  1. Re: Available GC Teams (This is NOT a Discussion Thread) Untouched AS Saint-Etienne in GC 175. Still have Zouma, Ruffier, Aubameyang etc. No players sold.
  2. Re: .:Official thread of Gold Championship 179:. Dagenham & Redbridge are set to hopefully reach the play-offs this season. Signed 16 new players in which I'm hoping most of them will rise. Bought 2 80+ players in who are Jay Demerit and Papa Waigo and also managed too get three loans in. Looking good in Dagenham right now.
  3. Re: Official Gold Championship 177 Thread. Hamburger SV 2-1 FC Augsburg Hisato Sato (12) Tomás Rincon (30) Nicolás Anelka (85) Rincon heading in goal on 30 minutes. Change of formation=Change of result for Hamburger SV Hamburger SV finally win there first game of the season with a 2-1 victory over FC Augsburg. After there poor start to the season, Mark changed the formation trying to increase the strength of there defense as too many goals were being let in. And it proved to be the correct decision as they managed to secure there first league win this season. They left it late however as new signing Nicolás Anelka managed to grab all three points in the 85th minute. It looked to be heading towards another draw for the German side but with the help of Anelka, they managed to secure the points and climb to 12th in the table. Hamburger SV have a really difficult game next when they travel to Dortmund to face strong league favorites Borussia Dortmund. Can they keep the momentum going. That remains to be seen.
  4. Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 175:. West Ham United 1-5 Stoke City West Ham brought back to earth, and captain Henry sidelined for three weeks West Ham United's great form has painfully come to an end with a 5-1 thrashing by Stoke City. And to make matters worse, for the second game this season two players have been injured. Mark Noble and captain Thierry Henry both had to be carried off with injuries. Thankfully, Noble will only be out for about three days but Thierry Henry will be sidelined for a minimum of three weeks. West Ham down to sixth with a trip to Southampton next.
  5. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... So I got an offer for Igor Akinfeev of Andriy Pyatov and Ibrahim Afellay. Now at first I was chuffed with the offer thinking it was a really good offer to accept. But then some doubt has creeped in so I was hoping for some opinions. Is it worth it as I don't desperately need Afellay but I could find a place for him if I wanted to, and I would still be getting an 89 GK in return.
  6. Re: .:Official thread of Gold Championship 179:. lol, but I actually don't know what to do first. Never been in the position of having no money and a poor team:confused:
  7. Re: .:Official thread of Gold Championship 179:. I just took over my local Dagenham & Redbridge. First time I have ever really started from scratch with a lower league team. Anyone got any loans please
  8. Re: Official Gold Championship 177 Thread. Drew 2-2 with Bayer Leverkusen which compared to last game is actually a pretty good result. Was 2-0 up though which is slightly annoying but oh well, maybe will get my first win next time:o
  9. Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 175:. Queens Park Rangers 0-1 West Ham United Thierry Henry (12) West Ham's feared striker strikes again and shows why he is still one of the most clinical finishers in the world. West Ham United move up to fourth in the table with a 1-0 win away to Queens Park Rangers. And yet again, it was star signing and new captain Thierry Henry who scored to give them there 5th win in seven games. Who would have thought that newly promoted West Ham could be storming the league and winning so many games which they have no right to win. Even though it is a team sport, one man has consistently performed week in week out and that man's name is Thierry Henry. West Ham went to Loftus Road with a great scoring record. They have many players who have contributed to there goal difference. But the premier league's top goalscorer is a major part of there attack. And Henry showed this on 12 minutes with a long range rocket which flew past ex West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green. With this goal West Ham secured three points which has put them in the top four. Mark Noble also had a good game. He assisted Henry with a intricate pass to set him free. The team has proven that they can hang with almost any team in the Premier League. West Ham welcome Tottenham to Upton Park next which will be one of the closest London Derby game's in a long while.
  10. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... ummm, its a tricky one, gonna have to give it a little more thought. Thanks for everyone's opinions
  11. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Yeah I was swaying towards going through with it. Thanks for the help:)
  12. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Alan DZAGOEV and Gary CAHILL for Jesús NAVAS, I would be getting Navas. What do people think?
