  1. Re: |My Aim:- Make Real Betis the Biggest team in Spain|Match Report and Transfer Gos Sebastian Frey moves to Real Betis for an undisclosed fee of around £15 million Real Betis have added 29 year old goalkeeper Sebastian Frey to their squad. After the recent sale of Neuer the club were quick to find a replacement and it came in the form of former french no1 Frey. Frey has put pen to paper on a 3 year contract believed to be worth around £45,000 per turn. The club released a statement earlier this mornng confirming that they managed to aquire the services of Frey. This was what he had to say on his first day with the club "It's an honour to have signed for a club like Betis who have been attracting world class players and I hope I can help them to push for promotion this season. Having players like Torres, Pato, Essien, De Rossi and others made my decision easy as I've always wanted to play in a team full of world class players"
  2. Re: |My Aim:- Make Real Betis the Biggest team in Spain|Match Report and Transfer Gos Italian international De Rossi trades his beloved Roma for Real Betis Daniele De Rossi the latest big name player to arrive Daniele De Rossi is the latest player to arrive at the Manuel Ruíz de Lopera. The Italian playmaker is set to leave his boyhood club Roma in order to save them from going into much debt. The fee accepted is believed to be in the region of £28.5 million. At 26 many people believe there is lots more to come from the midfielder who is being touted to be Essien centre mid partner with Palacios operating just behind them. De Rossi revealed that it wasn't his decision to leave the Giallorossi quoting that the job was being done behind his back but says that he's relishing joining such a fantastic club as Real Betis. "Of course I gutted to be leaving the team that I supported as a boy but there was nothing I could do. The job was being done behind my back and I had to accept that the club needed to sell me in order to stay in a healthy position. It pains me to see how Roma have been dealing in transfers firstly Aquilani to Liverpool and now me to Real Betis. I just have to keep my chin up and move into a different chapter in my life and this will be with Real Betis- A team with fantastic players and a team going in the right direction" Accoding to reports in Italy Betis have also placed bids for another two players and they could just make it in time to take part in tonight's game against Real Sociedad
  3. Re: English Championship 1824 Match Reports/Transfer News New man at Blackburn Rovers as parker chooses struggling Blackburn over others Today it was comfirmed that Blackburn Rovers have finally found themselves a new manager after weeks of searching. The man comes in the form of young Englishman Hans Parker. Spokeman from Blackburn Rovers told the media that Parker was appointed as all the other managers found this a far too big of a challenge "We can comfirm that we have successfully managed to get hans Parker to be our new manager. He has signed a short term contract and we will discuss this at the end of the season. We had to bring in a new man as all the other managers were taking too long to give us a reply but he didn't think twice before taking the job" Parker at his press conference Parker laid out his plan after being announed the Blackburn manager and his first job is to build a stong enough squad to be able to cope with the premiership. "Well seven games have gone and we find ourselves at the bottom of the table. My aim for these last 31 games is to atleast survive and build a strong enough team to cope next season. Our squad is very thin at the moment with very few good players and i'll be grateful if the other managers would be willing to send a couple of players on loan" He also expressed his desire to build a strong academy "I've always been a fan of producing players from the youth academy and this is what i'm going to start doing here. If i'm lucky enough to be here next year ill be looking to make it one of the best in the country" Next up for Rovers is a home game against fellow strugglers Middlebrough " People are saying that Boro are struggling but they shouldn't be where they are with the team at their disposal. It's not the greatest but it's not a team that should be in the bottom 3." "I'm looking forward to that game and hopefully we can put in a good show for the fans"
  4. Re: |My Aim:- Make Real Betis the Biggest team in Spain|Match Report and Transfer Gos Essien set to swap England for sunny Spain Michael Essien set to sign for Parker's Betis revolution Real Betis have officially released a statement on their website announcing that they are close to completing the signing of DM Michael Essien. The Ex Lyon man is discussing personal terms before officially being declared a Real betis player. The statement said:- "Real Betis are very proud to comfirm that we are in negotiations with Michael Essien after reaching an agreement with Chealsea. Essien will be declared a Betis player if he successfully passes the medical tomorrow morning. The club won't comment any further until the deal goes through" Sources suggest that the deal might be as high as £35 million being paid in straight cash. Parker has always expressed his desires to bring Essien to the Manuel Ruíz de Lopera. When he first took over the club nearly three months ago he articulated that he wanted a top defensive midfielder to protect the back four. When asked who was the type of player he was looking for, his answer was "A player in the mould of michael Essien. A player with great physique, great athleticism, great speed and a player who will give 100% in every game he plays." It looks like Parker got his wish and now all he needs is a top class centre back to pull it all together. With the likes of Torres, Reina, Evra, Pato and now Essien all that's needed to push for a promotion place is a rock at the back. A relieable character who will bring stability to the back four and help the team keep as many clean sheet as possible. Players like Terry, Chellini and Vidic have all sounded out but the Betis manager is playing his cards close to his chest and not letting anybody know who might be the next guy coming in.
