    ‘Joe Gomez suffers potential serious injury while training on International duty’
    From Sky sports news.
    Bad news for Liverpool, their defence is getting decimated.
    From an SM POV good news for managers out there who have Rhys Williams or Nathaniel Phillips.

    Toby S reacted to jaybee in Ligue 1 Players to watch 2020/21
    I thought I'd start this thread in terms of players to watch in Ligue 1 this season. It is mainly under 21 players or low rated players who are playing and could get reasonable rises. I will aim to update after each game week.

    I will only add players once they have actually played this season. Feel free to suggest other players who are over the age of 21 but low rated.

    The promoted teams like Lorient and Lens have players to watch for such as La Fee and Medina in particular who are both highly thought of.

    Gouiri one in particular to watch as was rated highly when came through at Lyon. He's now got a move to Nice and has scored twice on his first league game for them.

    Up to and including games from Sunday 22nd November

    Keep Curtis Jones, should get a small rise in the next review. Obviously a hot prospect too.
    Yes, I would say he’s been Atleti’s best performer behind Joao Felix.
    Sell David Neres + Modric for Felix 👍
    Wesley Fofana, give it a year or 2 and he will be getting sold for 60/70 million to an elite club in Europe.
    It also good to point out that Leicester City have previous in this with the development of Maguire, Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez who they all sold on for good profit.
    Harry Maguire - Bought for: 12 mil - Sold - 80 mil
    N’golo Kante - Bought for: 8 mil - Sold - 32 mil
    Danny Drinkwater - Bought for: 800k - Sold - 35 mil
    Riyad Mahrez - Bought for: 450k - Sold - 60 mil
    Transfer values all based from Transfermarkt.co.uk

    Sven Botman - 83 -> 86 (2.4 million)

    Maxence Caqueret - 83 -> 85 (3 million)
    Jude Bellingham - 82 -> 85 (4 million)
    Ben White - 85 -> 86/7 (3 million)
    Kalvin Phillips - 85 -> 86 (2.8 million)
    Chieck Doucoure - 82 -> 85 (2.8 million)
    Gio Reyna - 80 -> 85 (2.8 million)
    Pedro Neto - 85 -> 86/7 (5 million)
    Alexis Saelemakers - 83 -> 85 (3 million)
    Rhian Brewster - 82 -> 83/4 (2.8 million)
    Daniel Podence - 87 -> 88 (5 million)?
    Luiz Araujo - 86 -> 87 (4 million)
    Tariq Lamptey - 82 -> 85 (2.8 million)
    Marash Kumbulla - 85 -> 86 (5 million)
    Jeremy Doku - 82 -> 85 (2.8 million)
    A few off the top of my head that I think could rise in the winter review.
    Cheaper options:
    Romain Faivre - 77 -> 82 (700k)
    Max Kilman - 78 -> 82 (400k)
    Sinaly Diomande - 73 -> 78 (300k)

    Yvan Neyou - 76 -> 80 (320k)
    Loic Bade - 73 -> 80 (300k)
    Some values might be off but it should be near enough right 😊
    ? Symbol is that I’m unsure about Podence rising to 88 but I do really like him and think he’s a really good player at Wolves.

    Rayan Ait-Nouri (19) settled into life well at Wolves, scored after 18 minutes on his debut and becomes the youngest player ever to score in the Premier League for Wolves.
    Wolves have a brilliant young LB on their hands!
    Max Kilman (23) great CB who gives Wolves back three balance with him being left footed on the left hand side of Coady.
    Kilman has started the last 4 games for Wolves and this is their record:
    Wolves 1-0 Fulham 🔒
    Leeds 0-1 Wolves 🔒
    Wolves 1-1 Newcastle United
    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace 🔒
    10 points from 12 and unbeaten with Max Kilman in defence. Another great buy from an SM perspective aswell.
    SM rating - 78 (early prediction / 78 -> 82)
    Value - 400k 😳

    Think i've quoted and liked everyones comment who gave an opinion so thank you.
    For clarification I would be giving cash + sancho + goretzka for mbappe. The duo are in my first XI and if all things go well will both be 93 by end of the season (and sancho is a huge goalscorer and assist merchant for my team)...but then Mbappe is Mbappe, likely to be the highest rated player on SM eventually and would be my striker for the rest of time.
    Really not easy as its the biggest transfer i've ever considered and would ever likely do. I don't need the cash but the other manager has asked for those two players specifically.

