  1. I have a team of half full of oldies to try and survive the first season in the premier with Swansea. Things are going okay we are 14th with a seven point gap to trap door. I was wondering what are the chances of Marco Parolo and Lass Schone keeping their ratings? Also I could buy Kucka and Fazio are they likely to drop or keep?
  2. I feel ya. last season we went unbeaten and still got pipped.
  3. I will update the other leagues as they are reviewed. Also I am working on next seasons lists at the minute.
  4. Markus Schubert of Schalke might be a decent buy. He came in for nine games this season in bundesliga he did let in eighteen goals in them nine games. Also he played one pokal game and conceded one. But with Nubel away to Bayern he could get more gametime next season but I would think it would be as number two to the returnee Fahrmann who was away on loan at Norwich this season. The experience he will have gained in that wee stint as the number one could be the catalyst to bring out decent development in him though and he might force his way to be fist choice pick at some point of the season.
  5. I bought Stuani a few months ago when I took over a small team in the top flight to help stave off relegation. I was just hoping he never dropped before I could sell him. Transfer ban is up and he is getting punted now as I can see a -2. I will replace him with another oldie tho.
  6. What's the thoughts on Christian Stuani? Also of these oldies who has best chance of keeping rating: Higuain 91 Aspas 91 Costa 90
  7. UPDATE: TEN YOUNG PLAYERS TO FOLLOW IN LIGUE 1 THIS SEASON Dimitry Bertaud 21-76 has risen to 78 Eduardo Camavinga 16-76 has risen to 86 Domagoj Bradaric 19-82 has risen to 85 Rayan Ait-Nouri18-73 has risen to 82 Raoul Bellanova 19-73 has risen to 76 Albert Lottin 17 Not on database is now on database @ 73 Jean Lucas 21-82 stayed at 82 Axel Disasi 21-78 has risen to 85 William Saliba18/82 has risen to 85 Bafodé Diakite 18-78 has risen to 82 I took my eye off the ball on the forum for updating this as was busy with real life but tbh a half decent attempt at Frances Ligue 1. Camavinga and Disasi were the two best risers picked from France at the seasons start with Camavinga rising +10 and Disasi +7.
  8. I took over a division 3 club in a forum setup (7046) a few weeks ago. I bought the other three and Tisserand was there already. Thanks mate that is all I needed as you have reiterated my thoughts precisely.
  9. Here we go. Who would you get rid of from these four and why? Marcel Tisserand 27/87 Wolfsburg Marlon Santos 24/87 Sassulo Stefano Denswil 27/87 Bologna Gian Marco Ferrari 28/87 Sassulo
  10. Not sure why there is so much disdain for Milik on here. He has had a decent season. Of the 31 league games this season he has been inured for 9 of them, benched for 2 games. But of the 21 games he has played in league he has scored 10 goals. He also scored 3 goals in for 4 champions league games. That was following on from 17 goals in 35 games last season. Done well over the last two seasons considering he suffered 2 cruciate ligament injuries in the year previous. His goals to games ratio is more than decent and its no wonder the likes of Spurs, Juventus & Atletico Madrid are interested in him. I think his rating is safe. "It's difficult to find someone better than Milik," Gattuso told Sky Sport Italia post-game.
  11. The battle to avoid relegation continues against Brighton who are three points clear of us. Swansea win a hard fought battle with Jefferson Farfan slotting home a second half winner in a game without much goalmouth action. A very welcome three points that tighten things up above us but it is not enough to move us out of the dropzone. We sit in eighteenth place but only three points off Arsenal in eleventh. Tough next five games against Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, West Ham and Arsenal. On the signings front we bring in Jean-Clair Todibo for a club record £4 million.
  12. A team mostly made up of youngsters played Forest Green Rovers. Loan signing Kalulu got his marching orders in the 18th minute on his first start for Swansea yet they took the lead midway through the second half with a goal from Willem Guebbels. FGR battled back and equalized through youngster Joshua Zirkzee. The game went to penalties and Swansea emerged the victors in the penalty lotto setting up a second round tie against Fulham.