  5. Real Betis- The journey begins. From Division 2 to Division 1 Hi everybody. I took this Betis side about two and a half months ago and I have been neglecting it (Playing unfit players, not buying enough risers etc) and my league position is not the best at the moment. I currently am 4th in the league after 27 games with 55 points.- 3 behind league leaders recreativo. I decided to start this new thread to try and stay as active as I can with this Betis side and hopefully gaining promotion this season. My squad is very good at the moment current line up after deals will go through tonight |???| Johnson Vermaelen Van Der Weil Evra Arshavin Palacios Essien Di Maria Torres Pato Bench: Lennon Elia Kjaer Bassong and a few risers I've placed most of my other fringe players on the transfer list and i'm hoping to get around £90-100 million. I'm waiting for the EPL rating to take place then I can sell these 3 spurs players and hopefully bring in more quality to the team.

  7. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Yoann Gourcuff wanted by 3 of the so called big four Wanted man Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool contact Swindon Town over playmaker Swindon Town manager Hans Parker has confirmed that Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool all are watching Yoann Gourcuff and could bid for him once his transfer ban is over on the 2nd of January. He has also insisted that the player won't leave on the cheap if sold. Yoann Gourcuff is currently rated as a £25 million man by his chairman but Parker says that it will take around £42 million to secure the signing of the French international. "Representatives from Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal have all been in contact with us over the possible signing of Yoann. I can confirm that the price they were offering were completely disrespectful. We were offered a couple of fringe players but we won't budge from the £42 million buyout clause which was installed in Yoann contract when he joined a couple of weeks ago" "Nevertheless we are not looking to sell Yoann as we rate him as one of the best up and coming midfielders in the world and I believe he'll be one of the best one day. The player still has 3 years left on his contract after this one and we want to keep him here as long as possible." "He is enjoying himself here and has not shown any sign that suggest that he wants to leave. He feels at home here with the likes of Lass,Cissokho, Thebaux, Sertic and many more of the other french guys that are helping him settle in. he's only 23 and I can see him being here for a very very long time." In footballing news Swindon Town won their game 2-1 against Rochdale. Goals from Marchisio and Elia were just enough to make it 6 wins in a row. A late goal from Keltie proved to be a consolation for Rochdale. Next up for Swindon Town is a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion. Only 9/10 points are needed for Swindon Town to win the league. With only 8 games left Parker would want to wrap things up and give his youngsters a run out to prove their worth. 1 SWINDON TOWN 30 25 4 1 117 25 92 79 2 Bradford City 30 21 2 7 76 42 34 65 3 Walsall 30 15 11 4 56 32 24 56 4 Yeovil Town 30 14 9 7 56 35 21 51 5 Brighton and Hove Albion 30 14 5 11 39 33 6 47 6 Leyton Orient 30 12 9 9 47 36 11 45

  10. Re: Ezequiel Matías Schelotto +6/7 riser Cheers mate I've seen 1 game that he played against Salernitana and he impressed I'd be surprised if atlanta dont recall him back next season
  11. Re: Diagne Fallou ( Rated 71) Nearly 700 minutes played (big Riser) Rose to 76 should have risen more if he didn't get that injury that kept him out of action for 4 weeks
  12. Name: Ezequiel Matías Schelotto Age:20 years old Club: Cesena (on loan from Atlanta) Currently on DB rated 75 Predicted Rating 81/82 I've tried searching if anybody has already made a thread on him but nothing came up so I decided to make one on him. Ezequiel Matías Schelotto is an Argentinian born player who is currently playing for seria B team Cessena. As he is eligable to play for both Argentina and Italy, he's already been capped at under 21 level for Italy. It came last week in a 2-0 loss to Hungary. So far this season, he's played 13 times for Cessena and has scored 4 goals in the process. He is one of the reason why Cessena are sitting 3rd in the table. At the start of the season Atlanta bought him on a co-ownership deal. They decided to ship him out on loan for the season to gain valuable experience. Sorry for the limited info but here are his stats so far Cesena vs. AlbinoLeffe (0-0) played 76 minutes Ancona vs. Cesena (0-0) played 90 minutes Cesena vs. Grosseto (2-2) played 90 minutes (scored 1) Cesena vs. Brescia (2-0) played 90 minutes (assist) Vicenza vs. Cesena (0-0) played 90 minutes Cesena vs. Salernitana (3-0) played 90 minutes (scored 2) Sassuolo vs. Cesena (1-1) played 90 minutes Ascoli vs. Cesena (1-1) played 90 minutes Cesena vs. Triestina (4-1) played 90 (scored 1) Crotone vs. Cesena (0-0) (yellow card) (played another 3 games but can't find stats) he's also played a cup game Total 14 games 4 goals 1 assist 1147 minutes predicted rating 75-> 81/82 cheers please comment :)
