  1. Sadly, all GWs affected by a cheat that has been deceitful for many, many years. He has multiple accounts in all Hat-Trick GWs. He is also active with his multiple accounts throughout lots of other GWs in SM. For more info please PM me. I will not give out any info on here. If I believe you are involved with the cheat then don't even expect a PM back. Regards.
  2. Hi. The best part and most addictive part of SMW is its simplicity. You can pop online to play for 5 mins or for 5 hours. It is almost the ideal football lover's hobby. If you implement too many changes then you'll move away from what SMW is all about. You will effectively create a completely different product.... The whole ratings bobbing about thing means as managers we'll need to do more and that is for Football Manager or your SM single player game, not SMW.
  3. ACADEMY TWO - ID 423571 Number of Clubs: 100 (World) Clubs Taken: 40/100 (40%) Divisions: 5 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 21 (currently) Rating Cap: 73 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World
  4. Your DMC. I forget the numbers
  5. THE ABYSS - ID 422036 Number of Clubs: 60 (World) Clubs Taken: 20/60 (33.3%) Divisions: 3 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 22 (currently) Rating Cap: 82 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World This GW is currently full. 20 managers in division 1 hoping to not be in the bottom 3 come the end of the season; because in divisions 2 and 3 there are only huge clubs of the world. So, basically, managers only have an 82 rated squad at the most, but if they get relegated, it won't be easy at all to get back to division 1; thus falling into the Abyss. A very popular GW atm.
  6. ACADEMY ONE - ID 417092 Number of Clubs: 40 (World) Clubs Taken: 25/40 (62.5%) Divisions: 2 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 21 (currently) Rating Cap: 80 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World Season 1: Only buy the same nationality as your club. GW is capped at age 21 & 80 rating. Squad cap is 40. Stay within 40 players to avoid a sanction. Loans In & Out count towards your cap... Good luck. Season 1 has just completed. This GW is for the absolute long term. We've had a discussion lately, as a GW, to see where we wanted to take the concept; but opinions varied and we had to settle on another season at the same caps (age 21 and 80). We only buy players that are the same nationality as our clubs. The GW is currently full. We cannot fill it to 100% because at age 21 and 80 rating there aren't enough decent players on the database to give all clubs a competitive squad.
  7. GLOBAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE - ID 412080 Number of Clubs: 32 (World) Clubs Taken: 28/32 (87.5%) Divisions: 2 (16 clubs in each) Age Cap: 25 (currently) Rating Cap: None (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World Season 3: the age is capped at 25. Squad cap is 40. Stay within 40 to avoid a sanction. Loaned players In or Out count towards your cap...Good luck. At the very start of this GW ALL clubs sold off ALL their players that were aged 25 and over; then we set the age cap to 23 and began trying to improve our squads in an All Out Bidding War. Each season we've lifted the age cap slightly to allow more external players to enter our market. All 32 clubs are big clubs of the world. The GW is still very young but we're already seeing great battles each turn.... There are 4 clubs currently unmanaged but they are particularly weak and in urgent need of some new direction.
  8. ODYSSEY - ID 406155 Number of Clubs: 60 (English) Clubs Taken: 39/60 (65%) Divisions: 3 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 24 (currently) Rating Cap: 86 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World Season 3: age is capped at 24 & ratings are capped at 86. Squad cap is 40. Stay within the 40 squad cap to avoid a sanction. Loans In & Out count towards your cap. A similar GW to YEAR 2189 but we started the capping a lot lower so as to try and create a GW with a longer life span. So far it is working well and with 65% of clubs managed it is proving to be a popular world. Rivalry is beginning to develop even as early as season 3 so the future looks bright for many more battles. All managed clubs will get stronger season on season but it's the the ones with the best scouting system that may have the edge. Each new season starts with either a bidding war, controlled bidding or a player prize draw. Everyone stays involved.
  9. Indeed but it has still not sorted itself and we're into season 5 now. Man Utd, Everton, Chelsea, Liverpool all in the top division now too. .. My Middlesbrough have gone from twice champions of div 1 to mid-table div 1 because we've just not had the funds to improve enough..... I still enjoy the GW though. Keeps it challenging.
