  1. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN So I have come back on and I am in debt by a good amount. Yikes...
  2. Re: The Ashes Part 2 (in Australia) What a good series. Our batting is still poor which makes the whole display even more laughable. Hughes needs to bat at 6 instead of Bailey but that's the only change I'd make for South Africa.
  3. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN J.Boateng comes to Sunderland for Millwall in exchange for Candreva and Byram. Fair deal but gives me needed strength in defence.
  4. Re: Official Cricket Thread It appears likely that Bailey will bat at 6 in the first test at the Gabba. I think he has proved himself at international level. His FC record is poor but he may rise to the occasion. He has been our best ODI batsmen for a year now. Bollinger is another name in the mix. He got 6 for just the other day and apparently is a lot fitter this season. I think the position is between him and Johnson. Fawad Ahmed got 6 for for Victoria recently. I think they should stick with Lyon though. He is a decent young off-spinner. Nothing flash but always contributes.
  5. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN Sunderland are back in Div 1. No need to celebrate. That'll happen when we win the title next season.
  6. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN There are some big names at Sunderland. Robben, Casillas, Schweinsteiger, Nasri, Sanchez, Carrick, Ivanovic, Negredo, Tevez... Well, they could be at your club if you put a decent bid in, so get on it!
  7. Re: 4662 - Transfer News , Discussions & Match Reports K. Toure, Nocerino and Matri are all for sale at West Ham. Put your bids in. In other news Kyle Ebecilio has signed on. Should be a good buy!
  8. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread I'm looking for an 88+ fullback. Let me know if you can help me out there
  9. Re: The Ashes 2013 (In England) I went to bed last night feeling pretty good so I couldn't believe it when I woke up. Surprise, surprise our batting failed. We don't have enough batsmen who can graft an innings out when the going is tough. Mind you, this is our best team. There isn't anyone better lying around as far as I'm aware. Well done England.
  10. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Signed Connor Pain and Deryck Boyata. I think Boyata could have a decent season and perhaps rise to 87. It's a bit of a punt but for 3mil isn't going to be an issue if he fails.
  11. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Koscielny sold to West Ham for Theophile-Catherine + Ideye. This deal gives me a bit more strength up front. Should help quite a lot.
  12. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread He'll be starting for Australia in the World Cup.
  13. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Hi guys, Thought I'd give QPR a bit of a go. I've made a few signings. Al Shehri Brayford McGowan Bozanic Sulejmani Pretty happy with those so far.
  14. Re: The Ashes 2013 (In England) While I have been just as frustrated, I don't think it has changed the outcome of the series.
  15. Re: The Ashes 2013 (In England) They should use umpires from England and Australia. One from each country. That should solve it. Much better officials. Great match so far though. Wonder if we try and have 5 overs of slogging in the morning so England's batsmen don't get to prepare as much for it? Probably not but can't rule anything out with Clarke. With Watson's demotion, it makes me think they have lost faith with him. I think that's his test career done. Good ODI player but that's it really.
  16. Re: The Ashes 2013 (In England) Biggest surprise today is that Watson wasn't out LBW.
  17. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Chiellini + 3mil for Vidic? I'd be selling Vidic. My other CBs are Hummels, T. Silva, Busquets (That's where I have him play), Ogbonna, Jones and Nastasic. Money isn't a problem for me either.
  18. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN In my defence, I had a second string side out too
  19. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN 5-1 win over Hull. Puts me into 5th place.
  20. Re: Official Cricket Thread I have no problem with someone seeking asylum coming to Australia. Having all our hopes rely on him is foolish though. I don't think he'll represent Australia anyway. I'm not sure what the situation is but as I was saying before there is a lot more interest in the football codes. Maybe that's because only a small handful can make a professional living from cricket while there are 18 AFL clubs who have to field 18 players each week. There is a higher chance to succeed and it is the national sport of Australia. It has a huge following.

  22. Re: Official Cricket Thread So it looks like the bowling is almost sorted for us with Bird and Siddle vying for the last place. Who knows what's happening with the middle order though. Smith has gotten a few runs as of late too. He's not my favourite player but he's doing well at the moment.
  23. Re: 4662 - Transfer News , Discussions & Match Reports Hey guys, I'm the West Ham manager. I only just found this thread so sorry it has taken so long. I've been in charge for a couple of months now. My squad is a bit bare at the moment and with no funds, am finding things a bit difficult. If anyone has any players they can loan out which are rated 86+ that would be of great help. Thanks guys!
  24. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN New signing Jozefzoon got a rise today. Hopefully he continues to rise as the new season starts and he plays with new club PSV.
  25. Re: Official Cricket Thread I doubt Warner will play in the first test but if he does it will most likely be at number 6.