  13. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Team value up to £200 million- Suggests club Accountant According to accountants working for Swindon Town, the club is officially the richest team in England if they were to sell their entire squad. Their estimated value is believed to be in the region of £200 million with figures expected to keep rising within the next couple of months and could eventually reach as high as £300 million by the time the season ends. Their squad currently consists of 115 players- 40 seniors and 75 youths. Their bank account is also looking very secure at the moment with a transfer budget of £19.9 million and a balance of £9.4 million. accountants are working closely watching the current wage bills and sources from within the department say that if the club wants to keep their healthy position they are going to have to either send players on loan or sell them. Only one option is available for Parker at this instant and it is to send players on loan. Around 25 players have been placed on the loan list. In footballing news swindon Town have kept their 100% record at home with a 5-1 thrashing of Walsall. Goals from Ozil, Marchisio (2), Dzeko and Negredo sealed the win. This win came at a price though as in form new signing Alvaro Negredo who has scored 12 goals in 5 games will be sidelined for approximately 8 days and will miss atleast three games but manager Hans Parker is not that concerned and believes Elia will step in Negredo's shoes and fill them comfortably.

  15. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | New team gelling well according to Parker The winter transfer window was something to remember for Swindon Town fans. Their team managed to capture some of the best players in the world as well as buying some of the most wanted hotshots in the world. During the half season that Parker has been here he has brought in an astonishing 201 players and he sold 96 leaving his squad with 105 players making them the largest squad in the country. Before the transfer window Parker promised that he'll have an interview with Geoff Shreeves after the closure of the windon and he stayed true to his word. Geoff- "Nice to see you again Hans" Parker- "Alright, how you doing mate" Geoff- "So what is your assesment of the work that you've done over the transfer window" Parker- "It's been really good actually. We have managed to capture the best players possible at this stage and we are looking to progress more. Our academy is looking really strong and its all looking like its starting to come together. Geoff- "Negredo has been a sensation so far with 8 goals 1 assist in 3 games." "Has he been the standout player for you so far." Parker- "Yes I have been impressed with him but if i'm being honest I think most of the signings are living up to their expectation like marchisio who's been fantastic for a DM scoring 2 and creating 2." Geoff- "How is the team gelling." Parker- "Well the results speak for itself doesn't it. 33 goals in 6 games is a decent return isn't it." Geoff- "What next for this team now" Parker- "The intention when I came here was simple. Get this team in Division1 in 3 seasons and thats still the target. So we are looking for three successcive promotion." Geoff- "Thanks again for your time hans, really appriciated it" Parker- "Pleasure"

  18. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Swindon Town stay unbeaten at home with an 8-1 thrashing of Torquay United Division 4 match (Turn 23) Saturday 24th October Venue: County Ground Capacity:15,728 Attendance:9,535 Referee: Iouri Baskakov 8-1 Marchisio (9) Bruno Coutinho (21) Marchisio (46) Negredo (51) Rode (54) Ozil (56) Ozil (58) Dzeko (60) Negredo (75) Claudio Marchisio bags the Man Of The Match award after scoring 2 and Creating 1. Swindon Town ran another riot at home by slotting 8 goals past Torquay United. This win keeps The Robins well on course to win the divison 4 title. At the moment they have an eight point gap over second place Bradford City and a staggering 17 points gap over 3rd place Walsall. This game saw Aly Cissokho, Glen Johnson and Lass Diarra make their debuts for their new club. Torquay United came into this match as 50/1 to win this match and this proved to be the case. Swindon Town took total control of the game and new signings Glen Johnson and Aly Cissokho were already causing troubles in the first couple of minutes by bombing forwards whenever they could. Alvaro Negredo had a beautiful curling shot from just outside the box brush off the upright on the 5th minute and Gregory Van Der Wiel had his header saved. This relentless dominance payed off on the ninth minute when Claudio Marchisio's hard driven shot left Beeven rooted for the opening goal of the game. Torquay United tried to get back in the game but Jermaine Beckford's shot was easily dealt with by Baneglio in the Swindon Town goal. Swindon Town quality were too much for Torquay to handle and a brilliant one-two by Marchisio and Bruno Coutinho left Erb chasing back but Coutinho kept a cool head and dinked it over the keeper to score his first goal for the team on the 26th minute. The first half came to a close with swindon town having 15 shots on taget compared to Torquay's 3. if there were any doubts that the three points weren't in the bag then 1 minute after the restart Marchisio settled the game with a freekick from 25 yards which Bevan got a hand to but not a strong enough hand. Negredo added insult to injury when he timed his run to perfection and scored the 4th for Swindon Town. Rode then pulled one back for the visitors on the 54th minute with a lovely header. Minutes later ozil scored a stunning volley after Pablo Hernandez had crafted some space for the German winger. Ozil made it 6-1 two minutes when he skipped past 4 players including the goalkeeper to score his 3rd goal in 2 game. Torquay united had no replies and Edin Dzeko made it 7 before Negredo got his sixth goal in 2 games for the Robins.
