    Origi off to a flyer

Origi celebrates his first goal in his new colours.

Divock Origi gives Notts County their first point in a respectable draw away from home against tough opposition in Orient. The teams come into the game level on quality of personnel. From the get go County were completely dominant and looked like the home side. Controlling possession with their 4-3-3 formation.
Vincelot got Leyton to a shock lead just after the break which a shot from range which caught young keeper Blanco off guard and flew into the back of the net. Notts woke up from their slumber and got going with a number of chances which pegged back Leyton to a point where they could only sit and defend. The substitution of defensive midfielder Sturaro for attack minded Bahlouli turned the game on its head. In the dying moments Origi skips past the defense and which were solid all game and unleashes an relentless shot which smashed the net and got the away crowd singing.
Leyton put on a brave display in front of their home supporters and if the play like this they are sure to stay in the division but harder tests will come. Thaliwal had a few comments after the game.

Fleetwood moved up to 4th and that was despite being held by 3rd place Colchester 2 all at home. Buckley and Bakenga scored the goals. Next up is the might of Wycombe away who are look a sure bet for promotion.

Millwall starts brilliantly and beat top contenders Blackburn!
It was a beautiful night in Millwall! The lions were facing the strongest team in Division 2 probably, with players like Mandzukic, Lucas Moura, Gabi, Song or Maggio, just to name a few. And they did not fear! Supported by passionate fans, Millwall's players put their souls on the field and played like true lions!

It was an awesome match, with two strong teams trying to win. Match was pretty balanced, but we managed to be more efficient and scored 3 goals! Elia (2 goals) and Quagliarella (1 goal/1 assist) were truly inspired! But the man of the match was Sokratis Papasthopoulos, who was an authentic wall at the heart of Lion's defence. Unfortunately for us, he suffered a bad injury and he will be out for 4 long weeks... We will try to overcome this, and dedicate him as much wins as we can!

After Sokratis injury, Millwall was forced to go on market and look to bring in some CB on loan. Fortunately we managed to bring in Kyle Bartley from Swansea, so big thanks to them, massive help! We also managed to call a player back from loan, which will allow us to make some money that we may use to bring in a new face to Millwall, increasing our depth.

Posh started their Division 3 campaign with a superb 1-0 away win at Sheffield United. The home side did dominate but Loris Karius was in outstanding form and on loan Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo struck the 1st half winner.
"It was a real gutsy display against a side that will be up there at the end of the season. Loris was outstanding but we did trouble them at the back I thought Sanogo and Gayle stretched them. It's a great start!", commented a pleased boss Lee Reynolds

Posh have added the permanent transfer of Ricardo Esgaio to their ranks

The highly rated Portugese U-20 international can play anywhere down the right hand side. The fee agreed was £615k plus Nathaniel Mendez-Laing moving to Sporting Lisbon.
Nick Powell and Yaya Sanogo have completed season long loan deals from Man Utd and Arsenal.

"I'm delighted to have acquired these new signings and with more to follow the re-building is far from complete" added Posh boss Reynolds.

Hi all just took over Stockport.
Have a small squad with a bit of cash but not loads. Willing to listen to offers for players not on transfer bans such as Zieler, Rhodolfo, Wendt, Uysal, and M Fernandez for p/e deals, possibly one for cash!
Hoping to gain a squad with a bit more depth and thanks to Sunderland for the loan of Waris to bolster our forward options.
Yeovil away presents a tough start to life with County.

Wycombe Wanderers: Player of the Season Awards
Manager's Player of the Season: Marcos Alonso
I made this lad one of my first signings when I joined Wycombe and he has proved me right to do so. Strong performances both at LB and on the wing meant that he contributed a lot to our successes and played more than almost anyone.
Player's Player of the Season: Nicolas Lodeiro
He's become known as the 'assist king' around the squad and it's no wonder why having managed 13 from 19 starts last season. Almost the perfect attacking minded midfielder and undoubtedly our biggest asset.
Young Player of the Season: Santos Pecks
Started a lot of matches at the back and was surprisingly full of confidence and hard to beat at the young age of 20. I'm sure this kid has got a massive future on him but his present hasn't proved too bad either.
Player to Watch Next Season: Kossi Agassa
Due to financial limitations, I was unable to purchase my own choice of keeper last season and so had to stand by the previous manager's. Hopefully this season with my own choice veteran between the posts we will be able to stop conceding the late goals that frustrated me time and time again and eventually proved to be so costly.
Young Player to Watch Next Season: Harry Maguire
He played a lot and performed well last season in the CB role and I feel sure he'll do much the same for us next season. Not quite as strong yet as Pecks but perhaps soon they'll grow to be quite the partnership.

    A little old news but....
    Division 5 Play-off Final

    Aldershot Town 5-2 Cambridge Utd
    J.FORTE 11, 74, 77 A.CALLENS 55
    G.BERETTA 84 A.YUSUPOV 88
    W.SILVA 87

For the first 60mins of this tie, it was a lot of heave-hoing with both teams seemingly taking it-in-turns to amass an attack.
An early looping header from Forte settled the nerves of the travelling Shot's fans, but with Cambridge's dangerous frontline, anxiety attack's were still to be had.
Cambridge finally broke our resolve in the 55min, with a long shot from Callens.
In the 60th min, I changed to a more aggressive an attacking style, with some fresh legs from the bench...kinda *oops* or bust. It worked
An astonishing 5 goals in the final 16mins of the game, that ended with us being the winners at Wembley!
The players and their WAGS, are going to be treated to an all expenses payed trip to Skegness. A worthy reward, for a great season. Im off to Thailand, for a little...fun

    Living it up!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Im going to be putting an early tip on Dan's team for the title next season, his squad is getting stronger all the time...but there are a few other clubs who can rival them.
My dark horses are Alfreton Town. A strong squad, an numerous, which is always good in the long run...
Really looking forward to the challenge of Div4, an also a little sorry to be leaving Div5, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Congratz to all the winners & losers this season...long may this ace set-up continue

Queens Park Rangers are promoted !

