  21. Re: English Championship 106 - Transfer/Gossip thread Izod Mentally Disturbed After Meeting With Mosley It has already been reported that Dave Izod has clearly suffered a serious mental breakdown with England and Crewe manager Sean Fitzpatrick putting the differences the two managers have aside and trying to help the troubled Hull manager however Izod is determined to continue his rant at the respected world cup winning manager quite possibly through jealousy that it was not him that took England to world cup success but more likely the sordid events of the past few months that saw Izod disappear if you were to believe Dave Izod's story then it was the northern alliance that held him captive for nearly 2 months however the N.B.A News have recently learned that Izod had a meeting with the sick and twisted Max Mosley Izod Was Seen Meeting With Mosley Approximately 2 hours after this photo was taken Izod had mysteriously vanished to reappear a few weeks ago and more recently come up with a story that would implicate the much respected Northern Business Alliance in his disappearance and torture when more likely he was involved in one of Max Mosley's sordid sex games which has no doubt mentally scared the Hull manager and these recent accusations are more than likely a defense mechanism so he doesn't have to remember the events of the past few months. In Other News The Reported has been sold to the Northern Business alliance which is the companies second takeover in just over a year having been taken over and renamed from the 106 Times. The Reporter owned by Fulham boss Philip Gibbon was reported to have been sold to the N.B.A for around £750,000 with Gibbon staying on as Editor of the paper the takeover will give the N.B.A a foothold in the London media
  22. Re: English Championship 106 - Transfer/Gossip thread Fulham Sign Adelino Vieirinha Fulham have signed 24y/o winger Adelino Vieirinha from PAOK for a fee of £4,800,000 Vieirinha starts his second spell in England having previously been with Darlington back in season 3 where he made 7 appearances making 2 assists and having an average rating of 7.29 he signs a 3 year contract with Fulham worth £21,600 per Turn Vieirinha is widely expected to take the place of Jonathan Pitroipa who is joining Notts County in early November James Tomkins Backs Former Boss Former Rochdale center back James Tomkins has come to the defense of under fire former boss Elliot Hilton after his recent bad press with rumors spreading about his womanizing ways Tomkins who worked for Hilton for just short of 3 years with loan spells at Dale while with Preston before making the move permanent has said that Hilton is a completely changed man from the one that famously had seven Mistresses at once Tomkins went on to say that Elliot and Paris have never been happier and neither would ever stray The Reporter went out on the road again this time to get the public's opinion on the latest Elliot Hilton rumor with opinion divided amongst the public with a small majority of the 10000 people asked thinking Hilton is innocent however a large number of people seem to think that young Hilton has been up to his old tricks once again and that the pressure of managing Rochdale and Ireland as well as raising a child proving too much with him slipping back into his old ways
  23. Re: English Championship 106 - Transfer/Gossip thread End Of Season Awards Once Again Prove A Success Last seasons end of season awards once again proved to be a complete success especially without the drunken ravings of a certain South London manager when he doesn't win the personality of the year in total 23 teams took awards back to there respective clubs with Preston and Sheffield Wednesday taking home the most with 4 awards each Bradford,Bristol City and Darlington were close behind taking 3 awards for the first time ever two awards were too close to call with the overall player of the year award and the overall team of the year being jointly awarded. After last seasons shocking displays by some teams the underachiver of the year surprisingly went to Chelsea and once again the award is reserved for a division 1 side this time Newcastle who were humiliated and were easy winners of the most unwanted award of the night. The Awards ended on a high though when Crewe and England manager Sean Fitzpatrick saw off competition from 6 other managers to claim the manager of the season award seeing off the missing Dave Izod who was largely forgotten at the awards. Fitzpatrick claims the solid gold personality of the year award one of only 2 in existance Fitzpatrick Second Most Popular England Manager of all time Sean Fitzpatrick has been voted by the public as the second most popular England manager off all time with only 1966 world cup winning manager Alf Ramsey getting more votes Fitzpatrick has been by far the most popular of the recent glut of England manager with most been unable to cut it at the high level even so James Burrow remains highly popular with the fans even though his tenure ended with a dismal performance. At the other end of the table serial womanizer Elliot Hilton has seen his popularity plummet of late after yet another scandal about the young Rochdale and Ireland manager to make things worse he couldn't even hide it well with Sutcliffe captured on camera with Tia Carrere while suppose to be managing in Irish national team his antics quite likely cost the Irish a good chance of progressing to the last 16 of the world cup. However fellow serial womanizer Sven Goran Eriksson still remains popular with English public England's Success Fails to Help Falling Levels Of First Team English Players England managed to win the world cup for only the second time this year however the success of the national side has not helped the shocking lack of first team English players in the English league with a fall of 5.7% in English players from 228 last year to just 215 this year with 30 out of 80 teams having less English players in there first teams. There is some positives though a total of 29 teams have incresed the number of home grown players in their squads with Leyton Orient leading the revival with 8 new additions since last year Blackpool,Shorpe and Preston have all added several English players to there first teams as well with these four clubs adding a total of 27 English players to their squads since 2009.
  24. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread 1-1 draw against Plymouth took the lead in the 34th minute thanks to Roland Juhasz but the home side pulled back level in the 49th minute with Paolo Guerrero scoring currently in 8th place and well done Sean
  25. Re: English Championship 106 - Transfer/Gossip thread Match Preview Division 2 v Fulham head along the coast to face Plymouth in there first game of season 12 and there first game back in division 2 since being promoted back in season 9 new manager Philip Gibbon has so far made a decent start to his career at the club winning 2 drawing 2 and losing 2 and will be looking to make a strong start to the season here against Plymouth he will be without Marcus Berg who is still suspended from a red card he received at the end of last season. New signing Silveira Juan is set to take the captains armband and lead the team out this afternoon he alongside fellow new signings Emmanuel Adebayor,Fabien Lemoine,Maarten Martens,Gastón Fernandez,Danilo Silva and James Tomkins have all been named in the squad of 16 that will be heading to Plymouth. Juan given Captains Armband Willian Borges the subject of several transfer rumours in recent days is also expected to play with a recent bid for the Brazilian turned down after it was deemed far too low the 22y/o is highly unlikely to be allowed to leave the club especially with the season just starting even if a very large bid came in he will be joining fellow Brazilians Juan and Jucilei for this evenings game. Borges Willian unlikely to be going anywhere
