Hamburg Claim First League Title Hamburg manager Chris Lewis defied his critics as his Hamburg side claimed their first ever league title in his first season in charge. After finishing second and fourth in previous seasons, many felt that a new man at the helm would bring in fresh faces to revitalise the club, however Lewis decided to stick with the current crop of players and instead worked on youth development and disciplined tactics which have reaped immediate rewards.