  13. Swansea earned themselves a point in a hard fought game with Newcastle United. Both teams managed ten shots but Swansea only had one on target and Newcastle had two. Reina was voted man of the match for Swansea so that probably tells you what kind of game it was. This result combined with others actually dropped Swansea into the relegation zone. Four away games from the next five are what Swansea are facing. FGR (SHIELD) WATFORD BRIGHTON (H) WOKING (CUP) CHELSEA Tough times in Wales as the frailties of the squad are beginning to show. Although in better news the clubs value has risen to £34.7 million (not including loans in).
  14. Four games results to post: First up A painful 1-0 away loss to Bournemouth. Their keeper was the man of the match and but for Rafinha being sent off in the 16th minute I am sure we would have grabbed something there. Next up was a home game in the league where Southampton were the visitors. A cracking game to watch with a 2-2 scoreline. Forgot to change the cup team in so we went with a full side against Sheffield United and PUMPED them 5-0. And last but not least a 3-2 defeat to Leicester was heartbreaking it looked all square until man of the match Vardy put the game to bed and sent the Foxes fans into raptures. As expected we are having to battle to stay just above the dropzone.
  15. Here are some of the images from last night: Yes you guessed it Swansea got their first goal(s) and first point(s) on the board last night with a home win over Crystal Palace. Florentino passes to Stuani who opened the scoring. Gabi slots away a penalty to make it 2-0. A late chipped goal by Petagna wasn't enough to spoil the night as the Swansea fans celebrated throughout the night. Bournemouth up next away!
  16. Swansea sufferer another defeat this time at home against Man City. TBH a 3-0 defeat is not so bad considering Raheem Sterling alone is worth more than the whole Swansea team. Anyhow Onwards and Upwards lets hope we can get our first goal of the season soon preferably against Crystal Palace next. Two new signing have came in. An oldie Nivaldo Jardel 97 rated and a bargain at £1 million. A youngster Marc Tenas for £120k from Atletico Madrid.
  17. Quality stuff. I took my eye off the ball with this thread this season as have been busy with a lot of other things. Hopefully you grabbed a few of the good ones.
  18. Yeah Kev it was there but seems to have locked up again which is a shame. Sorry, there is a problem You do not have permission to view this content. Error code: 2F173/K
  19. I had planned a big post over the weekend before the first game with league clubs value, best player, wage bill etc but being locked out of the thread until today has changed that. Not sure if it has already killed the thread or not. Anyways just a personal club post for now. We brought in young eighteen year old Croatian right back Gregor Gulisija (70) for 380k. First game of the season we went with a 4-3-3 away at Spurs and succumbed to a 1-0 defeat. They had two guys sent off so I am sure we got off lightly although Stuani had a chance late on to equalize but it never materialized. We made a 165k profit from the away game so with our next match being at home against Manchester City hopefully we can bank some decent money from the match.
  20. Still getting same error which is a shame as cant even post after the opening games results.
  21. Swansea have lined up three youngsters to mix in with the oldies we have at the club. First up is Willem Geubbels who cost twenty million euros as a sixteen year old. He has barely played since so a £1.4 million move to Wales has tempted him. Spanish youth Alex Centelles comes in from Valencia for £1.4 Million. He had a decent season on loan at Familicao, he will be a back up left-back. Diogo Leite completes the trio. A young centre-back who will get used this season as cover. At a price of £2.8 million we think he will be able to do a job for us.
  22. A new gameworld has been started EC37500 which has a lot of old forumers and also new members. So a forum thread was started to enhance the setup. A few forumers who haven't signed in for years have tried to add content but are mostly getting met with this blocking error. Please fix this as the setup has just started and it is virtually killing the chance of us having an active forum thread. I have posted in the thread a couple of times but now I am met with the same error. It is frustrating. Here is the forum thread and error. Sorry, there is a problem You do not have permission to view this content. Error code: 2F173/K
  23. The Swansea first team start to take shape as oldies Gabi (90) and Yilmaz (88)) all sign on for the season. With an accepted bid for Moisander (87) also in the works. Swansea also bring in Florentino Luis (85) for a club record £5.2 million. Very pleased to bring in Luis as he has great potential. Starting XI: We have Farfan, Foden & Kana on the bench so far.