    Which decent Forward's are available for you to replace Moussa Dembele with?

    Jamie who?....... 😀   🤔 Oh, you mean Stocksbridge's 21 year old Jamie Vardy, where Vardy, fresh from rejection by Sheffield Wednesday, arrived at 16 and soon showed he would not be daunted by anything. “At 17 he played a local cup final in Penistone, and the opposition, a village side, decided they were going to try and sort him,” Bethel recalls. “They tried to stop him physically for most of the game but he got up after every tackle. That convinced me he had the attitude even though he could be a bit of a naughty boy. It didn’t faze him. Stocksbridge, an old steel town on the edge of the Peak District, By the age of 21, Esteban Cambiasso, another City player who made his Premier League debut on Sunday, was a full Argentine international; Vardy, by contrast, had three years in Stocksbridge’s second team in Sheffield’s County Senior League and the unwanted distraction of an assault charge (a bust-up in a pub). 🚨 👮
    It's from an online article I was reading from The Independent - it must be outdated.
      Currently In SM terms Lucas Hernandez sounds like the better option: plays for the more dominant side, is higher rated and can even slot in at CB.

    And, for him to play well as Kimpembe has been doing.
    He has enough talent to hold his rating for the next few years. And, I doubt the duo will go up in their current rating anytime soon.

    Depends whether u need depth PLUS BIG CASH. Think the offer is generous tho, probably most managers would accept this for Mbappe BUT if U already have a top team and plenty of Cash - YOU WOULDN'T!

    Generally speaking it's a good deal, for me it would depend on the importance of cash and the depth of your team. Mbappe is one of a kind and the most talented out of the three, but the players offered are generous replacements and if the money gives your club a good boost, it's an excellent deal. So rationally it's a good deal to accept unless you're club already has plenty of depth, emotionally it depends on how much you value having potentially the best player in the world in your team 😉

    If Jorginho was an option as a straight swap or with just a bit of cash I'd probably take him as thats a +4 to your midfield and I imagine he'll keep his rating. I don't think anyone else is worth it personally, but if you're happy keeping JPH then do that as he's only going to increase in rating.

    I presume you already have a better-rated first team GK than these two GK's?
    Therefore, I would sell both of them, unless you want to wait till the end of the season for Gollini to get a (hopeful) +1.
    I've based the number ranking on their age, current rating, individual performance average, team's table position, and the potential of a winter and/or summer rise.
    I used the .5 numerical because of the difficulty in answering the question.

    Just throwing some names out there Skov, A. Masuka, B. Kamara (not primarily a LB), B. Toure, Y..Atal, F. Mauossa.
    So VDB retired as Spain manager back in 2016, only to join SM on a more life-term basis...😀
    I'd only be inclined to accept the cash offer once you've compared (in your GW) the average performance rating of the 89 replacement GK with Jan Oblaks. And, if the money can be used to strengthen your current back line/any other positions that can be made stronger.
    Very good point!
    About time!
    I would sell Aguero - as this season could be his last at city, and from then on he will only decline.
    The Belgian Beast - Romulu Lukaku can hold a strong rating for a good time.
    Having said that, I would still go for Auba duba doooo! because he can additionally play on the wing as well.

    Thanks for your replies everyone, the players mentioned are ones that aren't currently owned by a manager so their goals/game isnt that good as they usually have poor players around them, although I remember Auba being a goal machine for a managed team a couple of seasons ago. Yeah I'm not too bothered by the cash loss if Aguero were to go down as like SW19 said i can make it back in a good cup run.
    Auba is a good choice @Kieran_S91 because of the wing options you're right there too
    This hasn't made my decision any easier haha, I'm going to keep Aguero for a little bit and mull it over as I need to purchase a defender too
