  1. Re: Adam Thompson - 18 yo, Watford and Northern Ireland Interview with the man of the moment after last night's heroics http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2294490,00.html
  2. Re: Ludovic Sane - Champions League starter for Bordeaux - rated 74!! The upward trajectory continues. Got a +1 to 86 in the last rating changes and is well on the way to getting another rise next time round. First team regular with 19 starts, 2 goals this season for Bordeaux, playing either at RB or CB (may trigger a position change from his current Def/DM). Now also a full international for Senegal - and started their last 2 matches. And his younger brother is starting to make an impression too - Salif Sane, rated 75, has 4 starts for Bordeaux this season, and should get a tidy rise! Having snapped him up when he was rated 74, I am still paying his original wages of £3,650! Hope that's helpful.
  3. Adam Thompson of Watford is one to watch! Just added to the database, rated 75, an 18 year old RB/CB (doesn't turn 19 until 28 September), and seemingly another great product of the Watford Academy. He has had quite a week! On 9 February 2011 he made his debut for the Northern Ireland NT in the 0-3 defeat against Scotland coming on in the 66th minute for Stephen Craigan. Northern Ireland kept a clean sheet while he was on the pitch and Goal.com reckoned he was their best player overall. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/match/57533/northern-ireland-vs-scotland/player-ratings Tonight he made his first league appearance for Watford (yes, he played for the NT before playing in the league for his club!) coming on as a substitute at half time in their match against Preston. He went on to score the equaliser for Watford in the 79th minute earning them a 2-2 draw. I would expect him to get quite a bit more game time for Watford this season. Definitely one to watch. Any Watford fans out there have any more views?
  4. Re: Help with my Siena Don't sell Isco! Future Spanish star, already getting game time for Valencia!
  5. Re: Danish Superligaen 'low'-rated Risers Good work! Some nice risers in there. There may be one you've missed FC Midtjylland Rilwan HASSAN - 19 yo AM/Fwd 75 - 581 mins - should go up to 78 outside chance of 80
  6. Re: English Championship & Super Ligaen risers? This thread has some thoughts about Danish risers - I just looked at the top 4 teams though, there may be some other gems a bit further down the league http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=81188
  7. Re: HELP! any cheap DENMARK risers? Here are a few that will definitely rise FC Kobenhavn Kenneth ZOHORE - 17 yo Fwd 75 - 278 mins - HOT PROSPECT +3 Thomas DELANEY - 19 yo CM 75 - 217 mins - +2 Brondby Michael TORNES - 25 yo GK 75 - 1080 mins - +5 Jens Stryger LARSEN - 19 yo RM/Wing 77 - 1207 mins - +5 Midtylland Erik SVIATCHENKO - 19 yo CB 75 - 802 mins - +5 Rilwan HASSAN - 19 yo AM/Fwd 75 - 581 mins - +3 They will all rise, but I'm not an expert on ratings predictions, so others can comment as to how accurate my predictions will be
  8. Re: Defense Have a look at Loris Nery LB 19 78 - St Etienne Gabriel Silva LB/LM 19 78 - Palmeiras* Borja Ekiza 22 78 CB - Athletic Bilbao Luiz Danilo 19 80 RB/RM - Santos* Sime Vrsaljko 19 80 RB/RM - Dinamo Zagreb Renato Kelic 19 80 CB/RB - Slovan Liberec Lee Addy 20 80 CB/LB - Crvena Zvezda * Get in quick - Brazilian rating changes about to happen
  9. Re: GK 81-83 rated who will rise? Agree - another big talent, another big riser!
  10. Re: GK 81-83 rated who will rise? These are all good risers and good talents for the future also Murara NETO 83 - just signed by Fiorentina and expected to debut for Brazil NT in forthcoming friendly vs France Cabral RAFAEL 82 - Santos, many believe he was their player of the year last season Maksym KOVAL 82 - Dynamo Kiev, first choice at the age of 18, what a talent! Enjoy!
  11. Re: Tolga Cigerci Good news and bad news After 6 successive appearances for Wolfsburg (5 starts and 1 sub) in the Bundesliga, he's gone and broken his metatarsal. However, the German press are saying he should only be out for 6-8 weeks. So hold your nerve, there will be a good short term rise coming (+4 to 80 at least I would guess), but hang on in there. He looks like a great talent for the longer term.
