1. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Pleased to see Zouma, Willian and Cuadrado start although bit surprised to see Oscar not even making the bench, is he injured?
2. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Chelsea are expected to line up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation: Cech; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry ©, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic; Cuadrado, Willian, Hazard; Remy. Subs: Courtois, Filipe Luis, Cahill, Ake, Fabregas, Loftus-Cheek, Drogba.

4. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Bit surprised he's picked Remy over Drogba.
5. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Delaney's an idiot.
6. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread That's one of the most ridiculous refereeing decisions I've ever seen.
7. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread We'll see, it was between Shaw and Enner Valencia and a £27 mil signing is a far more interesting prediction than a £12 million one.

9. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread I guess so, particularly with him having children which live in England as well as Christine Bleakley working here as well. Gives him time to work out a viable solution before he heads off to New York. Still going to be weird seeing him in a City shirt...
10. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Australia could've been an option, City have a team there too.
11. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Comparing Lukaku to Drogba isn't really fair, if Lukaku was willing to play as a second choice striker then he would have stayed. As it stands however, Lukaku only has 2 years remaining on his current deal and won't sign a new contract, with Diego Costa signed as the main striker our only real option is to sell Lukaku or risk losing him for nothing in two years time if not for a vastly reduced fee next summer. Lukaku should have been made first choice striker last season, that should have been his chance, but he was loaned out and given the sums the club has spent building a world class team it makes sense that the club isn't willing to gamble on Lukaku, seeing Costa as a far safer bet. We're also playing now, 2-0 against Vitesse.
12. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread It was harder than it looked ' date=' plus that's why we have Costa now . He also did this which more than makes up for it [center']"]
13. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Me too, I'd like to see them in a 4-3-3 together along with Matic. It might not work and lead to us being too open but I'd like to see Mou try it.
14. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread 2-1 in the end. Poor first half, Fab didn't work as a DM and we were way too exposed. Much better second half until the raft of subs at 70 mins, we scored twice and should of had a third bar an incorrectly disallowed goal before the subs. Really hope Fabregas starts the next game either in the 3 of a 4-3-3 or as the AM in a 4-2-3-1, the team had a much better balance to it once Van Ginkel was on the pitch and Fab was pushed further forward. Costa scored a lovely goal as well, great ball from Febregas and Costa finished wonderfully.
15. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Interested to see how Fab does in a deeper position alongside Matic, personally I'd rather he started in a 4-3-3 with a greater emphasis on attacking.
16. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Chelsea are expected to line up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation: Delac; Azpilicueta, Cahill ©, Zouma, Luis; Fabregas, Matic; Salah, Boga, Brown; Costa Subs: Cech, Ivanovic, Ake, Terry, Christensen, Chalobah, Van Ginkel, Romeu, Baker, Swift, Solanke, Bamford, Torres. Kick off at 4:15pm BST. Really excited to see both Costa and Fab start for the first time .
17. Re: Official World Cup 2014 Thread Honestly I don't know too much about the new players they've got coming through (bar one or two like Maher and Van Ginkel)and I guess four years is a long time for them to develop. Wouldn't be surprised if they struggled still, it'll be a lot of players first World Cup in 2018 and there's obviously no guaremtees that they'll develop into class players.
18. Re: Official World Cup 2014 Thread Agreed. I'm guessing that they're logic was to get Vlaar to take the first penalty as it carries the least amount of pressure and then save their proper penalty takers for the other 4 where the pressure mounts.
