  1. Re: Ángel Reinaldo ORUÉ Echeverría - Paraguayan prospect He's now at Santiago Wanderers in Chile - I'd sell.
  2. Re: Need Help In Finding 75 Rated Rising Defenders Silvio Torales will be a big riser if they ever update Paraguay.
  3. Re: Which midfield is better? Absolute rubbish about Fellaini this season. He has frequently been immense with the odd dodgy game, far, far better than Arteta for example. If not for Baines I think it would be fair to say he has been Everton's best player this season. He has never been dropped due to form or had any confidence problems, only missing out when injured. I think you'll find that Everton fans are concerned he be on his way to a bigger club in the summer due to the club's financial difficulties. He is not an attacking midfielder at all, hence the lack of goals, so buying him because you want an attacking player would be a mistake.
  4. Re: EC 7574 Up Against The Best I'm in as Reading.
  5. Re: César Iván BENÍTEZ - 75 rated Paraguay international Benitez has started the new season strongly, playing the full 90 for Cerro in both legs of their 2-1 Copa Libertadores win over Deportivo Petare. They'll face Santos, Colo Colo and Deportivo Tachira in the group stage.
  6. Re: Danish Superligaen 'low'-rated Risers Enoch Adu of Nordsjælland is rated 73 and has played 1268 minutes. Should go to 78 or better.
  7. Re: Enoch Adu Bump. Over 1200 minutes having played 16 games. Denmark is being reviewed next. A rise to 78 perhaps?
  8. Re: Tomasz KUPISZ - Wigan's Polish youngster He's played every league game for Jagiellonia this season, who are top of the Polish league, and made his debut for the Polish national team! Should be in for a juicy rise.
  9. César Iván BENÍTEZ César Iván Benítez, centre, and Iván Piris challenge Leston Paul of Trinidad & Tobago in an under-20 World Cup group game from 2009. Name: César Iván BENÍTEZ Nationality: Paraguayan Club: Cerro Porteño (Paraguay) Age: 20 Position: CB/RB Full International caps: 3 SM rating: 75 Predicted rating: 82/3 César Iván BENÍTEZ is a young Paraguayan defender, playing in his home country for Cerro Porteño, the most popular and second most successful team in the country. The young defender has only recently broken into the first team, and yet he has already been capped by his country 3 times. Early Career Benítez was already known to be a hot prospect before really making his mark on the first team at Cerro. He played all 4 of Paraguay’s games at the under-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009 as his team progressed undefeated through the group stage before losing to South Korea in the last 16. He impressed enough to make his debut for the senior squad a month later in a friendly against Chile, before having made any real impact on the first team at his club. He has since played 2 further times for the senior Paraguay team, appearing as a substitute in the friendlies against Australia and New Zealand earlier this month. Breakthrough campaign: 2010 Clausura This year’s Clausura has seen Benítez move on from being merely a player with potential to one trusted as a starter for one of the biggest clubs in the country. He has made 14 appearances in the league, all as a starter, and made his Copa Sudamericana debut. Cerro, currently 2nd in the league, have been relatively solid in defence, conceding 14 goals in 17 games, an improvement on their Apertura record. Future Now established in the first team of one of his country’s biggest clubs, Benítez has a bright future ahead of him. Along with Iván Piris, Benítez is likely to be a key part of the Cerro defence for a long time unless he moves on to bigger and better things. Already on the national team radar, the next step for Benítez is to try and force his way into the national team for a competitive game, and at the age of 20 he has plenty of time to do so. With Cerro strong at present, he should have the chance to impress against the best club teams from across the continent on a regular basis. In terms of the next ratings change, I don’t think 83 is out of the question, though it will depend how long SM take to review Paraguay. They last reviewed it in July, so it could be some time yet. The international appearances, though brief, should provide an extra boost to the rating increase. At Cerro, Benítez will struggle to rise above 86 even in the long term, so any further progress would depend on impressing enough to earn a move abroad.

  11. Re: Ángel Reinaldo ORUÉ Echeverría - Paraguayan prospect Indeed it would! He's not that good.
  12. Re: Ángel Reinaldo ORUÉ Echeverría - Paraguayan prospect Orue has pretty much cemented his place in the first team now, a clear first pick. He also grabbed another 2 goals yesterday in the 4-0 win over Sport Colombia, taking his tally to 11 goals in 14 games. He's looking good to smash through the 80 barrier with ease.
  13. Re: Ángel Reinaldo ORUÉ Echeverría - Paraguayan prospect Orue scored again yesterday in the 3-1 win Sportivo Luqueño. Gamarra and Velázquez were both on the bench.
  14. Ángel Reinaldo ORUÉ Echeverría Angel Reinaldo ORUÉ shielding the ball from Marcos Riveros. Information Name: Ángel Reinaldo ORUÉ Echeverría Nationality: Paraguayan Club: Libertad (Paraguay) Age: 21 Position: CF SM rating: 75 Predicted rating: 80+ Background Ángel Reinaldo ORUÉ Echeverría is a young Paraguayan striker, playing in his home country for Libertad. He has made a terrific start to the 2010 Clausura, having worked his way up through the youth system and reserves and into the first team. Early Career Orué proved that he was a cut above those in his age group by becoming the under-19s league top scorer in 2008 with an impressive 28 goals. He carried his impressive form into the reserve team during 2009, earning himself a call up to the first team. He played 5 times in 2009, coming off the bench each time, and scoring 1 goal. 2010 – Apertura With so many proven strikers ahead of him in the pecking order, Orué rarely featured during the Apertura, making just two appearances, though scoring 2 goals, both in the 3-0 home win against 3 de Febrero. His team ended up a disappointing 4th despite the best defensive record in the league. 2010 – Clausura The start of the Clausura has been impressive for Orué. After impressing in 2 early substitute appearances, scoring against Tacuary, he has now started the last 7 games, and has scored 6 goals. With his 2 goals in the Apertura, he now has 8 in 11 appearances, with only 7 of those being starts. He has been keeping both Pablo Velázquez and Rodolfo Gamarra out of the starting 11 – no mean feat. Future There is a lot of competition for places in the Libertad strike-force; Orué is battling it out with the vastly more experienced Manuel Maciel (85), last season’s sensation Pablo Velázquez (84) as well as fellow prospect Gamarra (85), though he appears to be making a good fist of it at the moment. He is a player to look out for in the future, and Libertad have an impressive record of bringing young players through the ranks. In the short term, any loss of form is likely to result in Orué losing his place in the starting line-up. If he continues to knock goals in, and keeps his place in the team, there should be a juicy rise in store; Libertad players’ ratings top out at 87, so an 82 or 83 wouldn’t be out of the question if he excels himself. However, somewhere around 80 seems a reasonable prediction for a player with a great deal of potential, but facing a great deal of competition for places.
