  2. Re: Lisandro and Lucho out - what now for Porto? Well, according to reports out of Portugal today Falcao is going to sign for Porto in just hours. Lisandro's replacement at 5 million euros. Couple of years time he will be worth 30
  3. Re: Lisandro and Lucho out - what now for Porto? Another great bit of business on Porto's part. 41 Million Euros gained from 2 players they payed 6 million for. Lucho has been replaced by Fernando Belluschi and Diego Valeri. Lisandro will be replaced by Falcao. Added with Varela, Orlando Sa, Pereira, Maicon, Coelho, Lopes. take a look at this article: http://www.portugoal.net/index.php/more-fc-porto-news/2525-fc-porto-the-money-making-machine
  4. Re: Youngsters in Portugal Thanks for reminding me. Will add credits soon! Next up will probably be Dinis/Ruca/Ivo Pinto. Thanks for the comment Bailg!
  5. Re: David ALABA, Austrian Jewel at Muenchen Great report! This guy really is a gun and hopefully he will be given his chance at Bayern. The comparison to Ze Roberto is really accurate too. Well done!
  6. Re: Youngsters in Portugal Diogo Viana Diogo Filipe Guerreiro Viana or better known as Diogo Viana is a 19 year old Portuguese Attacking right/left wing currently playing for Portuguese giants FC Porto. Diogo Viana is known for his quick runs down the line and great positional play down the flanks. These qualities have seen the label "O novo Quaresma" (The new Quaresma) been used. Youth Career Diogo Viana was first introduced to the Sporting academy at the tender age of 11. He quickly established himself throughout all of Sporting's youth ranks and was introduced into the reserve team at 17. This led to the Portuguese U18 coach calling him up to play. He accepted and his dazzling displays for his country didn't go unnoticed as Porto scouts kept an eye on him. Unfortunately he suffered a sever injury which kept him out for 5 months. Luckily he recovered fully and got back to playing football. After great displays in the reserve team this caught Porto's eye even more! Thus came the transfer of Helder Postiga and Porto wanted something to balance the weight. What better then a 18 year old youngster with bags of potential. Thus he made the move up north. Senior Career Diogo Viana has seen little first team action and his most notable appearance was against his former club Sporting in the Calsberg Cup semi final. Sporting went on to win the match 4-1 against mostly Porto reserves but Viana didn't lack confidence and made plenty of runs down the flanks. Now he has been loaned out to Setubal by Porto in order to gain first team experience along with Daniel Candeias. Hopefully Diogo Viana will impress in Setubal and can hold down a starting birth. Then we can truly evaluate his potential. After his loan spell with Setubal he will return to Porto. Portuguese youth career Diogo Viana has been an ever present figure from the U16s up until the U19s although he has also been called up to the U21s which is great for a 19 year old. His matches for the Portuguese youth teams really captured Porto scouts attention and hopefully we will see Diogo Viana wearing the national team shirt in the next year or two. DerbyPower's great thread on Diogo Viana....http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=35143&highlight=diogo+viana
  7. Re: Uelliton, Brazilian Starlet.. Apodi always wanted the ball and made bursting runs down the right flank. I thought he played well. Uelliton for me was good in the first half did what he needed to do with no fuss again IMO. Second half he was quieter. Comes down to difference of opinion.
  8. Re: Uelliton, Brazilian Starlet.. First half Uelliton was good and really consistent in the centre of the park. In the second he died down a little bit but was still involved to some extent. Also Insider suggested that Uelliton's place may be at risk once Jackson returns looks like Vanderson is out for 3 weeks due to a red card so at least Uelliton's position is safe for another 3 weeks. Could probably get a rise in the coming changes to 82 or abouts seeing Vitoria are in fine form.
  9. Re: Uelliton, Brazilian Starlet.. Apodi is absolutely on fire down that right flank. Probably Vitoria's best player on the pitch ATM.
