  1. Re: English Championship 106 - Transfer/Gossip thread Hull City Latest News Southend United 4 Hull City 2 Hull City continued their miserable run in the league on Saturday with a 4-2 defeat against Southend United. The first half was dominated by Southend as they went 3-0 up by half time. Hull played much better in the second half but their efforts were in vain. "Our defending in the first half was a nightmare to watch to be honest. Going 3 goals down was always going to be hard to come back from. But to their credit my players had a good go, we dominated the second half of the game and were unlucky to come away with a defeat in the end." Transfer News Hull City were busy again this week in the transfer market. After capturing the loan signings of Ivan Marcano and Reginal Goreux from Preston North End they also signed four more players on permant deals. John Kennedy was signed from Celtic in a swap deal which saw Mark Prettenthaler move to Celtic Park. Yohan Benalouane joined from Saint-Etienne in a part exchange deal for £450,000 plus George Makaridze. Sammy Clingan was signed at a cost of £1.4m in free agent signing on fees and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was signed from Dijon FCO for £1.7m. "I'm delighted that the chairman was able to sign the players I wanted. We now have a 22 man first team squad with cover in every position. I'm very pleased with the players we have signed, they are young and improving. Kennedy and Clingan are talented squad players who have a good chance of pushing for a first team place. Benalouane and Aubameyang are both exciting young prospects."

Season 1 Division 4 Champions Season 2 Division 3 Champions Current Squad This is the complete squad including youths
  4. Re: Biggest Upcoming Risers Revisited (2008/09) Does anybody know if Franco Zuculini is due for a positional change? He's currently a RM/CM on SM but all the information that I can find about him describes him as a box to box central midfielder. Probably answers my own question, but still, anymore information on Zuculini would be appreciated.
