  1. Re: Official Manchester City Thread It depends on how much weight you put on the League Cup, a lot of clubs don't really take it seriously and whilst I personally value it, I understand the view that some people take that it isn't a major trophy. Our lead looks much greater than it is, whilst I'd much prefer to be in our position than Man City's, if they win their 3 games in hand they'll go above us, although this season that is hardly guaranteed. The CL is going to be tough, trying to claw back a 0-2 deficit against Barca at the Camp Nou is exceptionally difficult for ay team, even one with as much quality as Man City's.
  2. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread It's all over at 4-0. Wonderful result thanks to Tottenham's incredible implosion.
  3. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread lol's all round , I always thought Tottenham hated us but judging by the goals they've given us today, now I'm not so sure...
  4. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread lol 4-0.
  5. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread 3-0! Fantastic play from Oscar but I don't know what Sandro is doing.... he seems to fall onto the ball, directing it towards Ba who finishing with aplomb.
  6. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread How was that not a foul and second yellow...
  7. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Thought Eto'o was offside but... Kaboul catches Eto'o which results in a red card and a penalty. Hazard, as cool as always from the spot, 2-0 .
  8. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread ETO'OOOOOOOOOOO Vertonghen slips and his recovery only sends an awful back pass which falls to Eto'o. Superb finish from Samual, 1-0 .
  9. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread There's your yellow .
  10. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Oscar on for Lamps.
  11. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread What a dreadful first half, Tottenham are dominating us. Big changes need to be made at half time, I'd take off Lamps and Schurrle and put on Willian and Oscar, hopefully that'd restore some control to midfield.
  12. Re: Official Arsenal Thread You can't reject a release clause if it's met, the main reason Liverpool didn't get the deal done is because they left it far too late.
  13. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread We were poor in the first half but fantastic in the second, Schurrle took his goals superbly and Hazard was outstanding in the second half. 3-0 and 4 points clear .
  14. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Chelsea are expected to line up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation: 1 Petr Cech; 2 Branislav Ivanovic, 24 Gary Cahill, 26 John Terry ©, 28 Cesar Azpilicueta; 7 Ramires, 21 Nemanja Matic; 14 Andre Schurrle, 11 Oscar, 17 Eden Hazard; 9 Fernando Torres. Subs: 23 Mark Schwarzer, 3 Ashley Cole, 4 David Luiz, 12 John Mikel Obi, 8 Frank Lampard, 22 Willian, 19 Demba Ba.
  15. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Given how the game panned out, it's disappointing that we didn't win that. Saying that, I would've taken that before the game and I'd still fancy us at Stamford Bridge.
  16. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread 1-0, Torres with the goal . Superb team goal, Azpilicueta's run and pass were superb though.
  17. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Chelsea are expected to line up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation: 1.Cech; 2.Ivanovic, 24.Cahill, 26.Terry ©, 28.Azpilicueta; 7.Ramires, 8.Lampard; 22.Willian, 17.Hazard, 14.Schurrle; 9.Torres Substitutes: 23.Schwarzer, 3.Cole, 33.Kalas, 12.Mikel, 11.Oscar, 19.Ba, 29.Eto'o Luiz must have an injury as he doesn't even make the bench, Scurrle comes in for Oscar and Torres for Eto'o. Can't wait for the game.
  18. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread Colossal result for Norwich, really want them to stay up.
  19. Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread What a fantastic yet fortuitous win . We improved massively in the second half, great free kick from Lamps at the death.
