    I see everyone posting their SM stories....
    I'll keep mine very simple. I would 100% be gone off SM completely had it not been for the time i've invested in my Lazio team on the boards GW....
    Like the rest of you I had many gameworld's, packed them all in, zero interest. I've 3 now and 2 of them are my own ones where there is very little maintenance required, that's the ONLY reason I don't dump them.
    What has been a fantastic product has become a chore, and a chore that does not even work correctly.....
    In essence, there is literally nothing keeping me in the game anymore bar the time I've put in (in a massively competitive GW) with Lazio...
    Simple really, the chat was the final straw... it's broke, they are not fixing it....

    Tactical is very crucial in this game. I saw that Player Instructions at In-Game Instructions were showing DIFFERENT PLAYERS between in OLD & NEW UI. Example : For Captain in OLD UI was John Terry, in NEW UI was OTHER PLAYER & NOT HIM, and vice versa. WHICH PLAYER THAT READ BY PARAMETER IN THE SYSTEM, WAS IT IN OLD UI OR NEW UI? All Players Instructions were mess-up whether in 45/60/75 minutes. This is 1 of unsynchronize case again between Old & New UI.
    Transfer listing often errors in creating price value for players. Sometime said that could not giving value under & sometime giving unrealistic value. Example for player have value 4M, then creating transfer list value to 6M. System failed creating transfer list with reason that I input value under 4M, or system success creating transfer list with value 15M.
    New UI :
    1. CANNOT accepting/rejecting any bids that from other Managers. From COM, it's fine. This happen since March 01 '2016. Since that date many error often happen, including some new errors.
    2. Terminating the loan make us feel so boring with how much time it take, and sometime system having crash & should be to reload page, then looping back to my home page again.
    3. Formation list NOT ALL WERE SHOWING (http://goo.gl/nkRXJy). I already try to scrool & to minimize/maximize display of mobile browser (Chrome mobile)
    4. Fund was NOT SHOWING at top of each page again since that date.
    Old UI display screen getting worse & the worst. Advertisement page on right pane having 99% display in portrait view (http://goo.gl/rpZzat) & 85% in landscape view (http://goo.gl/wvnRlk). Me & my friends were using Chrome mobile (latest update).
    I don't know how you work & manage all mess. But this not getting right but getting worse & the worst. If you still develop "YOUR FAVORITE" NEW UI, then fix old UI in everything. It's NOT COMFORTABLE to play with this all mess.
    Fixation in new UI having effect to old UI. All these days, old UI having very important role in accessing, executing & helping our daily activities in this game, if compare than new UI. Please fix old UI especially IN DISPLAY for mobile browser.

    Since 6 or 7 days ago, new UI became slower & unresponsive. Many new bugs were more often happen than before. Yes, statistic view was repaired with adding more 2 digits in Avg & also assist field were filled.
    Here some problems that I've found :
    1. New UI became slower & unresponsive for all pages. The most annoying & slowest response was at Tactical page. I should wait ±5-15 seconds to get right response for all actions, including selecting/changing players, setting instructions like freekick, captain, etc. If not respond, then I should clicked it again & so on.
    2. My home, usually clubs sorted by registration/join time, and never change until we decide to quit from old club, and/or to join new club. Latelly in new UI, sometime it sorted randomly when we visit my home page.
    3. Renewing contract :
    a. Not seen a fast update of extended contract that signed in players data view, neither in Squad - Finance view, also in personal player's pages. I tried to reload the squad page & many ways, but it still didn't see player's contract duration was extended.
    b. Sometime haven't extended their contract, eventhough showing balloon message "This player has recently signed a contract". I need to extend from old UI.
    c. Often showing error message "Sorry an unexpected error has occured. Please try again", so I should try to click around 5-6 times, until new contract was signed.
    d. Annoying SLOW respond, if balloon message like "This player has recently signed a contract", or "Addes to transfer list : [Amount]" appear, then automatically bring me to personal player's page.
    4. Transfers-in page not showing exactly of all players that I've made bids. Example : I made bid for player "A", then "A" not showing in transfer-in's list. I should go to home page, then entering same game world again, in order to see that informations correctly.
