  1. Re: Official FIFA World Cup 2010 Discussions Thread They will definitely have successors. James Milner, and the other young players that will get their first cap somewhere in the distant future.
  2. Re: Official Liverpool Thread It really depends on whether Liverpool were to appoint him or not. In this case. Not.
  3. Re: Official Liverpool Thread And what about Pellegrini?
  4. Re: Official Liverpool Thread According to MOTM, it'll be on Thursday, doesn't matter, as he'll be here either way.
  5. Re: Official FIFA World Cup 2010 Discussions Thread Honestly, this is like one of the most active threads on SM. Its already surpassed some of the club threads. Anyway, a question, will Steven Gerrard and Lampard play in the next World Cup? I can see Gerrard being there, but not actually starting, while Lampard will be left out.
  6. Re: Friendly game Go to the game world calender (http://www.soccermanager.com/setup-calendar.php?spec=fa), then everything else is pretty straight forward.
  7. Re: Official Liverpool Thread And he can't speak English. At least I don't think so
  8. Re: Fine a player? Obviously, players will still get sent off, but how you set your team CAN alter the result.
  9. Re: Fine a player? Its a decent idea, but Player X is fined 2 weeks for being dismissed in his clubs next match, because you probably set your clubs tactics tackling style to "aggressive"?
  10. Re: RBS Six Nations 2010
  11. Re: RBS Six Nations 2010 What's the England - Scotland score? I only watched up to half time when it was 12 - 6. Saw all of the Ireland game though.
  12. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Final score at White Hart Lane. Spurs 3 - 1 Blackburn, not too surprising really, I didn't, at all, suspect Blackburn to beat Spurs, a draw would have been nice. Aston Villa stalemate with Stoke City, I'd count them out if they didn't have 2 games in hand. Some more bad news. Man City are 'very' likely to win every single game except the 3 I'm counting on they lose. Definite Wins: Sunderland Wigan Burnley West Ham United Challengers: Birmingham City Aston Villa Arsenal Manchester United Definite win means that Man City will beat them no matter what, in my opinion, no team there can beat Man City, then the challengers are the ones that can get points, City already beat Arsenal 3 - 0, Birmingham are in good form. Manchester United will get the double against Manchester City. Whether its in Eastlands or not. If Man City beat Sunderland, Wigan, Burnley and West Ham and lose to the challengers then they will have 61 points. Birmingham City - DRAW Aston Villa - DRAW Arsenal - LOSE Manchester United - LOSE So if I get my predictions right, they will finish with a grand total 63 points.
  13. Re: Official Liverpool Thread I can see a new manager coming too Liverpool' date=' I'd prefer Mourinho out of the ones linked. But he says he won't manage Liverpool at the moment and would prefer Manchester United. And quaresman, I'll get a summary for you now EDIT:[url']http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/8558360.stm[/url] If you scroll down, you will see the whole exciting bits of the game, you can find the highlights on that same site, I think. Spurs 1 - 0 Blackburn.
  14. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Johnson in midfield? Benayoun could still be recovering. Lucas and Mascherano is a definite and I'd like to see Insua in the line up. Pacheco, maybe as a sub, he's a good player, though.
  15. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Torres and Gerrard can't leave unless Rafa gets Xavi, Silva, Villa, Aguero as replacements. Insua, Kuyt and Gerrard were poor against Lille, Insua is a DEFENDER, he keeps going in for crosses and loses the ball in the enemies half. Kuyt was just unmotivated, as was Gerrard, they don't have enough stamina to last 90 minutes anymore. Torres did his job, but Ryan Babel could have done better with the 1 on 1. And Albert Riera, I think he was meant to make a impact, not even close to what Rafa or any Liverpool fan had hoped for.
  16. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Its was a bit half and half, but that doesn't matter, we could have gotten the vital away goal, which we didn't. The ref made a mistake and instead of 3 minutes, we got 4 minutes of added time, in which Gerrard missed that hit. Then we messed up our corner. Still no doubts that Liverpool will win the second leg by at least 2-3 goals.
  17. Re: Official Liverpool Thread In the first half, Lille were by far the better team, in the second half Liverpool began to press but Lille got some chances on the right hand side before that goal. I can safely say, that if there was a header, it wouldn't have been a goal, looked intended even though it wasn't, the finish on that cross was amazing. But Liverpool will still go through.
  18. Re: Official Red Devils thread Iraqggoals, sometimes it will have problems. But in Ireland we have RTE2
  19. Re: Official Liverpool Thread I'm pretty sure you'd find it on the LFC TV website, unless you checked already, and they opt to show it on the LFC TV broadcasting channel itself. Lauri Dalla Valle is a huge talent for Liverpool though.
  20. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Not good at all, it could have been easily 2-1 or maybe even 2-0 to us, with Torres hitting the post and then his volley going wide, wasn't in full form, we should have came out of there with something.
  21. Re: 100+ youth players! I don't have a bigger team, kinda weird mate, that you have this many, also, no one can know if they have a better team, you shown quantity but not quality.
