  1. Re: Sign the petition!! Those who are against SM continuing to ruin the game!

    Hi all' date='

Thanks for those who have posted their feedback on today's tweaks, especially the constructive stuff :)

Some further amendments have been made since it went live and, yes, they have been in line with some of the feedback we have see here on the forum. It shouldn't be a surprise though, we do listen to what is posted on here, and very often use it as the starting point for future developments hence the updates seen in the last hour or so.

We'll continue to review your comments on here and as has always been the case, a well thought out, constructive idea will stand a good chance of making it's way into consideration for future direction of the game.

    Thanks

    Eric[/quote']

Thanks Eric - keep up the good work. I think most of us understand that you and the other devs are trying to do the right thing and improve the game. As long as you continue to listen to and act on our feedback, that's good enough for me.

  2. Re: Turkish Database - Ask me anything

Do you have a view on Emir KUJOVIC (23 Fwd/AM rated 82) of Kayserispor?

Can see from his stats that he's now a regular starter and starting to get a few goals.

Any views on next rating? And whether he is one to watch for the longer term?

    Cheers

  3. Re: Greek Championship! ask me anything

zaradoukas is out of the plans of his coach ' date='he made a mistake joining olympiakos ,the rumors says that he is joining giannena(a big step back) on loan .

Toche had injuries problems that's why he's not taking any time .

If you have thee two in your team better sell them .

    [/quote']

Thanks for the rapid response - hugely appreciated. Seems weird that a Greek international like Zaradoukas has suddenly been downgraded...

  4. Re: Greek Championship! ask me anything

Anyone know what is happening with these two players?

Zaradoukas - Olympiakos and part of the Greek NT which secured qualification to Euro 2012 but seems to be nowhere near the Olympiakos first team at the moment. Injured?

Toche - Panathinaikos - featured quite a bit for them early in the season but hasn't been seen recently. Injured?

  5. Re: Young CB

I wouldn't swear these are the very best prospects, but one good riser in this bracket would be

Marvin Bartley 72 - first team regular for Burnley

    Also take a look at

Tom Naylor 62 - apparently a great prospect and cheap as chips just joined Derby County on loan from Mansfield in the Conference

  6. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

    I'm back!

Here are a few more for your pleasure. I've tried to steer clear of the well known ones (apart from Bernardi!)

22 – 70 – Gk – BERNARDI, Laurent – Ajaccio – France Ligue 2 – I’m not taking the credit for this one (has his own thread here http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=87796&highlight=bernardi) but still 3 starts and 1 sub while first choice Debes was injured recently, performed well and will get a good rise. Also Ajaccio are currently 2nd and looking a good bet for promotion to Ligue 1.

22 – 69 – Fwd – TOMLIN, Lee – Peterborough United – England League 1 – super cheap wages, 28 starts 5 subs and 7 goals, Peterborough in the play off places.

19 – 68 – Fwd/AM – POWELL, Daniel – MK Dons – England League 1 – similar story, 18 starts 4 subs and 8 goals, MK Dons also in the play off places. Promising young player.

19 – 75 – DM – VOGT, Kevin – VfL Bochum – Germany 2nd division – one of the next big German talents? First team regular for Bochum who are currently lying 3rd in the League, 14 starts 2 subs this season, current starter for Germany U21 alongside the likes of Holtby, Mlapa, Rausch, Rudy etc.

19 – 82 – Fwd – JI, Dong-Won – Chunnam Dragons – South Korea – already has 9 caps and 5 goals for the NT at the age of just 19! Great prospect.

Let me know what you think!

  7. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

Miyaichi looks fantastic - a great story too in terms of his background - never having played a professional league game before joining Arsenal.

Here are a few more interesting ones for your enjoyment that I will add to the first post

19 - 75 - CM/AM - OZOBIC, Filip - Spartak Moscow - Russia - Croatia U21 international at the age of 19, quite a few bench appearances recently and started Spartak's last league game, a 1-0 win vs Volga - a bit of a punt but now he has broken into the first team, could be a very interesting prospect

22 - 75 - CB - BARBA, Osmar - Racing Santander - Spain - Seems to be Santander's 3rd choice centre back and has had 2 starts and 1 sub in last 4 games due to Henrique's suspension - seemed to perform well which suggests he will get more game time as and when Torrejon and Henrique are unavailable for any reason - game time in La Liga usually means a healthy rise

18 - 75 - LB - TAGLIAFICO, Nicolas - Banfield - Argentina - Started Banfield's last match and was a sub in the previous match - ever present LB for Argentina in SudAmericano U20 - again a bit of a punt but getting game time at the age of 18 suggests a bright future

  8. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

Cenk Tosun. Made a report on him earlier. Aswell as being a talent' date=' he's also in for a big rise when the turkish ratings come along.[/quote']

Great spot! I was tracking him a while back but hadn't seen that he had moved to Turkey and made such an immediate impact. Cheers

  9. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

Thanks for these - Serero and Armenteros are great finds!

Have just added Juan Manuel Cobelli of Newells Old Boys to the list, rated only 70 bizarrely and getting quite a bit of game time already this season, as well as scoring twice

Keep them coming guys and gals!

    What you think of them?

Great stuff - hadn't realised Reynaldo was doing as well as that. Balbi is a new one on me, and Tsallagov too.

You've got a great midfield developing there - Lanzini, Draxler, Lucas, and Miyaichi are all superb talents in my book. Amat, Clark, Miquel and Varane are all great talents too.

  11. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

These are great - particularly the two Mexicans!! Thanks for sharing

  12. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

Just wanted to let you know that I will keep this thread updated in two ways

    1. Will update the first post for rating changes so that we can see how the players' ratings progress

    2. Will add more risers as and when I find them - I have another three in the pipeline that I am watching closely

  13. Re: Which of these players should I keep?

I think your analysis is very sensible. I would say that those with the best long term potential are Ilicic and San Jose, but it all depends whether you can wait for them to find bigger clubs.

Rondon would be third on my list - has had a great season considering Malaga are rooted to the foot of the table. If they are relegated, he's bound to move to a bigger club and he's still young. But you're right no increase in the short term.

I have Victor in my Gold Championship Aris and I'm keeping him for a while as I bought him when he was rated only 70 and his wages are still really low - so I can afford to keep him and see whether he develops.

    Hope that helps.

  14. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

Thanks - looking through the list, there are a reasonable number of others which haven't been mentioned before on the forums - so may have slipped under the radar in the more competitive game worlds

    Sapetti

    Palomino

    Colazo

    Sene

    Reyes

    Enriquez

    Haciaturov

    Fran Rico

    Sanogo

  15. Re: Bumper bundle of risers

Quite right - but the good news is that all three of them seem to be current first team starters or squad members, so all the signs are that they will get plenty of game time between now and the next ratings review.

  16. Guys and gals

Just wanted to share with you a bumper selection of risers that I am nurturing in my Gold Championship 65 Aris squad. All are aged 23 or under, all will rise next time round and there are some good longer term prospects in here also.
