  1. I'm afraid you're wrong in what you're saying and I have done many tests and consequently never had issues with concerns. It's worked out on games losing fitness / 12, 3 times a season.
  2. Not quite how it works. "For example, in a league with 38 games (38 Turns) a 94 rated or higher player expects to play in 31 games were they lose fitness. This could be 25 league starts, 8 substitute appearances and 2 cup games. Alternatively 31 league starts (missing 1 in every 6 league games) and no cup games" Any game where fitness is lost, League, Cup, Shield, Community Shield, counts towards a game / 38. So, essentially the further you progress in the cups the easier concerns are to manage. A slighlty riskier way to deal with concerns (but one I've had success with) is leaving out 1 or 2 players until level 3 (never level 4), and then just playing them every game, and then repeat with the other players who then lose out haha. Substitutes are also massive because even coming on in the 75th counts as half of a game, so 3 subs a game can really help.
  3. Frenkie everyday, twice on a Thursday Marquinhos and Saka Pedri Targett Pedri 1. Alexander ISAK 2. Dušan VLAHOVIĆ 3. Jonathan DAVID 4. Donyell MALEN 5. Myron BOADU
  4. Yes definitely Depends who’s available Keep Daka Same as RhysMorgan. Casemiro or Barella depending I would certainly yeah. Seen nothing overly exciting about Garcia and other two much younger and could go either way. Meslier great too Neither. Though the first is slightly more tempting. Wouldn’t even do Foden for Bruno… especially when you’ve got Ronaldo to tide you over rating wise till Foden hits the bigger ratings.
  5. The game is actually available on Free Sports (64 on FreeView and available on most TV services). I'm in the process of waiting for a COVID test to come back, so I might just watch it 😂
  6. Gnabry's rating is a poduct of individual and club success tho, which anyone who's played SM know plays a major factor. Plus, he was outstanding. 12 goals and 10 assists in 26 starts in the Bundesliga (Bayern won it), 9 goals and 2 assists in 9 CL starts (Bayern won it) and 2 goals 1 assist in 4 starts in the Pokal (Bayern won it)... Rightly or wrongly club and country achievements play a huge factor (especially CL and international tournaments), so an isolated event like Gnabry winning all 3 available trophies with his club isn't really comparable. Even if we do, he played a key role in winning all three trophies.
  7. Yep 3 less league starts and 4 less CL starts. In which Sancho contributed to a total of 25 goals and Haaland 47 goals...
  8. 1. Torres 70/30 +1 for me. 2. Really tough as can't really go wrong with any. In SM terms I think Upamecano is probably number 1 just because of Bayern. Then Bastoni, then Kounde. But could change quickly depending on transfers etc Reyna +1 is absolutely fine. Haaland top CL goalscorer. Sancho injured for parts of the season. Ideally Haaland 94, Sancho 93 but I don't think it's that problematic. Especially when he's on the verge of leaving and SM seem to bide their time in those situations
  9. I know it’s not the actual right place to ask but would appreciate a bit of advice. I’m playing a cup game, but have a few injuries so was planning on starting some of my first team. They’re all on 100% and I was going to bring 3 off at HT for another 3 first teamers. Are they likely to be fully fit for a game 2 days later (Monday to Wednesday). Thank you in advance
  10. Shaw, Zinchenko, Reguillon/Angelino - I wouldn't recommend keeping 4 LBs similar rating unless there are no concerns in your gameworld. Without a doubt playing at a mid 90s level haha, and has been doing for 3+ months. The fact he's a key player in the best side in the world, keeping Sterling, Jesus, Aguero, Torres etc out of the team speaks volumes. Deserves a huge boost but I expect 91. Keep both but as ever dependent on what's available - keep Neuhaus if you're only to keep 1 Olmo Depends on your squad depth. Unlikely that either of those two will ever reach 94, so if rating is the deciding factor even relatively long term I'd say Varane. Take care of yourself Milanista! Always here if you need a chat mate Veron for me DCL, Aouar, Tierney. Tierney would be higher but injuries dicate that he never seems to get a long run in which will no doubt harm him peak rating. Mbappe
  11. Sorry didn't see this had been answered And there's a simple explanation. McTominay plays CB, Kane categorically does not play attacking midfield, and Ramos categorically does not play RB? Like Rahul says it's somewhat suspect the argument whether he should perform on SM in a back 2 when in reality that's not something he does but then that point can be argued about any CBs currently playing in a back 3 in real life? Players being over-versatile is unnecessary, people cannot genuinely believe Ramos should retain his RB positioning? I can say with some degree of certainty he will never play there again
  12. He plays CB regularly for Scotland
  13. Genuinely Mbappe. Struggle to see Son or Kimmich go past their current ratings. Mbappe can go to anything and is probably already close to a 96. One thing I've learned through SM is the step-up in consistency from top end players (Messi / Ronaldo) is pretty much priceless. If your squad has a decent level of depth do not sell Mbappe, especially if it's a long term GW. Those players are the difference makers Hope you're okay Socca!
