  1. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Ha I'd sell to you but it would no doubt get reported.
  2. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread An undisclosed deal has been agreed between Wigan and Darlington for the transfer of Vincent Kompany. Full details to be revealed shortly. Offer was too good to refuse this time as I didn't just get cast offs that other people tried to fob off on me.
  3. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Thought I'd let it go down to the final game to add a bit of excitement to the division. Commiserations to Orient but I couldn't let my old team get one over on me. Time to get the finger out and get back into this game after a few months of neglect. Given that I managed to get the full 24 points with Ukraine and win all of my qualifiers (no other team managed to do that), I'd trade it all for a bit of club success.
  4. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Getting a bit sick of replying to messages asking me to do a deal for Vincent Kompany. The fact he's set as unavailable seems not to deter people so allow me to say this for the record: He's not for sale until his transfer status is made available. Not for any sort of crazy deals you people may have. Thank you and I will not be replying to any more transfer requests in future.
  5. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Ukraine are drawn with Saudi Arabia, Netherlands and Scotland in Group B of the SMFA World Cup Finals. Don't think I'll top the group but finishing as group runners up is a legitimate goal to have. Having said that, Ukraine went undefeated in qualifying and we topped our group which also featured Brazil, beating them 4-3 away and then holding them to a 1-1 draw in the penultimate game. So it's not impossible for us to pull off a shock win against the more fancied Netherlands. It's my first World Cup here in 106 as I never bothered too much wi
  6. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread 465 games in 106 under my belt now (270 with Leyton Orient, 195 with Wigan). 6th longest serving manager in 106. However the guys above me in the table are still active around here so I'm going to have to stick with it a lot longer to get above them.
  7. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Its turning into a complete farce waiting for results to come in every week. Come on SM, my gold membership renewal is looking unlikely.
  8. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Ukraine maintain their undefeated started to World Cup qualifying with a close 4-3 win away in Israel. Next up Cyprus on 14th January.
  9. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Ukraine pull off a shock 4-3 away win in Brazil to cement their position at the top of SMFA World Cup Qualifiers Group 2. 3 wins out of 3, 12 goals scored and with the toughest game in qualifying now done and dusted, who'll bet against Ukraine from making a historic appearance in the next World Cup?