  19. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Aly Cissokho Glen Johnson and Lass Diarra completes £25 million move to Swindon Town According to Parker, 3 more top class players have completed moves to Swindon Town in a deal believed to be worth as much as £25 million. Aly Cissokho has moved from Lyon for £4.6 million which Parker considers to be a bargain. "Aly for just under £5 million. Yea thats a bargain considering Lyon only bought him during the summer for 13 million. He will bring more of an attacking play to our game and is very good at defending as well and in a couple of years time I believe he could be a top class player. This was Cissokho take on all of this " I'm very proud to go and play in England as I've always dreamt of playing there. Swindon Town have really caught my eyes and no disrespect to any other time but I believe that this team is too good to be in Division 4" The second player to join was former chelsea, Portsmouth and Liverpool defender Glen Johnson. Johnson was surprised by the way he was shipted to AC Milan from Liverpool and has said that the manager was doing deals behind his back but he is relishing the prospect of getting Swindon Town into division 1 "I am very happy to be back in england and i'm looking forwards to this project and I can't wait to get started." " Fabio Capello has guarenteed me that playing in division 4 will not affect my chances to represent England at the world cup." The last player to join in this trio was defensive mid Lass Diarra who joined from powerhouse Real Madrid for just under £12 million. He said that after the sales of Kaka, Ronaldo and Benzema he couldn't stay in a team where they were going to settle for second best behind barca every year and grabbed the opprtunity to join Swindon Town as soon as it was offered "All I see on the tele now is Swindon Town buying this and buying that and I said to myself this is a great team being built there and I wished I could join them and a couple of hours later I got a phone from my agent saying that Swindon wanted me and in an instance I said yes."
  20. Re: Low League Team Line-ups My Swindon Town team after 22 games gone in the first season 3-5-2 |Benaglio (89)| Johnson (89) Van Der Weil (88) Cissokho (86) L.Diarra (91) Pablo Hernandez (88) Marchisio (89) Gourcuff (90) Ozil (90) Dzeko (91) Negredo (90) Average rating:88 Predicted rating:90 Not made a bid for Gourcuff yet but should be made tomorrow when I get another 30 million. Will use the rest of that money on more risers to keep the team going forwards. Nowhere near as good as some others but i'm just over halfway in season 1.
