  8. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Lots of changes have happened at Bolton lately as I have shuffled things around. Got bored of the game so am trying out new techniques, more recently giving younger players the chance to get some first team action. Here's the squad who will go on to dominate in the next few seasons Helton Sidibe --- Vertonghen --- Digne De Marcos Oscar --- Dzagoev --- Eriksen --- Ben Arfa Giovinco --- Damiao Willing to let plenty of players go including: Asamoah, Perotti, Donadel, McGeady, Pareja, Helton, Marcano, Canella and Filipe. Looking for young players and will to do two for one! Main positions I'd like to fill are GK and CB...
  9. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Listening to offers for Hazard...
  10. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... My Defoe plus Gourcuff for Podolski?
  11. Re: Project PSG Paris Saint-Germain: Thiago Silva is not for sale Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly turned down an offer from Spanish giants Real Madrid for star player Thiago Silva. It is thought Madrid lodged a bid with the likes of Kaka and Coentrao involved to try and lure the Brazilian to the Bernabeu, but PSG immediately rejected the bid ruling out the potential departure of Silva. The French club later released a statement on their official website saying the club are not looking to sell their stars but to retain them and add more quality to the ranks in order for the club to grow. In other news it is believed PSG have made their first move in the transfer market. French newspapers have been linking the Parisian club to the like of Belhanda of Montpellier and Yann M'Vila of Rennes, both players impressed last season with M'Vila showing signs of strong development at national level with the France squad at the recent Euro's. The two players combined are likely to set the club back around €35 million. Paris Saint-Germain have also impressed in the two recent pre season fixtures winning both comfortably.
  12. Re: Project PSG PSG Appoint New Manager French outfit Paris Saint Germain have announced their successor to Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the new campaign. A relatively inexperienced and young manager has taken the helm and although fans are unsure at the move, he has shown positive initial signs by laying out the season objectives for the club and announcing interest in some talented players. "I am aware of my little experience of managing top sides, but everybody has to start somewhere and where better to start than PSG, we have a side packed full of potential to compete with teams such as Barcelona and United. However this will not happen over night and it will take numerous small steps to get to this stage but with backing from the fans, players and staff then we are moving in the right direction'' I expect us to be mounting a serious promotion challenge, there are many strong sides in this division but with new additions of Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva we have a serious advantage. I'll be looking to sign a few more players with the available funds, however these are more likely to be younger prospects to keep the club heading in the right direction for the long term, this project will continue for many years increasing the standard of French football.
  13. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Still looking to do deals at Bolton, the following are all up for P/E: Filipe, Canella, Marcano, Heitinga, Pareja, Rincon, Donadel, Perotti, Sessegnon and McGeady! Might listen to offers for Hazard and Asamoah, but they will have to be pretty big offers.
  14. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread First part of the deal which see's Gameiro arrive at Bolton. Wan't happy with my attacking options last season but I now have two new strikers in the form of Gameiro and Giovinvo. Preparations for life in division two will continue to proceed
  15. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Giovinco becomes the second player to arrive at the Reebok Stadium in recent weeks, he follows Oscar who completed his transfer from Northamton Town just before the end of the season. Still plenty of players for sale at Bolton!
  16. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Looking to completely change the squad I have at Bolton, starts with a big prospect who I'm happy to have secured. Sad to see Xhaka go as he's a great player but Oscar is that bit better in my eyes. Necid and Ananidze will also go to Northampton for CV to level the deal. Everyone bar Hazard is available at Bolton however it will take a very good deal to land Ben Arfa, Vertonghen and Dzagoev.
  17. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Should I give Xhaka and Necid for Oscar? Necid is surplus to requirements it's more the giving away Xhaka bit I'm concerned about...
  18. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread What a signing Hatem Ben Arfa has turned out to be, 9 goals in 7 games! The Frenchmen netted a hat trick to see Millwall cruise past Derby County 3-0
  19. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Welcome back to the one and only Higgy! A few things have changed since he was last around
  20. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Changed my set of tactics again and managed to come out on top in a 4-3 thriller with Manchester City. Soldado who has struggled to hit the net since arriving at Bolton managed to come up with a hatrick!
  21. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Demolished Middlesbrough 5-0 to make in two wins in two. Got a good feeling about this season!
  22. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Still trying to get deals done at Bolton, the following can leave for P/E: Filipe, Canella, Heightinga, Miranda, Pareja, Rincon, Asamoah, Ananidze, Perotti, McGeady, Necid, Defoe, Donadel and many more! Looking for younger players, not too bothered about rating.
  23. Re: English Championship 5579 -Match Report/Transfer Gossip Thread Millwall Tie Up Pre Season Signings Millwall have been active in the transfer market over the last few weeks as they look to become serious contenders for the division two title in season seven. Four new faces have arrived at The New Den to improve on last seasons fifth place finish which saw Millwall lose out on promotion to Notts County in the play off final. The first big name to arrive is Frenchman Hatem Ben Arfa who arrives from Charlton on a five year deal, the quick footed winger has already sealed his place in the first team and has impressed in pre season friendlies. The second man to arrive is twenty one year old Luuk De Jong who was sold by Bail at the start of season six, however after impressing at Preston North End, Millwall used a buy back clause in his contract which see's him return to his former club. The Dutch youngster has told press he is very happy to be back in blue and will be pushing himself to his limits to bring success to the club. Frank Tabanou has arrived from Sunderland on a one year loan to provide cover on the wing and at left back, Bail is very happy with the temporary addition and hails him as a 'great prospect'. The final addition to the squad came in the form of Russian powerhouse Alan Dzagoev who has recently shocked everyone at an international level by boosting his countries hopes at the Euro's. The deal did see fan favourite Javier Pastore leave the club for Everton which has been labelled as a great shame by everyone at the club but contract negotiations were not reached. With the new season about to begin, Millwall look a strong threat and have been labelled as contenders for the division two title, they start off their campaign against Reading on saturday.
  24. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Sad to see Pastore leave, but I support PSG so obviously watch them a lot and he didn't have a very good season last time round despite netting some goals. In comes highly rated Dzagoev, playing well in the Euro's which could earn him a move a bigger club, Arsenal are already being linked. He's a top player and I think playing in Russia people simply forgot about him and it's taken the Euro's to remind everybody of his talent.