    5. Newsfeed :
    a. For collapse bid's news often not show/update at newsfeed, but it show together with succesfull bid news (when players already move to our club).
    b. Responding an offer. In old UI, if you accepting an offer from 1 club, then offers from other clubs were collapsed automatically & update very fast in newsfeed. In new UI, other offers still showing respond button. I tried to open other tab & get back to newsfeed, and the result are an accepted & some (but not all) collapsed bid show, BUT also respond button still there.
    c. Due to slow respond in new UI, you "must immediately" make multiple action for deleting all messages & selecting multiple messages to delete.
    6. I also tried to play this anywhere with mobile internet. At some area, it was very hard to load. The worst part was to save tactics, it need more than 10-15 times or more to save it. In every pages, OFTEN shows a message error, "Sorry an unexpected error has occured. Please try again", and/or displays loading bar animation for long time but no finishing action (just loading animation only). Once again, the worst moment was in tactical page.
    Usually at that area, I can play quiet good enough with OLD UI. I'm suggesting, maybe you could give a solution for this matter, maybe like giving optional quality for display, or others, in order to decrease heavy loading of each page & to give some chance for many players who live with standard quality of internet access. Please consider about this!
    I believe many people at suburban/shore/other areas want to play this game. My friends at Asia, Australia, and others also have same problems their complaining about. We thought your new UI was not ready enough to be launched lively. Your new UI also made us to consume more bandwith, so for mobile players who live not in big cities couldn't play this game with smoothly.
    7. I support your effort to decrease cheaters or hogging users, but because of your new UI not light & often giving error message for mobile users. I manage 5 clubs, and it need so much time to manage a club. In our experience, it need lot of time & effort in renewing contract, then update transfer status, and worst case in tactical. In analizing other manager's team, to load their pages & their matches also need much time.
    The problem for NEW manager must login every 7 days. Would you extend that period into another week? We're considering this, because of we've job that often go to some places out of big city that not have good quality of internet access. Counting on mobile internet not good enough solution.
    My experience, was saved by OLD UI that I can work fast (1 day before I get to be kicked out from that game world). I think this matter will solve if your new UI was LIGHT & FAST like old UI. I can work with old UI in 5-15 minutes to manage a club, but now in new UI need an hour or more.
    But as you insist to phase out old UI & to continue using new UI, so please give a solution for login period for new managers? How long we should wait for STABLE version of your new UI?
    Beside the game couldn't play in relaxing mode again, but now really manage a team including finance, depth of squad, transfer market, tactical & etc.
    8. In tactical, I still see Playing Style. If that giving an effect in our playing matches, than it became BIG PROBLEM. I saw our last setting still applying in tactical section, but it can't be change again in new UI.
    9. Your match engine, we think some kind of unrealistic. Many matches win in very big gap, like 3-0 to 6-1. How could be some team so often winning in fantastic score like that & "UNBEATABLE" (maybe 20 or more winning strike). I'm asking to my friend, at least try with different formations & strategies, but the result were same. If this continue, than for small club with great strategy/team balance will never beat club with high rating players, and/or high club's rating avg. My question, how would you make competitive league if this continues? Club with low rating player only have small chance in winning a match. Again, with this new UI & match engine, do you make this game more realistic or fantasy?
    I'm hoping better performances from your new UI, that could make mobile gamers very easy & very smooth in play your game, without any bugs or errors again. I'm also hoping "LIGHT, STABLE & QUICK RESPONSES" could be 1ST PRIORITY to enhance your new UI.
    Else of mobile network at some countries, I also tested with broadband 2MB (standard home user's favorite choice), your new UI giving pretty slow responses, like I said above that the WORST part always in tactical pages & not easy to change players, and to save it. This situation very annoying, confusing & if I could said wasting time.
    Why? Because if we could manage a club in short time (5-15 minutes), now we need big much time to manage a club. Our focus also distract not just with heavy loading for each oage, but also with so much bugs & errors. My question, until when we could use LIGHT, STABLE & QUICK RESPONSES UI again (whatever your UI choice)?
