  1. Top man Dave! You still playing the game? in other news, Sheffield United are now unbeaten in 8.. 9 points clear of relegation.
  2. Hi Rahul, any predictions for this bunch? Naingolan, Mertens, Tolisso, Brozovic, Glik, Felipe Anderson, Eric Bailly, Denis Suarez, Forsberg, Bernardeschi. Cheers!
  3. Yeah strange one - As was Marquinhos for Eriksen AND Modric..
  4. Omar Bogle scored twice for Wigan tonight.. in for a big rise? Only 70 rated, managed 19 League 2 goals this season before his move - is a +8 unreasonable?
  5. Portsmouth and Chesterfield (with the mighty Joe Allen!) currently available.. Both in the black too.
  6. New Sheff.United manager here, three years away from the game bar a one month stint and it feels like the forum's a Fallout inspired, post-apocalyptic wasteland.. what happened?? Glad to be back - love a relegation fight.
  7. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread I promised myself I'd return to SM after my exams, and so I'm glad to be part of this legendary Game world once again.
  8. Re: English Championship 7777 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc. Bones makes immediate Impact at Barnsley. Having been out of a managerial job for six months, Chazza Bones (above) was yesterday appointed as the new manager of Championship strugglers Barnsley. The Welshman had been off the radar for a-while and having announced a break from football, (after contreversialy resigning as manager of Wales just six months ago) Chaz' is back for a new challenge and confirmed that a three and a half year deal had been agreed between both himself and Barnsley FC. With just fourteen points from eighteen matches this season, the Barnsley chairman decided that changes had to be made. Former manager Stephen Partington survived a mere twenty-two days before recieving the boot having picked up no points in the six matches he'd managed the club, marking the worst run of form in the club's history. The pressure was immediately on Chazza as he had to name a team for the local derby with Sheffield United last night. Having met the players and some fans in the afternoon of yesterday, he got to work talking tactics with the players and setting up a completely different gameplan and system to what the players were used to as the chairman had stated changes were needed. The new formation and tactics had paid off for Chazza's men and The Tykes recorded a 2-0 victory over their close neighbours, Sheffield United. 22,944 fans saw Chazza complete his first win in-charge, the highest attendance at Oakwell in the clubs' history. Twenty-one year old Lewis Holtby was the man of the match having scored both goals in the derby and generally controllng the game in midfield, however having dominated in possession, Sheffield United were disappointed not to have got more from the game, or at-least scored a goal. Chazza Bones described the win as "Vitally Important" in an interview with Sky Sports: Bones applauds the home fans at the final whistle.
  9. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread If Carlberg did managerial debuts... "Chazza Bones (Forum) steered Barnsley to victory against fierce rivals Sheffield United in the South Yorkshire Derby. Barnsley beat Sheffield United 2 - 0 in their Division 2 fixture. Holtby scored both of the goals for Barnsley and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance."
  10. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread That would be great thanks! Made a bid.
  11. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Thanks for the warm welcome lads!!
  12. Re: Graphics Design Feedback Brother made this, any thoughts? I'm not a sig' maker, but he wanted to see if it was good or not?
  13. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Arsenal need to do two things to qualify for the Champions League this year, or even put pressure on Manchester United & City; 1 - Keep Arsene Wenger. Top quality manager, one of the best in the world in my opinion. The way Arsene has bought youngsters into the team and gradually developed them into regulars for both club and Country is evidence of a top quality manager. Examples being, Walcott, Ramsey, Fabregas and so many more of which Wenger has developed into quality players over the years. 2 - Experience needs to be brought into the team along with young players. I personally think Arsenal need a better full back, A replacement for Van-Persie if injuries were to occur (I personally think Henry now lacks in the quality that Arsenal need, but he would come on as an impact player, and I have no doubt that he'd pop in the goals if needed, but someone who is younger like Neymar or Muller would be ideal if problems were to occur with Van-Persie) and I think that Arsenal may need a new keeper? What are your opinions on Szczesny?
  14. Re: FIFA 12 Official Thread Paha, was in my DiDA class earlier today and my mate dared me to buy a Premium Gold pack with my coins. I had 9k and thought, what the hell, I'll give it a shot. As I clicked the button to open the pack, my mates (Who'd gathered round to watch the pack opening) were snorting with laughter calling me stupid, the pack rolled onto the screen, and BAM so did Dani Alves! The look on their faces was priceless...

  17. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I wouldn't personally do that. I'd keep your money and players.
  18. Re: FIFA 12 Official Thread My team of the year would've been - Casillas, Dani Alves, Pique, Thiago Silva, Ramos, Iniesta, Sneijder, K.P Boateng, Ronaldo, Aguero, Messi Bench - M.Vorm, Vidic, Lahm, Silva, Bale, Van-Persie, Rooney. Amount of different clubs - 10 (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Inter, ManCity, Swansea, ManUtd, Bayern Munchen, Tottenham, Arsenal )
  19. Re: English Championship 3951 Disscusion thread I remember Darkblade, haven't seen him on this since the end of 2010? Confirmed the Signings of Joe Ralls, Diego Forlan and Joe Mason. I also have the highest bid on Jordan Rhodes, so he'll be joining soon aswell.
  20. Re: I require 3-0! PLEASE HELP. 4-4-3? do you mean 4-3-3 or are you playing with a keeper in Midfield? :p
  21. Re: FA Cup Oh wow! Scrolled through the thread and found this ^. Good times, cannot believe we made it to the final and played at Wembley twice in a couple of months. Both days were a couple of the best of my life, I will never forget them. I hope a small(er) team can go onto to win/reach the final this year and hopefully we can reach the final of the Carling Cup aswell!