  10. TOUGH AT THE TOP - ID 404298 Number of Clubs: 60 (English, Scottish & Huge World Clubs) Clubs Taken: 27/60 (45%) Divisions: 3 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 23 (currently) Rating Cap: 86 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: Yes (currently, but not next season) Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World SEASON 3: age is capped at 23, ratings are capped at 86. Each club can only sign x5 (FIVE) players that are 83-86 Per Season. No limits on how many players you can buy rated 82 or less. The Squad Cap is 40. Please respect the rules of our GW. It really is Tough at the Top because if you get your average club out of Division 2, then Division 1, full of your Real Madrids etc, is not for the quitter. 3 managed clubs were promoted to D1 at the end of season 1. In season 2, despite some brave efforts, all 3 clubs were relegated back into D2. Currently, only 1 managed club, (Luton Town) is ducking and weaving with the big boys; and although they've had a decent season so far, they could still be relegated.
  11. INFILTRATION - ID 402375 Number of Clubs: 80 (Unmanaged huge world clubs & average managed world clubs) Clubs Taken: 35/80 (43.8%) Divisions: 4 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 26 (currently) Rating Cap: 89 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World Season 4: age is capped at 26 & ratings at 89. The SQUAD CAP is 40. Please stay within the 40 squad cap to avoid a sanction. Loans In & Out count towards your cap...Good luck. All managers have average clubs of the world. We compete against each other and try to compete against the huge, strong unmanaged clubs also. Slowly but surely our managed clubs are getting stronger but no club has yet won Division 1. Division 2 and lower have been won by managers, but D1 remains the Holy Grail at the minute. There are a few unmanaged clubs available but they really need some work.
  12. EVOLUTION - ID 400535 Number of Clubs: 40 (Huge World Clubs) Clubs Taken: 37/40 (92.5%) Divisions: 2 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 21 (currently) Rating Cap: 78 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World Season 4: age is capped at 21 & ratings are capped at 78. The SQUAD CAP is 40. Please stay within the 40 squad cap to avoid a sanction. Loans In & Out count towards your cap...Good luck. Another popular, almost full, game world. We started at age 21 and 75 rating in season 1. Some clubs have excelled and found a lot of good potential, whilst other clubs (mine!) have not fared half as well. But, it's still very competitive. My club got to D1 and are still there, just, in season 4.... Two or three clubs are unmanaged, waiting for a new leader.
  13. NON-LEAGUE INTEGRITY - ID 399936 Number of Clubs: 100 (English) Clubs Taken: 38/100 (38%) Divisions: 5 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 21 (currently) Rating Cap: 73 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World Season 4: age is capped at 21 & ratings are capped at 73. The SQUAD CAP is 40. Please stay within the 40 squad cap to avoid a sanction. Loans In & Out count towards your cap...Good luck. This GW has proved very popular. We all started with non-league clubs in divisions 4 and 5, then we classed divisions 3, 2 and 1 as "The Football League" - so the concept is basically to only recruit players rated 73 or less, then hope that a lot of them do well in real life and get a rating increase.... Only 3 clubs, so far, have ever made it as high as division 2. Two of those clubs were relegated back to division 3 straight away - and one of those clubs is currently trying to stay in division 2. They sit 15th at the moment. There are a few clubs available in divisions 4 and 5.
  14. Hi. My name is Gerry and I run several of our custom game worlds. Below is a list with a brief description of each. Please feel free to apply or to ask questions. YEAR 2189 - ID 393246 Number of Clubs: 60 (English) Clubs Taken: 53/60 (88.3%) Divisions: 3 (20 clubs in each) Age Cap: 26 (currently) Rating Cap: 89 (currently) Squad Cap: 40 Players Concerns: No (NO thank you!) Transfer Windows: No Buying from Unmanaged: Yes (allowed) About this Game World Season 5: age is capped at 26 and ratings are capped at 89. The SQUAD CAP is 40. Please stay within the 40 cap to avoid a sanction. Loans in and Out count towards your cap... Good luck. Many clubs have had the same manager since the GW started, so rivalries have formed in this GW's short history. All the big clubs started in the bottom division and whilst some have climbed out and are now in Division 1, some are still struggling to get promotion due to most clubs being pretty even, ratings wise. The main factor, though, is there are a lot of good managers in this GW. It's is very enjoyable and still has lots of life in it because we're still capped at rating 89!
  15. The economy setting only affects weekly things like TV money and advertising etc, it does not affect end of season prize money. Prize money amounts are given out depending on what clubs are in the GW. So, basically, if you leave all the big clubs out of a GW then the prize money tends to be average to poor..... I have set up many custom GWs and found out the hard way. I once put all the big clubs in the bottom division and all the very best end of season prize money went to that bottom division. I won division 1 and received just 12M. The winners of the bottom division got about 30-40M.
  16. SOT LEAGUE cancelled due to lack of interest. ...Andy Martin therefore wins. :))
  17. Apparently, Paul (is it?) there are going to be some kinds of updates to SMW later this month. Or so I believe.