    That's the fact & you better giving solution in "short time", because we were in running games. If a season only run in 3 months, this situation already run for a month. We were loss in everywhere whether in transfer strategy, in manage formation/strategy, and else. For me, my team's position were dropped into mid because of this situation. For business, this was very unprofessional. Please, we need quick solution, and not just a promise. Cheers

    For Tactical matters :
    a). Corelation between your new tactics with player's position, if you said could change player's rating & also could make player's performance could be low/bad, then these is very very very serious matter. I suggesting 3 option for this matters :
    ⅰ). Fixing all "3 defender" formations that provided in "New version" into "Old version" ie : 3-5-2, 3-4-3, 3-4-2-1, 3-4-1-2, 3-2-2-2-1. Why? Because Right/Left Midfielder made players out of position. We couldn't sell our AM (RL) players & switching with low rating players that suitable with new position (pure M (RL)). This is the era of flexible strategies, so many players could be played minimum into 2 or 3 positions (including AM (RL) could play as M (RL), for REAL). For this matter, your option are fixing it, or providing us with more type of that formation ( "B", or "C", or "D" & etc). I think many users very need this.
    ⅱ). Configuring new tactic model based and/or liked the old one, and with some improvements. Example : variant of 3-5-2 named "3-1-4-2" with AM (RL) could play as M (RL).
    ⅲ). From basic formations that you provide, users could make it to be "Custom" formation as like as user's need. Example : Based formation 3-5-2, display in match game "3-5-2 Custom".
    . The way in changing/switching players in tactical formation. We need players can be sort by rating, condition, position & morale.
    c). Making our tactic instruction were hidden/private too in match's statistic tab. Giving basic formation (without movement) is more than enough. This will give flexibility for managers in creating their personal strategy.
    Recently, I read some users debating about Right/Left Fullback can played as Centerback. Maybe we could remember how Guardiola given the role to Adriano as Centerback for many times. Many Fullbacks adapted as Centerback & feel comfortable, then Centerback become their primary position. Named Nesta & Zaccardo from DR, Chiellini & Mathieu from DL and manymore.
    My opinion, this matter shouldn't be debated, because this is an era of flexible football, with more custom roles, instructions, playing styles & strategies itself. Cheers.

    @SM Devs and Admins - Do you realise that with the economy changes you are asking people that have spent years, (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc) building their teams to start all over again? Do you realise that smaller clubs have no way to make money nor do they have an opportunity to compete? There were tens of very detailed posts showing you how bad these changes are for a lot of gameworlds however you have deleted them because people have venteed their full frustration and anger in them which has derived from the very unwelcome changes you have implemented. Do you want to purposely lose customers?
    Tell us what the feedback and suggestions were from the Google hangouts and how many of them you implemented. A lot was discussed and I do not see any of the very good ideas that were thrown around and accepted as such implemented. Instead all I see is people complaining about everything you have done.
    You have rushed these changes to coincide with the 10 year anniversary and even though you won't admit and accept it you've made a big mistake. Maybe you will get new customers people who can start fresh and like what they see but that will be on the back of the people thay brought you here. The people that were spending hours each day building their teams and scouting players. And that's a big maybe on new people because the game has more problems now than it ever did before.
    In short I will tell you the problems that I personally see:
    - Revenue stream for smaller clubs closed with all players being valued the same. In the real world a superstar is valued more at a small club because he's their big ticket item. When they sell him they command massive fees because that's their bread and butter, developing young players, ie feedsr clubs. Example, Everton sell Stones for £50m to Chelsea but his value at the club isn't quite that high considering they have Terry, Zouma, Cahill etc.
    - Increased wages make the possibility of a smaller club owning good players virtually impossible - gap between smaller and bigger teams increased. Creates neverending vicious circle between success and revenue.
    - Changes in valuation of players that have been valued the same way for as long as this game has been running has completely destroyed gameworlds and made teams unsustainable. This has lead to members with 500 odd games being forced to leave their clubs because there is no purpose in continuing.
    - Scouting young players has lost its appeal, young players don't increase much in value when rising because of the tier system. This was another revenue stream closed for smaller clubs.
    - Match engine is as random as ever. There is no logical explanation for a team with 60-70% fitness of low rated players to win against a 100% fitness team of high rated players. That's like saying a conference side that played on Wednesday go to a Premier League club on Saturday and destroy them.
    - Player positions have been messed up with the new formations. People that have built teams and are mid season have to now scramble and fill the positions because the formation they have built around for years bo longer accepts the players they've got there.
    - Interface, buggy as hell, nauseous to look at and uneccesarily complicated. It's like something out of cbeebies. Why would someone come up with that and more importantly why would decisionmakers agree that its good? The only way people would think that's good is if they don't spend any time looking at it.
