  1. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Dom Latouche All managers are listed at the bottom of the Opening Post with their forum links
  2. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread 100% decided on one main target and will go all out to get him but after that I really don't know. Most important positions are DM and CM so will definately fill them first. After that I'll be looking to replace Jonny Evans, John O'Shea, Darron Gibson and Michael Owen at some point.
  3. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Match Reports/Transfer News Thread Manchester United Sign Gregory Van Der Wiel Dutch international right back Gregory Van Der Wiel has completed his move to Manchester United from Ajax Amsterdam in a deal which sees Bulgarian hitman Dimitar Berbatov moving to the Netherlands in exchange. Manchester United have also agreed to allow Chris Smalling to join Danny Welbeck at Ajax on loan for a season with the option of a second season as part of the deal. Gregory Van Der Wiel is considered to be one of the most talented right backs in the world and his arrival at Old Trafford has been met with approval by the Manchester United fans. With Brazlilian youngster Rafael also competing for the right back position 31 year old Wes Brown is now deemed surplus to requirements and has been informed that he will leave after spending 19 years at the club.
  4. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Ok guys, thanks for your input as always Jor's post hit the nail on the head for me in that it's impossible to make it perfect for everyone. No matter what time or date I set I'm sure somebody will miss out. For that reason we'll stick with Saturday 9th July 10am GMT. Racky, thanks for your ideas mate but imposing a club limit at this stage wouldn't be all that fair I don't think as some managers have been planning their attack on externals for a few days now. My apologies to those who can't make Saturday but I'm sure there will be a lot of decent talent still available and I'm taking a guess now but I don't think bids will get accepted until possibly Sunday 5am GMT. 31/100 is a little dissapointing of course but numbers were always going to be modest considering my admission policy. But on the positive side we have some very talented managers and fantastic people here and I feel very privilaged to have you all compete in my creation. I can see some fierce battles developing and some interesting stories waiting to develop
  5. Re: The Ultimate SM Championship Taken over Toulouse I think we're all but relegated and the squad needs a lot of attention. I believe we have the lowest squad value and lowest average rating at the moment. The club is in safe hands now though and I'll expect the clubs fortunes to improve for the better although it will take some time. Expecting a very tough ride in division 2 next season.
  6. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Sorry Jooles, honestly hadn't thought about letting go of Berbatov until I was alerted to the availability of Van Der Wiel.
  7. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Nice warm up match tonight for United with a comfortable 5-0 victory against Feyenoord. Looking forward to the first league game of the season against Atletico Madrid
  8. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Didn't actually agree to that part hence the question mark in the PM I sent you but as we obviously got our wires crossed a little I will honour that part of the deal Very happy as I only play one up front so Hernandez can move up the pecking order now as the main cover for Rooney. Got plenty of cover for Smalling's absence and I can now get rid of Wes Brown with Van Der Wiel and Rafael competing for the right back position. Need to sign in a DM and CM next but looking to bring them in from externals. I have 2 prime targets in mind and very nervous about how the bidding war will go for them on the weekend.
  9. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Shut it club hopper I've got 7-8 noted down down at the moment
  10. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Sneaky No mate, treating them the same as externals.
  11. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Dammit, there's always one ain't there I'll consider adjusting it. What's the latest time you can bid on your targets before you go away?
  12. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Ok Jor' date=' honest mistake mate. [b']External Players Announcement[/b] The ban on external players will be lifted on Saturday 9th July at 10am GMT
  13. Re: EC2933 Discussion thread- JOIN THIS FABULOUS SETUP! Great start at Crystal Palce as we beat Hull City 2-0 with goals from Misimovic and Mariano. Move up to 3rd and face rock bottom Ipswich Town next
  14. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Right, think I've caught up with job offers now. Just waiting for Jor to confirm what club he wants as Atletico have gone. Also got a friend request from Neil Patrick Harris but struggling to match it up with any VM's or PM's. Whoever you are contact me please. If I've missed anyone else PM me and I'll sort you out straight away. External Transfers Glad to see we all seem to be on the same page regarding externals. Will have a think about it and announce a decision shortly. Considering Saturday/Sunday at the moment if people are happy to wait that long.
  15. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Not this time.
  16. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread What are peoples thoughts concerning externals? Currently we can bid from 10PM GMT tonight. Everyone happy with that or are we prepared to have a little more patience?
  17. Re: IEFA European Masters Championship Discussion Thread Back from work now. Was lazy this morning so had to finish later Anyone waiting for a response to PM/VM I'm working through them now
  18. Re: EC2933 Discussion thread- JOIN THIS FABULOUS SETUP! Thanks mate Well I gave you my word I'd join shortly. Checked out of curiosity who was available and noticed Palace and thought why not. They have a couple of players I really like in Viviano and Sandro so very happy. Most of the squad is transfer banned until mid/late August so I'll be on the look out for some loans in the meantime in the form of a right back and two central midfielders. Not too bothered about rating as they will just be providing cover. If anyone has something that can help me out please get in contact. Cheers
  19. Re: EC2933 Discussion thread- JOIN THIS FABULOUS SETUP! The Crystal Palace chairman has appointed Ian Eltringham as the clubs new manager... Ian Eltringham has become the new Brazil manager...