  13. Re: Gold Championship 100 Match Reports | Transfers Manged to sign Jaroslav Drobny for £9,000,000 so I have a solid GK now for the upcoming season (as I'm probably going to need it). Can't believe I only got £2,500,000 for getting promoted though. Hasn't gave me too much room to improve to be honest:o
  14. Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 175:. West Ham United 2-1 Manchester City Mohamed Diame (20) Gary O,Niel (33) Ángel Di Maria (55) O'Neil helps West Ham upset a main contender for the Premier League Title. Manchester City have been rocked as West Ham manage to grab all three points to create a huge upset. No one would have expected the home side to even take a point off the billionaires but somehow they managed to create a game plan and carry it out to perfection. This keeps West Ham in fifth place in the table with six games played. Surely they cannot keep up this form for the rest of the season. Before the game, West Ham were given no chance. It was thought that City's power would be way too much to handle for the newly promoted West Ham. But after 20 minutes of football, West Ham's intent was displayed as Mohamed Diame headed in from a beautiful cross from Carlton Cole. Manchester City were shocked and they had no plans of what to do next. But it got worst as Gary O'Neil slid a perfectly curved shot into the bottom corner past Joe Hart. West Ham fans were on cloud nine at this moment because none of them had expected a start like this. However there was a huge scare when Di Maria managed to score for the away side leaving a scared feeling around Upton Park. But the Hammers managed to hold on and secure there fourth win of the season in which was a huge upset. West Ham's next game is away to Queens Park Rangers in which is looking like being a brilliant London Derby.
  15. Re: Official Gold Championship 177 Thread. VFL Wolfsberg 5-1 Hamburger SV OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That hurt:(
  16. Re: Available GC Teams (This is NOT a Discussion Thread) Hamburger SV, GC 142 91x1: Podolski 90x2: Mathijsen, Westermann 89x3: (including Ben Arfa) 11x 88..... Good little team to spend some time on. Plus the interest in Podolski will be high right now
  17. Re: Available GC Teams (This is NOT a Discussion Thread) GC 161: Sporting CP Glen Johnson, Lass Diarra, Nilmar, Moussa Sissoko and 4 more 89's also have a few more youth players too:)
  18. Re: Official Gold Championship 177 Thread. Hamburger SV 1-1 TSG 1899 Hoffenheim Heiko Westermann (1) Kevin Volland (13) After a huge amount of excitement leading up to the first game of the season it unfortunately did not lead up to the hype. Hamburger could only manage a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim, and not a very entertaining one at that. Westermann had gave Hamburg the best start possible with a goal in the first minute of the game. But it was all undone by a Kevin Volland equalizer. And this was pretty much the end of the game. Not an event packed start to hopefully an event packed season.
  19. Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 176:. - Revolution of the Turks - Adam Johnson scored again, he has been a top signing for us scoring in pretty much every game. And olympiacos drew again so we are opening a gap between ourselves and them. Looking good for us right now as long as Adam Johnson keeps his form up:D
  20. Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 175:. Swansea City 2-4 West Ham United Jermaine Jones (9) Mark Gower (18) Thierry Henry (20) Thierry Henry (67) Thierry Henry (79) Scott Sinclair (88) Nolan injured, Diame injured, Reid sent off, the team falling apart...........Enter Thierry Henry Definition of the word "Captain": "A figure in the forefront; a leader". A man who puts the team on his back when they are in the stickiest situations. When two of your main players get injured. When your defender gets sent off. A captain's task is to steer you our of the predicament. And today West Ham captain Thierry Henry yet again steered his team to a 4-2 win away to Swansea City. This win puts West Ham in 5th position, a position no pundit would have ever thought they would be in. And there is one main man who has helped them on there way.... Thierry Henry stole the show again today with a man of the match performance against the swans. Swansea City scored with Mark Gower on the 18th minute to cancel out Jermaine Jones early goal. And then questions were being asked. Will they stumble like they did in mid-week against Everton? Will they be able to regroup? But before they could figure out how to regroup, Thierry Henry quickly dragged the team's spirits up with a thunderous volley on 20 minutes. He then went on a rampage slotting in a typical Thierry Henry goal before finishing off his hat-trick with a perfectly placed penalty. Henry is now the leagues top scorer with six goals in five games and all West Ham fans hope he can keep up the great form for the rest of the season
