

    The two players and cash, without a doubt, for me.

    Yes, definitely, without a choice.

    Tbh you should keep Santi, Muniain has been out with a long-term injury for ages and I think he has recovered but in the meanwhile Iñaki has risen and has taken Muniain's spot in the team. Iñaki is a way better choice now, so Muniain has considerable stalled. Long since he was once the Bilbao poster boy.

    You can read my scout report on Iñaki here:
    http://outsideoftheboot.com/2016/02/25/scout-report-inaki-williams-bilbaos-blinding-basque/

    Now, as a Utd fan, I wouldn't want Di Maria (lol) but anyway I would never give those two for AdM, two of the best talents in the world. Both due for rises this season. And with Weigl, Gimenez etc. you have a strong core of young players for the future.

    I always take the time to praise SM when they take a step in the right direction, but I also feel a duty to point out when a change results in a step in the wrong direction.

    I recently discovered that the larger clubs in SM will often get massive cash injections (30-50 mil as I've seen it) at the start of the new season, I suppose to help them preserve their status as large clubs and maybe even mimic an aspect of real world football economy (rich chairmen spending their own money on the club). If this change is not removed from the game, I can assure you that managers en masse will leave the smaller clubs in SM, as it will make it impossible to compete with the bigger clubs. As a result, SM will be left with even more game worlds where only 10 or so teams are taken in an 80 team game world, and the game's best custom and regular setups will diminish heavily in quality.

    Please take action to reverse this change before it is too late. At the very least, it should not be applied retroactively to setups already created before this change was introduced, and new setups should have the option to turn the change on or off. Default setups, like English Championships, should start with this feature off.

    Just heard that 2 of the best teams in D1 both received cash injections of 50mil today in the GW where I and others with far worse squads than mine in D2 received nothing....
    Absolute joke of a system, it works the exact opposite of how it should be, tell me how giving the best teams in the league 50mil improves competitiveness?

    Hi there!

    I've been having a problem in my GW, and sent a ticket about it, but the answer does not fit me at all. Take a look at it:

    Here's their answer:

    Seriously? They don't think there is a problem at all? This issue is causing a great imbalance in a GW I paid for!

    Is any of you having some issues related to this one? Prizes that have been distributed in a way that does not fit the GW at all? I'm afraid people will start leaving it if nothing gets done, it's so unfair.

    I'm looking forward to see what you guys think about this.

    Looking at Stevens original and subsequent posts my game world is probably not working as it should.
    Man City have a squad over 500mil, first team is typically 93 rated with the likes of neymar, messi and Reid up front.
    Their average squad rating is 83 though due to padding a squad of 37 players. They have about 12x 90+ players another 10x 80-89 players and some low rated young players.
    This is one of 3 clubs to receive cash injections in my game world Liverpool and Arsenal being the others.
    Steven mentioned average squad rating as being one factor so by looking at Man City one way to manipulate that factor is by purchasing a lot of 70 rated players to bring your squad rating down. Is this correct? And what are the other factors? As these could be manipulated too.

    I think it would be the best to compare the starting 11 or best 21 players of the team not the full squad as many teams are buying a lot of young talents which decreases average rating quite a bit...

    Well, since I can't find SuperNAG's thread, here this goes!
    I have a treat for all you lovely moochers out there.
    Guedes had a +3, which was measly.
    Should have been a +4 or even a +5.
    Neves has almost 400 minutes less than Guedes and he rose from 83 to 86 (should have been a +1, as he got the rise when he had less than 600 minutes of game time).
    Here are some risers, that I hope SW doesn't overlook (all deserve at least a +4):

    Douglas Dyanfres (on loan at Sanfrecce Hiroshima) - 78 -> 83
    Fabinho Aguiar (Yokohama F Marinos) - 78 -> 83
    Carlos Eduardo (Kashiwa Reysol) - 78 -> 83
    Chao Li (S. Ever Bright) - 75 -> 80
    Zhang Xiaobin (Jiangsu Santy) - 70 -> 76/77
    Marcelo Toscano (América MG) - 78 -> 83
    Fernando Zampedri (JU Gualeguaychú) - 76 -> 82/83
    Amadou Diawara (Bologna) - 78 -> 83
    Jaume Domenech (Valencia) - 80 -> 84/85
    Eloge Yao (on loan at Crotone) - 75 -> 80
    Dominic Solanke (on loan at Vitesse) - 76 -> 80/82
    Andreas Christensen (on loan at B. Monchengladbach) - 78 -> 84/85
    Carlos Salcedo (Guadalajara) - 78 -> 82/83
    Nélson Monte (Rio Ave) - 78 -> 82
    Cheick Keita (Virtus Entella) - 70 -> 75
    M. Dahoud (B. Monchengladbach) - 78 -> 83/84
    Pau López (Espanyol) - 80 -> 84
    Robin Yalçin (Caykur Rizespor) - 78 -> 82

    Then there's obviously Donnarumma, but predicting his rise would be a gamble, as idk how much more he's gonna play.
    Also on track to big rises are Koselev (Sheriff), Rashica (Vitesse), Tete (Ajax), Ferrari (Bologna), Vukcevic (Braga), Glesion, on loan at Porto B, João Graça of Porto B and Selikhov (Amkar).