  12. Quick one for you. Tolga Cigerci CM/AM 18 yo rated 76 Has recently broken through into the first team at Wolfsburg. Made his debut with 90 minutes against FC Koeln on 28 November http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/2010/11/30/2238932/turkey-born-prodigy-tolga-cigerci-pleased-with-first and has gone on to start the next three matches. German U-19 international also. Seems like a very interesting prospect and a definite riser also. Enjoy!
  13. Re: Top 5 leagues - Post-Ratings-Analysis Nov 2010 The first post tells you - it's the top 18 players only - so not impacted by lots of young players
  14. Re: any future srikers?? Try Diego Costa of Atletico Madrid
  15. Re: HELP With Swap. I would do this deal. Wellington made a big impact as a Brazilian U17 international and is being talked about as a potential major star of the future. He won't get a rise any time soon though, but he could turn out to be something special if you are prepared to be patient. I know Jose Baxter has got promise, but I haven't heard him being talked about in the same way.
  16. Re: whick GK i should buy Completely agree
  17. Re: 85 - 86 Rising FWD! Diego Costa of Atletico Madrid
  18. Re: young rising rm £1mil Few suggestions for you although not quite in your price bracket Bit cheap Clement Grenier of Lyon - 19 yo rated 75 RM/AM - 112 mins in Ligue 1 so far this season plus a lot of bench time which suggests he will pick up more minutes as the season goes on. French youth international at every age group http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/clement-grenier/profil/spieler_72479.html Bit pricey Femenia Kiko of Hercules - 19 yo rated 80 RB/RM but has been playing RM so far this season so should get a position change. Spanish U-19 international. 8 appearances in La Liga already this season and has been getting good reviews. A riser with a good future. Stergos Marinos of Panithanikos - 23 yo rated 80 RB/RM. 8 appearances in the league plus 4 out of 4 in the Champions League. Made his debut for the Greek NT in October. Is playing occasionally at RM so should keep his position. Sime Vrsaljko of Dinamo Zagreb - 18 yo rated 80 RB/RM. A real star of the future. At the age of 18, has already played 5 times for Croatia U-21 and received a call up to the NT. Ever present for DZ in the league and the Europa League. Tends to play at RB but occasionally RM so should keep his position.
  19. Re: Netherlands - Eredivisie - Only the biggest risers!! Excellent list! Thanks
  20. Re: Villa Youngsters Would be interested in your views on Nathan Baker (19 yo LB/CB rated 72). He played well for England in the U-19 European Championships in the summer. How close is he to breaking through to the first team squad? Will he be going out on loan to get more first team experience? He was on the bench for the Europa League match vs Rapid Vienna back in August but hasn't been seen at all under Houllier. What's happening with him? Cheers
  21. Re: Mathieu Delpierre REP REPLYS He's just come back to the starting line up after a long time out with a knee injury. Too early to say how he will shape up this season. Stuttgart have had a disastrous start to the season however, currently bottom of the Bundesliga. Those two points together point to some risk that he will be able to maintain his rating, but it's still early days. Hope that's helpful/
  22. Re: 21 & Under Playing! Very useful and a great idea!
  23. Re: ***My Div4 team HELP*** There's a few good uns in there - Neto, M'Bohli, Dede, Rugasevic, Kelic, Dembele and definitely Kadlec. Best of the bunch I reckon are Vrsaljko who already has 2 appearances for Croatia U21 at the tender age of 18 and is a regular starter for Dinamo Zagreb, and Sobiech who already has 3 appearances for the Poland NT at the age of 20.
  24. Re: Dm 70-75 You could also try Michael Stephens, 21 year old midfielder for LA Galaxy. He is a 'Mid' only rated 73 (so will cost c£100k) 18 starts and 4 sub appearances so far this season - so I'm guessing he will rise to about 80 Enjoy! http://uk.soccerway.com/players/michael-stephens/97302/ (While we are on LA Galaxy, I'd also recommend Juninho if you need an AM - rated 75, 19 starts this season)
  25. Re: Andrea Bertolacci - Roma's Future Bandiera? Can you double check? According to Soccerway and ESPN (see below) he didn't feature at all against Fiorentina at the weekend (and the result was 1-0 to Lecce not 2-1) - very mysterious?? http://uk.soccerway.com/matches/2010/09/12/italy/serie-a/us-lecce/acf-fiorentina/989970/ http://soccernet.espn.go.com/match?id=304737&cc=5739 I nearly rushed out to buy him, but glad I didn't
