  1. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Euro Cup 2012 winner Sergio Busquets may leave for the right(really good) price. Preferably a centre back and a striker.
  2. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Derby County beat Hull City 4 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture. Huntelaar scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Diarra and Sinama-pongolle were also amongst the goalscorers.
  3. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Derby haven't been performing to my expectation so far yet. 2 draws and 1 defeat in the past week. So, I'll be looking for some deals. Top lists are good young left-back and right back preferably 86+, age no more than 22. May trade up with Bolat, Dariusz Dudka, Miguel Torres, Zakaria Labyad and/or De Guzman plus up to 50mil. PM/VM me for negotiation.
  4. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Still looking to sign RB, CB and Wing. Preferably 87+. Permanent or temporary (loan for the whole season).
  5. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Derby County beat Wigan Athletic 3 - 1 in their Division 3 fixture. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Sergio Busquets got in the scoresheet with the former netted a brace. A sweet victory in my 300th EC106 game.
  6. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread I'm looking for a good centreback and right winger (RM or Wing) rated 88+. Willing to offer 20mil each plus may include these players; Manuel Da Costa, Alou Diarra, Jonathan De Guzman, Raffaele Palladino, Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Balde Ibrahima. P.S. Tonight match shall mark my 300th game in EC106.
  7. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread No no no guys.. It's John Our-the-net-see! Lol Back to topic, Chesterfield lost 4-1 to Shorpe. Lulic scored the consolation goal. I think there's no point playing friendlies against the big teams. Zero chance of winning.
  8. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread If I were to stay with Chesterfield, it would take longer time for me to rebuild a squad I used to have when I was with Charlton 3 seasons ago. I really missed those times. In the other hand, I quite enjoy playing for Chesterfield, building from a rubbish squad to a decent Div 4 team. Financial wise, Derby have much more too.
  9. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Welcome to EC106! Enjoy! Anyway, I've been offered Derby County job. In serious dilemma now..
  10. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Unlucky. Letter 'U' being after 'P' in alphabetical order.
  11. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield were held to a goalless draw with Rushden & Diamonds. Innocent Emeghara had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match. Chesterfield finished 10th in Division 4 which is an acceptable league position I've aimed to achieve since joining them back in 20 Jan 2012. SMFA World Cup Dean Bryant earned a draw with Uruguay against France. The match ended 1 - 1 between Uruguay and France in their SMFA World Cup Group G fixture. Cavani scored the only goal for Uruguay and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. This could be my last World Cup appearance as my Gold Member will expire in 80 days.
  12. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield won 1-0 over Walsall. Innocent Emeghara scored the winning goal. I've achieved my initial target when I took over them; a respectable mid table position. And now I'll be looking forward to clear my club's debt and improve my squad. Next season target: A play-off position (3rd to 6th).
  13. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Congrats Zak. Way to go, mate! Good luck with Bradford. I'll be doing the same with my Chesterfield as I don't think we are ready for Div 3, so I would be happy enough to get them in a good mid position in Div 4 by the end of the season as I plan to continue building the squad for next season campaign.
  14. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield won 2-0 over Luton Town. Hugo Postiga netted both goals to take his tally for the season to 17 goals in all competitions.
  15. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield slumped to a 3 - 1 defeat against Ipswich Town in their Division 4 fixture. Postiga scored the only goal for Chesterfield and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. A very slim chance of getting into the play-off spot now. Maybe next season.
  16. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread I don't have any 90 but I never worried about relegation.
  17. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Some rating changes in Chesterfield squad. Alvaro Cejudo 86 -> 87 Raul Rodriguez 84 -> 86 Pedro Martin 75 -> 77 Kader Oueslati 75 -> 77
  18. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield players' rating change: Alejandro Arribas 85 -> 86 Imanol Agirretxe 85 -> 86 Was expecting both to get 87 though.
  19. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Well done Dom on the English Cup success. You inspire me (another Div 4 side) to do better in the cup next season.
  20. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield Match Reports (Turn 26 to Turn 29) Turn 26 - Grimsby Town 1-3 Chesterfield Chesterfield put in a good performance to outclass the struggling Grimsby Town. Hugo Postiga put the visitors in front before the break with a fine finisher. Alberto Botia and Imanol Agirretxe scored in the second half to give the visitors a comfortable lead. The host look tired late in the game but ironically the ageing Filippo Inzaghi looked the most athletic as he used his pace toward the box before unleashing a cool finish for the consolation goal. Turn 27 - Chesterfield 0-2 Yeovil Town Chesterfield failed to perform with their understrength squad as they slumped to a 0-2 to Yeovil Town. Sami Allagui and John Utaka grabbed the goals for the visitors. Manager Dean Bryant will have every reason to look worried after the game with Dennis Diekmeier and Hugo Postiga joining Jean Makoun, Willian Betao, Gabriel Obertan, Borges Romulo and Tomas Pekhart in the medical centre. Turn 28 - Swindon Town 2-0 Chesterfield A comfortable win for Swindon Town as they took the advantage of the depleted Chesterfield side who were without 7 first team players due to injury and suspension. Neri Cardozo and Giuseppe Mascara scored the goals. Turn 29 - Chesterfield 1-0 Boston Town Teofilo Gutierrez lifted the host morale with the winner at B2net Stadium and gave Chesterfield a glimmer hope for a top half position. Pablo Piatti picked his fifth yellow card in the season and will be automatically suspended for the next domestic game.
  21. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield hold to a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest. Pereira Eliseu grabbed the equaliser after Christian Benteke opened the scoring for the host. Eliseu got injured during the game and will be out of action for 4 weeks with groin strain. 5 key players injured in the last 4 games. Brilliant.
  22. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Chesterfield First Team Transfers News: Signed him to replace departed Guti and he has come in a good timing with skipper Jean Makoun sideline for 3 weeks with groin strain. High possible to rise to 87 or even 88 in the coming Spanish rating review. Chesterfield will have a better squad when SM review Spanish league. Alejandro Arribas, Raul Rodriguez and Imanol Agirretxe are very likely to have their ratings increase to at least by 1. The only player that I'm worried is Helder Postiga as he could drop by 1 due to his team's league standing. Chesterfield have also completed the signing of Oueslati Kader and Luciano Vietto. Prince-D├ęsir Gouano and Ferhat Yazgan will follow suit within the next 24 hours.
