Re: What SM Will Not Like Me Posting
I am inclined to agree. I would prefer SM to interact with the community more, but if they are unwilling to do so they need to stop dressing it up like we are involved when they have for some time been distancing themselves and been unaccountable for anything they do.
I would be mortified if SM did actively and publically separate themselves from the community as other gaming companies often do, so clearly this is not my preferred choice.
I simply don't see that interacting more would be that hard, so don't think SM can reasonably justify otherwise. You mentioned duking it out over the 7000 comments about Rooney, but there really is not that many queries via support that SM receive on ratings. I always get the impression SM would love everyone to believe otherwise.
There have been about 14,000 tickets since September on all topics. Thats about 50 tickets a day. Surely even if 50% of these were ratings related (which is beyond generous as an estimate) then SM can handle 25 tickets. Each rating query can only take a few minutes to answer so thats like one hour a day divided by the entire SM staff....If they actually have experts reviewing ratings then where is the hardship in having these people respond, if it takes a few minutes a day out of their supposed expert reviews?
After my last reply on this ticket (on my first post), I got the response saying 'No problem, pleased to be of assistance'.
I mean, come on SM, get a clue...

Milton Keynes Dons FC. NEWS Update.

The Dons' went to Swansea City yesterday, and came home with a heroic point to go onto their tally this season, with new striker Teddy Sheringham on great form. With the Dons' sitting safely in 8th position in Division three and striding for a promotion the club are very happy with the point away.
The Liberty Stadium as shown below is a hard place to play at when you're the outsiders, as the attendance of 12,260 showed.

The score at the Liberty yesterday:
    Swansea City. AFC-1
    Darwin CAICEDO (23)

    Milton Keynes Dons. FC-1
    Silva VITOR JUNIOR (16)

    MoM:
Darwin CAICEDO - Swansea City AFC.
    Possession:
Swansea City AFC: 56%---->44% Milton Keynes Dons FC.
    Referee:
    Craig Thomson
After the game we managed to sneak a quick interview with MK Don's Manager Scott Grainger:
What do you think of todays performance, Scott?
"I believe we showed them what we're all about, we played at the top of our game, and managed to sneak a point at one of the toughest places we'll go to this season."
Did you enjoy the experience at the Liberty Stadium, and what do you think will happen back at home when you play them next?
"I loved it here, it was a fantastic game, but I believe that we can beat them at home, no doubt about it."
Finally Scott, as new manager at the Dons' do you believe you can bring this club up to a respective position?
"Rubbish, we're in the football league, this is a respective position as it is... but we'll be up with the top dogs within a few seasons, watch this space."
    Milton Keynes Dons' next match:
Southend United FC, AWAY at Roots Hall.

Ivory and Ghana announce a new manager at the post: Scott Grainger. I'm very proud to over take this position at such a prestigious club, and I believe I can make the best squad possible with the side available for me at Chelsea/Ivory and Ghana . I plan to sell the following players:
    LAMPARD, Frank
    COLE, Joe
    TERRY, John
I will accept the offers that come available, and I plan to bring in some young
Ivory and Ghana stars in the near future.
    Thanks,
    Scott Grainger

To cut a long story short, of recent, i've been browing the SM Forums again, and getting ready to boost up my post count after a long break away from the P.C itself, and every aspect involving this game/forums.
I come on, for what... 5 minutes, and I find two idiotic posts created by immature people who must be pretty pathetic and have some real life issues. I'm rather sickened by what's happened to the forums to be honest, yes, it's improved admittedly, but for the greater or the worse? That's what i'm trying to work out. SoccerManager has came a long way, and I've enjoyed the majority of the new features and additions that has been brought into play, but at the end of the day, more additions, the more people join, thus bringing more to the forums posting total bull every minute of every day.
For those of you who have been on the forums for a long time, and have alot of good reputation amongst those who have been playing the game, I salute you, but to those who think it's clever and great of themselves to post this absolute rubbish, those of you whom read this post, i'm NOT going to name any names, as this would cause even more attention to those who know they are doing it.
Those whom do think that it is funny to abuse others for trying to help, or making idiotic posts about absolute rubbish, please walk away now. I've been on the forums, for a LONG time, and i've never seen such spam on a football management game forum.
Ok, that's all i've got to say really... so just lay off and chill when on the forums, think about what your post really comes off accross to other people, think about what they think about you, because those of you who do think it's funny to spoil a forum, you do realise that you're spoiling the games reputation for new members and spoiling it for us veterans.
Cheers, and I'm off on that note - and for those who are good posters and are actually here because it's a game, i'm truely sorry, i'm just very offended by these idiotic brats' and their actions.