  14. Looks like CIES Football Observatory. No idea what algorithms they use but they’re a bit mental
  15. Yes mate, and he's really good from dead-ball situations. I never seemed to score from free-kicks. I kept track last season and had 6/7 goals all comps, this year Trent got 15 in all comps (all free-kicks) which I'm very happy with. But I suppose it could be pure chance and I've just caught it at a time it makes it look better haha. Either way I won the league and very happy with his return.
  16. Just to let everyone know I think there definitely is a difference. I previously as you said had my highest rated attacked on free-kicks. Last season I decided to change (on the advice of someone in here, thought unfortunately can't quite remember who) but thanks to whoever it was as it's paid dividends for me. Trent plays RB for me and obviously plays most games but every goal he’s scored has been directly from a free-kick.
  17. Rashford or Gnabry, what's everyone think?
  18. Only Dias outfield with more minutes in the Prem for City. Pep loves him and he's certainly part of his plans - I think he can go past 93 tbh and get 93 come the end of the season. Long term: Demiral; Romero, Ibanez. If it's a choice of 1 Demiral easily takes it - Juve ancient CBs and him and de Ligt are outstanding together. I prefer Rice long term to Henderson, Neves and Hjobjerg. Has the CB positioning at the moment too so very useful. I'd certainly get him - probably for Henderson, ageing and SM don't seem to want to give him a 93 haha Buy certainly - but what else is available? Doubt it now - I would've said yes a few months ago but I think Poch likes him and has used him frequently too. Was lucky to avoid a drop in the winter rating changes. Assuming position is irrelevant; Szoboszlai, Bailey, Laimer, Silva, Lozano, Amiri, Soler. Pretty impossible tbh Henderson easily I'd keep Tammy but hard to know how much game time he'll get. Maddison and Torres Doku for me. Already involved with Belgian NT. However short term I think Goncalves is the better shout The obvious being Alphonso Davies. Not under 21 but Theo Hernadnez is 23 and incredible. Lower rating wise and longer term; Nuno Mendes probably the number 1 shout, Truffert and Ait-Nouiri too Lacroix and Zeballos for me. Kimpembe - unless depth is a massive issue should already have surpassed 91 and 100% will do in the future whereas neither of Felipe or Orban will ever reach 92. Depends who else is available Foden Fellaini and Jovetic probably edge it slightly but it's very tough. Just concerned both may head towards dropping soon but SM don't seem to be too harsh too soon of late
  19. Maddison may have been out for too long for get +1 this time but he deserves it. Llorente +2 is probably achievable based on current reviews. He's key to a side that are likely to win LaLiga so why not. Maddison. Can't go wrong with either Richarlison. Long term he'll end up at a bigger club and Pulisic is a constant injury concern so likely to struggle to get above 92 Odegaard. Just needs to leave Real and he'll be fine Smith-Rowe In terms of long term SM rating; Rashford, Jesus, Werner, Martinez. Rashford definitely first, other 3 very tough Can't go wrong with either Smith-Rowe edging for me based on how Arsenal look with him involved Ndombele by some distance He desevres a +1 at least. Duo. both 90+ players within a few years surely He's playing at that level this season haha so I would say he certainly can reach that level. Potentially 88/89 by end of season depending on his game time going forward/Leicester's form and how generous SM are feeling. I think an 87 or even 88 this time round is fair. Davies Probably
  20. Kimpembe, Mendy, Theo, Tierney, Klostmann (Potential wise) - but Klostermann is very versatile LB/RB/CB Long term I'll say Jesus, versatile too Sule Zakaria, Laimer, Ziellinski Kimpembe, Upa, Romagnoli, Gomez Completely depends on the type of gameworld. If there's a lot of top young players maybe take the duo and cash. But they issue is a player like Mbappe who can probably hit 97+ are essentially irreplaceable Duo long term. Depends how vital Wij is for your team
  21. Infogol app. Got one of the best xG mechanisms and it's free. Does all top 5 leagues along with Dutch Eredivisie, Portugese Premiera Liga, Championship etc. The app isn't too sophisticated but it's still really good
  22. Aouar for me. Odegaard high ceiling but not sure I see a direct route to consistent playing time for Madrid The duo. However, only 5 attackers under 28 at 95+. Like gold dust and they are the difference makers, so if your depth is there, keep Mane Give up Romagnoli. Kimpembe most underrated CB in world football. Now involved in the French national side, featured in their two last competitive games Sterling for me. Unless you're desperate for depth. Even then probably Sterling Makueke Madueke Let go of Lenglet. Extremeley overrated
  23. Thank you both so much! I really appreciate it, I too have been fortunate enough to sotckpile talents and build a top team, predominantly down to the help of @Sir Rahul and @Soccahappy in the past so thanks again. (And now @Kieran_S91 too). Really grateful I will try and and feed back!
  24. I've got a question that's probably not ideal for this particular forum but I'm losing the plot haha. I have a team that has dominated the league before and is the best team in the league. I continue to dominate teams but drop way too many points, mainly drawing games. The stats are painfully in my favour but I just don't get the results. Out of curiosity for anyone who has a team in my sort of situation, what formation / tactics do you tend to use? I know you (@Soccahappy ) have a dominant team in one of your game worlds, maybe you can give me a bit of advice, I would really appreciate any input. Thank you in advance
