My next game is an away game and was thinking of the 5-3-2 but wasn't sure what players to deploy.

Its just that the outer 2 of the back 5 look like they're in midfield!!

Is that just the limits of the display thingy? Are they ment to be more close to the defenders?

So should it look like this?....

RB-CB-CB-CB-LB

....RM-CM-LM

.......CF-FWD

Based on my experience with the 5-4-1, it seems pure RBs & LBs don't do too well there; I think RB/RMs & LB/LMs (or RM/RBs & LM/LBs) may be more suitable. And the central midfield trio surely resembles that in a 3-5-2.

How highly do people rate Cavenaghi? I don't watch much french football' date=' but with Bordeaux doing so well in the Champions League I thought his rating may increase. However, I was looking at his form this season and it seems as though he can't find the net on a regular basis, with 1 league goal.

Jo + Javier Garrido + £3 million = Cavenaghi

He managed to retain his 90 last time only because of his no: of appearances. He's been playing well below his ability for months now; there's no chance of him rising, not if this trend continues.

The first offer's good in the long term. Assuming Boateng progresses as expected, he'll rise to 90 next time, and then (hopefully) 91 and beyond.

Getting Elia for Caceres on top of the first deal would be even sweeter; the Dutchman has been Hamburg's best player this season, from what I've read. He'll also be playing for the Netherlands at the World Cup, so it's a win-win situation for you, overall.

Just thinking that Almunia got me into Div 1. There are other keepers who I can hold out for.

Almunia's fairly certain to be shunted out of Arsenal in the summer. I wouldn't do that deal if I were you.

Each game i've done the v.defensive and pray tactics and the latest game my 83 rated team beat a 91 rated side.

Unmanaged teams need to watch out lol!![/quote']

Be careful just in case your 83-rated side comes face-to-face with a lower-rated team; your luck may run out then.

Hmm. I don't see any point in buying another similar-rated GK, then. Although Dembele and AZ have hardly been setting the Eredivisie alight this year, so you may want to look for a better replacement for him.

It really depends on who your GKs & strikers are. I expect Adler to be Germany's no: 1 at the World Cup this summer. But Dembele and Hangeland will not break the 90 barrier at their respective clubs (if ever).

I find that a defensive mentality coupled with a direct passing game helps me score plenty of goals. My Dortmund side in a custom setup finished well top of the 'goals scored' list, with my strikers scoring freely and the midfield chipping in handsomely.
