  1. Re: WARNING!!!: From 02/02/09 Goalkeepers will be able to get injured!!! Oh dear. All my teams are doomed. I'll have to dish out on 10k Goalkeepers.
  2. Re: Shay Given To Man City. Thats it for City spending this January. The owners didnt want to go over 100million on transfer fees/wages in January. However they did say they would blow the budget for someone such as Kaka. Now with Blackburn wanting around 20 million for Santa Cruz and still refusing to let go, and with City just cashing in on Given, it looks like Man City have been outpriced for Santa Cruz. P.S: (The owners seem a bit uptight. Not wanting to spend over 100 Million in January?? Hehe.) Oh yeah my source was The Mail Football ON SUNDAY (: "BUDGET BOSSES MAY NOT STRETCH TO SANTA CRUZ"

  7. Re: Gozgoz8 rating prediction: ALL PLAYERS FROM ALL COUNTRY!!!(including Youth player I dont agree with this one. Since when do League 1 Players hit 83? If League 1 players were to be 83, Players like beckford would of rised a long time ago. The only players in league 1 atm who are around 83 off the top of my head, are Tunchev of Leicester, whos 84 or 83? Not sure. Jod Lewis will probably get a +1. Cant see him getting +3 when hes with Peterborough
  8. Re: Mark Davies - Bolton Im a leicester city fan and Mark Davies was on loan to us for like a month. I watched him play a couple of times and i have to say he really is Premiership Quality. Bargain buy for 1 million from Wolves. Leicester should of out bidded Bolton though I think he will slot in fine, and could hit 85 if he plays as good for Bolton as he did for Leicester. I rate this guy so much Hes class, shames hes gone to red-head gary megson:mad:
  9. Re: English Championship 2980 Transfer/Gossip Thread Manchester City today cashed in on flops Jo and Vassell. Both of them join Hamann, Benjani, Mills, Ball, Onuoha and Bellamy as the latest players to leave Manchester under Woodwardo's era. Jo who left to go back to his home country Brazil will now play For Sao Paulo as he was very unhappy at Manchester, and leaves for 16.1 Million. Vassell also leaves to a foreign team and joins Millonarios for 6.1 Million. Much to the delight of city fans, Flop Jo makes a quick exit.

  12. Re: English Championship 2980 Transfer/Gossip Thread Man City Latest Man city make it 3 straight wins in English Championship 2980. An impressive performance in a friendly match against Sunderland which ended 6-0 to Manchester City as Sunderland were simply out-classed by Manchester City's Second string team. Just three days after that result, Manchester City had to play Sunderland again, only this time in the league. Manchester City wanted to put things right, and Woodwardo shuffled the team about and came out as 1-0 Winners. And finally just a day after playing Sunderland, Manchester City host Charlton in a friendly Match. Again Woodwardo played his second string team and gave players such as the young Daniel Sturridge, Osbourne, Davies and the recently transfer listed Glauber. Woodwardo again experimented by shuffling the team around, playing yet again, a different formation, and different playing styles, and they still came out as 2-0 Winners. Next time! Vs
  13. Re: Robinho - Will he Drop? I have him for my Man city team. Should i sell him for 35.1 million? I can sign Rossi or Pato, and have 20 mill left over to spend on another winger In the wing i have Simao, Ashley Young, Robben. Do any of you have any suggestions on which winger i should sign to replace Robinho?

  16. Re: English Championship 2980 Transfer/Gossip Thread Man City got of to a poor start to the season. Fulham lined up with the traditional 4-4-2 formation, and Man City played the countering 3-5-2 as expected. After just 5 minutes Massimo AMBROSINI poked the ball past Joe Hart to put Fulham 1-0 Up. After the goal went in Man City started to control the game. Sabrosa SIMAO came closest for city to equalising, after he hit the cross bar. However Man City could not make their possession tell, and up popped Luca TONI on 43 minutes and he skillfully went round the keeper and slid the ball into the back of the net. Half time = Man City 0 - 2 Fulham. It took Man City until the 70th minute to pull one back. Man City Flop Jo came up with the goods scoring twice on the 70th & 79th Minute. However on the 74th minute Andy JOHNSON broke Man City's hearts after he smashed a volley into the top corner. Final Score - Man City 2 - 3 Fulham Fulham Lineup 1. M SCHWARZER 2. F STOOR 3. 18. Re: English Championship 2980 Transfer/Gossip Thread Man City Latest Man City today finally captured the signature of Marcos Senna, and Simao. Man city boss, had this to say: "Im delighted that we managed to sign these two. They will add much needed experience to our team, and with Robinho and Simao down the wings, we look like a team, that even the top 4 should be worried about." Woodward also added that the bid for Rafael Marquez has been accepted by Barcelona. He is yet to complete his medical. Marcos Senna completes his medical Simao expects success. Marquez's experience will shine.
  19. Re: English Championship 2980 Transfer/Gossip Thread Manchester City earlier revealed in a press conference that Zimbabwean Striker, Mwaruwari BENJANI was set to join Hull City on a fee worth 5.3 Million. 20. Re: Who's the best striker in the world atm? Lol whoever voted for rooney is an idiot. Hes so over-rated..
  21. Re: English Championship 2980 Transfer/Gossip Thread Man City Latest Manchester City today revealed they have been allowed to speak to Marcos Senna, Rafael Marquez and Sabrosa Simao. However for these players it seems Manchester City are getting tough competition from Fulham, Bolton & Middelsborough. Woodward, who admitted City are short at the back said he really needs the signature of Marquez, and is prepared to splash out. The same implys for Simao and Marcos Senna. Woodward still dazed of the Muntari deal with Hull, says its vital Senna signs a contract. Rafael Marquez Marcos Senna Sabrosa Simao
  22. Re: English Championship 2980 Transfer/Gossip Thread Man City Latest Today Man City missed out on their top target, Muntari from Inter Milan. Woodward could not believe it, as Muntari chose Hull instead of Man City. Now Woodward has pointed out that he will again go to purchase Marcos Senna. The Man City Board say they will do everything they can to lure Senna to Manchester, despite him saying he will not come to Manchester, but it is ever so likely that the Man City Board will offer him something that he cannot refuse. Sulley Ali Muntari - Would of been great for Manchester. Marcos Senna - On his way to becoming a Man City Legend?