  21. Re: Official Gold Championship 177 Thread. In-Depth look at a new Hamburger SV era. With the start of the new season just around the corner, manager Mark has never been so excited to get the season underway. Hamburger SV have had there struggles over the last few years but the arrival of a new manager hopefully sparks a new era for Hamburger. With this said, Mark has been in the transfer market bringing in some top talents from around the world. His squad looks promising as he aims for a top-eight finish in the Bundesliga this season. So lets have a look at the starting lineup which will be representing Hamburger for the upcoming season. Goalkeeper René Adler René Adler is a rock-solid keeper who is guaranteed to be reliable. His purchase from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer is a huge boost to Mark's side as he knows that he won't have to worry about buying a new goalkeeper for a long time. Adler has had 10 caps from the German national side which proves that he can hold his own in the toughest leagues around the world. Defenders Luca Antonini, Heiko Westermann ©, Dennis Aogo Well the rumors were true as earlier today Luca Antonini signed for Hamburger for an undisclosed fee. The Italian can play on either side of the defense which makes him a very handy player. The signing of Antonini is a great boost for Hamburger's back line. On the left side of the defense is Dennis Aogo. Aogo was a huge target for many teams over the preseason. The likes of Genoa and Arsenal were some of the team's who were interested in the German international. So it was a huge boost when Aogo made his intentions clear by committing his future to Hamburger, a huge boost to there team morale. And the big man in the center of the defense is captain Heiko Westermann. After there little argument, manger Mark and Westermann managed to make up and agreed on a new 3 year deal for the huge 6 ft 3 inch international. Lets just say that with these three men at the back, goals are going to be hard to come by for the opposition. Midfielders Gojko Kacar Gökhan Tore, David Jarolim, Cheikhou Kouyate, Marcell Jansen With only three starting defenders in the team, the midfield needs to have a balance of defending and attacking players to help both sides of the team out. With David Jarolim, Gojko Kacar and new signing Cheikhou Kouyate, they have some solid defensive players who will help stop the very best attacking players in the world. But with six total defensive players you may think that there attacking options will be damaged. But with Marcell Jansen and wonder kid Gökhan Tore on the wings they have a solid attacking presence which will scare many midfield's. Tore was a target for many teams in the pre-season but manager Mark refused to let him go saying he has a huge future ahead of him. Keeping Tore was a huge boost for this team. Attackers Nicolás Anelka, Artjoms Rudnevs To finish the starting eleven, Hamburger have two class forwards in which can help the team score many goals and hopefully win many games. New signing Nicolás Anelka will be partnered with last seasons top scorer Artjoms Rudnevs to create a frightening attack which will challenge even the best defenses in the world. Anelka was signed from Shanghai Shenhua after a short stay in Shanghai. With a world class player like Anelka, Hamburger are ready to score goals in the season ahead. And Mark is also hoping that Rudnevs will keep his form from last season and have have a great campaign for Hamburger. The first game of the season is at home in the Imtech Arena with over 57,000 expected to turn up. All the fans and the players are hoping that the team can make the best start of the season possible, by earning all three points.
  22. Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread Pogrebnyak last season had concerns that he was not playing enough games. So I got it back to normal and this season I loaned him out. Now he is playing games but concerned about being loaned out. He really needs to make his mind up:(
  23. Re: Official Gold Championship 177 Thread. Put in a cheeky bid for Miccoli. I don't think the Palermo manager is on the forum because if he was I wouldn't of made it as he could come on and slate me:D:p.
  24. Re: Official Gold Championship 178 Thread Bologna trade unhappy Ramirez for Spanish Powerhouse Negredo When Gaston Ramirez made his intentions clear, manager Mark was left with a huge predicament. Does he stick with his star player and hope he changes his mind. Or sell Ramirez and look for something the team needed, a target man. Well the latter was chosen and Mark managed to bring in Spanish international Álvaro Negredo. As Bologna are not the strongest team in the Italian league, they needed a player who they could kick the long ball up to and know that he could hold it up. And that's where Negredo comes in. Negredo was recently in the Spanish team which conquered Europe in Euro 2012. So this shows that he can hold his own in the best team in the world. And with him being the new star man, its certain that he is going to have a bright future at Bologna.
  25. Re: Official Gold Championship 177 Thread. Rumor spreading that Luca Antonini is having a medical at Hamburger SV About one hour ago an image bombarded the internet of Luca Antonini in his car exiting a training ground. Now this is just a part of everyday life. Players enter and exit training grounds on a regular basis and this picture is no different from others taken. But it was not until the location of the original up-loader of the picture was investigated that the rumors started. This picture was taken in Hamburg, Germany. And we all know that Luca Antonini is a Milan player. So can this mean Antonini was having a medical at Hamburger SV. If he was having a medical then Hamburger are on the brink of gaining a top player in Luca Antonini.