This is a such unbelievable story as it is beautiful. QPR are back against the big boys in the best and most competitive league in Europe, in the Premier League. And except of the team, whose players are really great there is also someone else who made all this happen, QPR-s new manager, Mr. Armiri. 6 wins, 1 penalty shoot-out win, 1 draw and 1 loss in his 9 matches at the club it's just a fantastic record.
QPR managed to get in the play-off spots only in the last matchday of the season and this happened only because Blackpool and Blackburn draw in the last match which made everything even possible. The teams goalscoring record was far less impressive than the one of the other teams who were fighting for promotion, but the determination and passion that was shown by the team made it even possible.
In the play-off semi final the team managed to beat Birmingham City 1-0 away, only by a goal of Senad Lulic in the 81st minute and against Wigan Athletics, in the play-off final Lavezzi's goal in the 82nd minute equalized Sigurdsson's goal in the first half and then from the penalties it was Gökhan Inler who won it for the club.
But it has to be said, Queens Park Rangers were helped by an angel because otherwise this promotion wouldn't be even possible.
The next season will be a really tough one. We finished the season with a debt of -£5.0 million what makes transfer movements even harder, but I am sure that the manager will try to bring together a bunch of good lads who can at least try and stay in the Premier League even the 3rd Season.
    Until next, Goodbye!

Fleetwood today secured the signing of the talented and under rated midfielder Danny Bakker from ADO Den Haag for £805k.

Bakker has signed a 3 year deal and is seen as the future of the club."He's good technically and a good passer. He can also fill in at the back, definatley on for the future", Reynolds annouced to the Fleetwood.com.
On his way out is Sergey Chepchugov who has been made available for transfer. The Russian goalkeeper has failed to convince boss Lee Reynolds and a couple of blunders have contributed to that.

A few people on twitter have been asking for the club to be renamed Nuneaton Retirement Home with no less than eight players retiring at the end of the season.

We managed a second win in a row, but wasn't enough for us to remain in the 4th Division.
Congratulations to York City for their game against Wycombe Wanderers and for remaining in the division for one more season.
We are going to make a few changes in the team, starting with the signings of Alen Jogan, central/left defender from Parma, Ricardo Maniero, a striker from Pescara and goalkeeper Mike Maignan, the french Under 18 International from Paris Saint Germain.
There will be other players to come, in order to get promoted at the end of the season. Some will be on loan, from better teams, some will sign 2 or 3 year deals with us with clauses in the contract to leave if a better rated team offers them a deal for a decent amount of money, benefiting both parts.
Sylv knows the team and the fans are crushed, but he promises to do his best and bring CTFC back to its rightful place.

    Stevenage 2 Bradford City 4
A highly impressive attacking performance resulted in a fine away day for Bradford City which kept their unbeaten league start going.
A strange opening saw Conor Wickham score his first for the club on 9 minutes swiftly followed by a debut goal from Burak Kaplan a minute later. Back came Stevenage a minute later through Zeefuik scoring a beauty.

Wickham wheels away in delight at scoring the opener.
Rodri restored the two goal advantage on 39 minutes with a diving header. Zeefuik though had other ideas and on 51 minutes he cut the defecit again. Diakite's bullet header on 68 minutes once again restored the two goal advantage and that is the way it stayed.

Bradford City manager Lee Reynolds has annouced that 6 new faces will arrive at Valley Parade tomorrow. This follows on from Ryan Dickson arriving for £400k on a 4 year contract from Southampton

It is expected that Faouzi Gholam will arrive from Saint-Etienne, Mathieu Peybernes from Sochaux, Yaya Sanogo from Auxerre, Okan Alkan from Fenebahce, Samba Diakite from Nancy and Abdoulaye Diallo from Rennes. The 6 deals are reported to come to a total of £4m, but Reynolds calls the outlay a good investment. "All the players are young and hungry, Diakite is the oldest at 22. We have good links in France and have watched all the players several times with the exception of Alkan who is arriving from Turkey. I have high hopes all will become great players for Bradford"
Diakite is an exciting signing for Reynolds, "he's a player with great ability on the ball and likes a tackle too. He's been a regular with Nancy and we worked hard to get him with Leeds also in the running"

The signings will not end here with Reynolds trying to sign a striker next, although a deal to bring Lee Tomlin to Valley Parade is now dead in the water. "We tried. Lee has a lot of talent and would have been a real coup but Peterborough want to keep which is understandable", commented Reynolds

Bradford have installed Peter Taylor as Reynolds assistant. "Peter knows the club well already and has a wealth of experience to tap into. It will a great partnership I'm sure"

It remains unclear if he will be placed on the transfer list at this point as no comment has been made by the player or manager.
