  1. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Manchester United dropped a couple of points against Fiorentina tonight. Was expecting a routine victory so not happy with the result. We need to win two of our remaining fixtures to secure the title: Arsenal (A) Roma (H) FC Porto (A) Juventus (H) Real Madrid (A) Barcelona (H) No more talk of the title now until it's been decided as I feel like I'm cursing myself whenever I mention it
  2. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread That's insult to 10/11 year olds who are in general able to display at least a reasonable level of maturity and intelligence the majority of the time He's an attention seeker. Best to just ignore him
  3. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Manchester United leave the Allianz Arena with all 3 points after beating Bayern 4-2 on the night with goals from Berbatov, Nani and Scholes. Great performance and delighted with the result. We are now 15 points clear of 2nd place Barcelona Barring a major catastrophe the division 1 title will be heading to Old Trafford this season. As Mike said the job is almost done. If Barca were to win all 7 of their remaining games which looks unlikely considering their recent form we would need 2 wins and a draw to ensure we get both hands on the trophy. We are not celebrating just yet though as there are no easy games in this league and plenty of opportunities to come where we can drop points. Shame to see Kaz leave considering what a superb job she was doing at Rapid Wien. At least there are some very strong foundations at Rapid for another great manager to build on. Also nice to see Hamburg move up to 3rd place in their debut season in division 1
  4. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Manchester United beat Milan 2-1 with goals from Berbatov and Ferdinand. The victory improves our edge over 2nd place Barcelona to 12 points. Delighted wth Berbatov's goal scoring form after his poor show last season. Next up we travel to Bayern Munchen who knocked us out of the SMFA Cup. They thrashed us 3-0 on our last visit to the Allianz Arena so I'll be hoping for a much improved performance on Saturday. Transfer News: James Tavernier and Jordan Mutch have been added to the youth squad. We also have accepted bids on Vincent Pajot and Nathan Delfouneso. Pajot will definately been joining but Delfouneso probably won't as Aston Villa also have a bid accepted for him.
  5. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Manchester United beat Villarreal 3-1 on Saturday night with goals from Rooney x2 and Nani. Next up we face Milan. A bit of transfer news: Free Agent Dan Burn is on his way to the Manchester United youth squad for the bargain price of £8,000
  6. Re: New World Championship My GM is expiring so will be looking to join a few more standards. Count me in
  7. Re: World Championship 10000 available jobs thread Club America are free now. Fenerbache, Fiorentina and Sampdoria are on offer.
  8. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Manchester United share the points with Zenit after a goalless draw at the Petrovskiy Stadium. Usually a tight game for us. Good news is that the teams below (namely Barca) failed to close gap. Getting to the business end of the season now with just 10 games to go. We're 6 points clear at the top but I don't want to post too much about our progress in case of jinxing ourselves Congrats to Bayern for kicking us out of the SMFA Cup. Destroyed 3-0 in the first leg and we couldn't quite recover enough in the second
  9. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread That's about as helpful to me in this WC as handing me a fork to eat soup Back to 10000 Reported the Sanchez transfer this morning and just updated the ticket. Hopefully SM put things right at Udinese
  10. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Fantastic! Thanks for letting me know, back to level 1 and panic over
  11. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Manchester United beat Hamburger SV 3-1 in a dominant performance at Old Trafford. Carrick, Berbatov and Rooney with the goals. Both Barcelona and Manchester City drop points to complete a very good night indeed for United
  12. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread I hope it's a bug but I don't know. I'll have to wait until next week for SM to respond to my ticket. Concerns for Antonio Valencia: Level 1: 20th May Level 2: 24th/25th May?? (Deleted message) Level 3: 27th May Needless to say Valencia is in the starting lineup for tonights game against Hamburger SV.
  13. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread I might have agreed with you had I not read stories like this and this. He comes across as daft but I'm actually starting to like him
  14. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Well Landon Donovan has been removed by the SMFA now and all deals reversed. Bayer Leverkusen are now on offer. Great news, well done lads
  15. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Blewdy vultures A real big fan of his and would love to keep him so fingers crossed it is just a bug. Looked back, he went to level 1 on Friday 20th May and has moved up two levels this week, hitting level 3 today. But if I have to sell him then I'll have to deal with it I suppose. Hoping SM deal with my support ticket in a timely fashion. In the mean time, if Valencia hits level 4 then I'll be looking to sell him immediately. Would be looking for a replacement winger or forward/winger as part of any deal for him.
  16. Re: World Championship 10000 Discussion thread Antonio Valencia concerned about lack of games. Totally understandable as he hasn't featured much for us this season but... He has increased from level 0 to level 3 concern in just 8 days. Crazy fast that. He'll be level 5 by this time next week at this rate. I've submitted a ticket in the hope that its a bug. If it's not a bug then I'll have to start listening to offers for him
  17. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help)
  18. Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread Dammit, too skint to compete for him
  19. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help) Can I just ask you guys for some advice.. I'm Manchester United in WC10000 and Antonio Valencia has just moved from level 0 to level 3 in the space of a week or so. During this period of rises there we have only played 1 match due to delayed fixtures. Is this normal as it seems very, very fast to me? I've never had a player increase at that rate before now. Could he move to level 5 in the next couple of weeks? I've managed concerns with my clubs fairly well and thought I had a decent enough understanding of them but I'm very confused about this Antonio Valencia situation.
  20. Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread I have been trying to improve my squads over the least couple of weeks. Been in quite a few bidding wars. Won a few, lost a few.