  10. Re: Uelliton, Brazilian Starlet.. Vitoria are currently playing Flamengo who are winning 1-0. Uelliton is playing quite well. If anyones interested..... http://www.justin.tv/boston_tv2
  11. Re: Uelliton, Brazilian Starlet.. Great report, great structure. Hope to see more in the future Keep it up!
  12. Re: Laio - Botafogo gem First half he was poor but in the second he was probably Bota's best always getting involved with plays.
  13. Re: NAINGGOLAN, Radja and Francesco Renzetti Renzetti has officially signed for Genoa.
  14. Re: Laio - Botafogo gem He has played the full 90 so far in the match today. Hes been inconsistent i guess. He plays really well then fades away. First half today he was non-existent but in the second he has been really lively. Currently he is not on DB and with Ney Franco really close to being sacked i would like to see how he fairs with his new coach. He will get added when they check the Brazilian ratings.
  15. Re: Laio - Botafogo gem Rafael Toloi just scored lol.
  16. Re: Laio - Botafogo gem Whole Goias defence has been good today. Really solid. If anything is winning Goias the game its definitely the defence. Toloi has pretty much contained Laio. Hopefully we weill see something different in the second half
  17. Re: Laio - Botafogo gem So far its half time and Laio has been rather poor. He has only contributed to one notable thing and that was flicking on for the goal. Bota are down 2-1 to Goias hopefully he can turn things around.
  18. Re: Laio - Botafogo gem Laio will most likely start the game tonight against Goias. I'll let everyone know how he goes.
  19. Re: Italian Starlet - Gianmarco Zigoni According to Sky Sports Italia he has signed for Milan which is a great move for him. This is the article from goal. Milan have beaten off competition from a number of Serie A rivals to sign 18-year-old striker Gianmarco Zigoni from Lega Pro club Treviso for €1.2million, according to Sky Sport Italia. The striker had made a huge impression at youth level and was brought into the first team by the Trevigiani last term, netting two goals in 18 appearances in Serie B. However, Treviso suffered relegation to Lega Pro and are in desperate need of funds ahead of next season. The club risked being sued by Zigoni for unpaid bonus money and could have lost the player on a free transfer, so they swiftly accepted Milan’s offer of €1.2m. Zigoni has scored more than 100 goals at Primavera level for Treviso and netted on his Serie B debut against Ancona last January. He is the son of Gianfranco Zigoni, who won two Serie A titles with Juventus in the 1960s.
  20. Re: Sanchez Watt His long term future certainly doesn't lie with Arsenal but he will be a great player if his potential and current ability is anything to go by. Constantly been good everytime i've seen him in the reserves.
  21. Re: How Sir Alex should spend his £80 million News just out of Portugal and they think that Nani will be used in a swap deal with Valencia for Wigan. I think Roberto Martinez will get the best of out Nani if he goes TBH.
  22. Re: NAINGGOLAN, Radja and Francesco Renzetti I think a update is long overdue . Well this find has been probably one of my most successful and that is Fran Renzetti. Currently he is still playing for Albinoleffe and was one of there stars this season in defence. He appeared 39 times in the season out of 40 and they were all starts. He also banged in a goal. He has also been included in Italy's youth teams as well including this years U21 championships. He rose from 78 to 83 and it won't stop there. Radja Nainggolan appeared 37 times with 36 starts and 1 sub. He finished off with 3 goals. He rose from 75 to 82 and he also won't stop there. He also got his first cap for Belgium in the Kirrin cup. Despite the Kirrin cup not really being a really prestigious cup it still counts towards caps. Also Roma have declared their interest in both players. Not bad for my first two finds Hope you bought em' Dermo is sure was worth the wait i guess
  23. Re: Fabricio Silva Dornellas Well after a couple of months i've decided to update this thread He ended up playing 6 games with Hoffenheim once starting and 5 times of the bench. Read some articles and said he was pretty solid. He was not signed permanently by Hoffenheim. A major reason to this was the price tag which was set at 3 million pounds. He has now returned to Flamengo and played in their most recent game which they beat Inter 4-0. I can see him being a mainstay in the Fla defence so snap him up! I didn't watch the Fla game but apparently he was really good and is now rated even higher amongst the Fla coaches.