    - The biggest problem of all is that you are not listening to the feedback, complaints, rants and suggestions of your customers. You have a duty to listen to their frustration just like any customer service team of any company. Deleting posts of people complaining is like hanging up on someone complaining in the real world.
    You may feel invincible now, but every bubble bursts. Don't let arrogance and stubbornness make the 10th anniversary of SoccerManager its last!

    Dear SM Development, Mr. Steven & Mr. Kev,
    Congratulation for your fabulous 10th years celebration. I believe that you make these improvement into your game with positive thoughts & goals, but why you make "SM World" look very similar like "SM 2016"?
    "SM World" is a relaxing football manager game with simplicity, reliable & light interface. That's why many user want to play this game, without overthinking of managing financial, or player concern to much, like Football Manager or Championship Manager game. We could play this game while at office either, like changing our squad for next match, etc.
    If you want to follow and to compete with other football manager game, it's the right step to build & to improve your "SM 2016". I think the best step is developing your "SM 2016" game with offline & online mode, and NOT bringing complexity of "SM 2016" to "SM World". If you want "SM 2016" app very useful, and want many users playing the game, then create some game world for a season in "SM 2016", and top 3 winners get some prizes like Gold coins or anything that could be useful & give some advantages in "SM World".
    If you still trying to push us using this new version, I believe many users would prefer to stop playing the game, or maybe to choose other game like Sport Interactive's Football Manager online, that have similar complexity but giving more consistency or stabililty in performance. You should think about forcing us to use new interface, because what we need the most is light interface that brought simplicity when playing the game, just like a testimony in your blog (http://goo.gl/2JDztk). He mention about "The Layout – I like the easy layout. It’s simple and fast". He lives in Suriname, a small country, which it could be very difficult to find internet access in that area, especially the high speed one (it could be also very expensive).
    You should also consider user's age range. They were some students, some workers, and some unemployment. For workers will be choose simply "SM World", rather than complex interface like your new version. Besides, workers will have more chance to be gold member and will give you incomes, than other users who usually comparing with other famous football manager game.
    So please consider to give an option at least ONLY for the "Desktop Interface", because that really big matter & major problem in this case. I think that is a good solution for all of us, whether for you as developer and for ours as user.
    And for Mr. Steven, simple interface means easy to use, to manage & very reliable for every users. That is the meaning of simple interface (UI). If many users complaining about that, it means you failed. I always offering to all my clients this value, because users don't need complicated apps/programs. Their time were precious, and I don't want their wasting it because of my own ego. Remember, they need to adapt. But adaptation for more simple interface, and not for more complex one.
    On the other hand, I fully support your effort in decreasing cheaters or hogging players, and 'museum' clubs. And it would be very nice if some features need to mix and match again within old and new version, like :
    1. Tactical and player's position.
    2. List view in :
    a). Player search, so it wasn't need a lot of next button that often error. The most important can be sort by club, price, ranking, etc.
    . Team Fixtures & Results. It should be simple to see, just like old version one. It doesn't need any tab, why you split this into 3 sections/tabs? Confusing & wasting in loading time.
    3. The way in changing players in tactical formation. We know our player position, so we don't need recommendation that not sort by position number that we already arrange. Old version were better too for this section.
    4. Players link to Soccer Wiki for player's information. If you delete the link, then you should provide us with simply & similar informations like in that website.
    5. In player search section, value range doesn't work. If I limiting maximum value to $25M, it's show players with value above that.
    6. Fixing all bugs that make us always to reload or to click for 15 times until giving the right display or respond. If I analyze, this matter also caused by your new interface.
    My personal suggestions for this game :
    1. Making our tactic instruction more hidden/private in match statistic tab. Giving basic formation (without movement) is more than enough. This will give flexibility in creating our personal strategy.
    2. Please add Multiple Action function in Squad Tab, to set Transfer Status, New Contract & Squad Status in easier way. We won't wasting time when loading each player pages for same action.
    3. For transfer banned players, it more easy to known if you could make a flag or make their names into different colors.
    4. If you double player's value & wage, then it will be fair if you also double our financial too. Example : Before update, if my team have money around $30M, then we could buy Jordi Alba for around $16M and other some players. After update, team money still $30M, then Alba's value change to $26M. So we couldn't afford to buy other players that we've planned to buy.
    I'm hoping that you have policies for this matters. Thank you.