  21. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Negredo and Benaglio the latest players to join the club More good news if you are a Swindon Town fan. The latest players to join the Swindon revolution is 24 years old Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo. He is believed to be joining the club for a fee in the region of £8.5 million. The striker is set to join the club from Sevilla, a team who he just joined a couple of months ago. Speaking about his move to County Ground he said that this is biggest challenge so far "This is a big challenge for me. It might be considered a risk joining a division 4 side when the world cup is only 8 months away. But seeing the type of players this team has been able to attract then it will be a privilage to play alongside them and I can't wait to play alongside Edin Dzeko in particular." The other player to join is Diego Benaglio who becomes the second signing from Wolfsburg. Benaglio is going to take over in goal after Swindon Town were forced to sell highly rated Croatian Goalkeeper Delac. Parker is said to be happy with his team so far but expects a few more players coming in and going out the club in the next couple of days "This is not the end of the spending spree. More are coming in and a few are going to leave in the next couple of days to help raise the cash for new players to arrive. The team is building along nicely but we need to be careful with the amount of cash we spend because we do not want to go into admistration and to do so we have to keep a few million "
  22. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Another two international players set to join Swindon Town Ozil left and Marchisio right set to sign for Swindon Town after agreeing personal terms. More joy for Swindon Town fans as Parker brings in more quality to the team. Day after day, for the last week or so Swindon Town have been stealing all the headlines in the backpages of newspapers and according to the Daily Mirror today, Hans Parker has again managed to convince two more players to join his division 4 revolution. They are Mesut Ozil and Claudio Marchisio. This comes following the chairman comments yesterday after he admitted that Parker was looking to bring in more players to the team. The deal that sees Ozil join the Robins is believed to be worth more than the fee they forked out for Edin Dzeko. It is believed to be an undisclosed fee of around 9.8 million and also sending a player to his former club Werder Bremen. The player moving in the opposite direction hasn't yet been identified but it is believed that he hasn't been involved with the first team so far. Claudio Marchisio on the other hand is due to fly to England this afternoon to finalise his deal but he won't be ready for the away trip to Hereford united. He could cost the team up to 8 million but another 2 players should be moving to Juventus which should bring the fee down a bit. Swindon Town have also managed to sign 4 players from the Bunderliga and they are Manuel Junglas, Sebastian Langkamp, Davidson Drobo-Ampen and Michael Parensen. They have also sold 16 players and 4 more are set to leave today.
  23. Re: EPL| Top 8 predicted ratings Goalkeepers Petr Cech- Not the Peter Cech we knew from a couple of seasons ago and I don't believe he deserves to be rated 94. I expect SM to keep his rating but I dont think he's better than reina 94->94 Ross Turnbull- Came to Chelsea on a free transfer and is now 3rd choice goalkeeper. 85->85 Henrique Hilario- I was impressed with him against Liverpool. Made a few saves but won't play much until Cech is injured. 84->84 Defenders Ashley Cole- Great left back with a great wife. (joke) I think Ashley is one of the best left back in the world if not the best. I think he's great going forward and I also believed he's improved his defending 93->94/93 Jose Bosingwa- Decent RB. Same as Ashley Cole. Decent going forward but will have to improve his defending. 93->93 Juliano Belletti- 3rd choice RB now. Ivanovic seemed to get the nod over Belletti and it looks like he can only fo with a place on the bench. 88->88/87 Paulo Ferreira- It will be a joke if he keeps his rating. hasn't featured at all this season (think he's injured) and should get a -1 atleasy 88->87 Branislav Ivanovic- The Serbian stamped his mark by scoring 2 goals against Liverpool and played 16 times for chelsea at the back end of the season. Should get an 89. 88->89 John Terry- Rejected the chance to join City during the Transfer Window and has looked to have jained his form back 95->95 Ricardo Carvalho- The portuguese international looks like he's won his place back in the heart of Chelsea's defence. Only played 12 times last season and has already played 6 so far. 94-93/94 Rodrigo Alex- I feel sorry for Alex. Had a tremendous season under Hiddick and now he's not playing but done enough last season to keep the 92 92->92 Midfielders Yuri Zhirkov- I watched Zhirkov play during the Euro and I was really impressed with him. Could be a great buy for Chealsea. My only problem is where is he going to play. 92->92 Florent Malouda- After a dissapointing start to his chealsea career, Malouda has started to recapture the form that he had at Lyon and surely he deserves a 92. 91->92 Frank Lampard- hasn't scored a goal yet this seasom which is unusual for a player of Franks calibre but I still feel he'll keep the 95 95->95 Michael Essien- IMO I think he's Chealsea engine and he starts the play all the time. One of the best DM mid in the world alongside Mascherano but from what I've seen this season Essien is winning that title atm. 95->95 Micheal Ballack- Now 33 Ballack still looks like he's got something to offer to the Chealsea team. With 3 goals in 7 games the Germany captain should keep the 93. 93->93 John Obi Miker- Started the first few games as the DM in the diamond formation but it looks like he'll have to settle for a place on the bench as Essien is doing that job brilliantly 91->91 Anderson Deco- Can't seem to be able to settle in the premiership even though he had a wonderful bigining. Has played a couple of games this season but should go down to 91 92->91/92 Joe Cole- He's been unlucky with injury and should be a starter in the next couple of weeks. Was already an established first choice for England. Hope he keeps the 92. 92->92 Forwards Nicolas Anelka- Surprised he never had his ratings increased last season but should defo get a +1 this time 92->93Salomon Kalou- How on earth is he a 92. He should go down to a 91 92->91 Didier Drogba- I don't think he will get the 96 back even though I believe he should. SM won't rise him after the just decreased him 95->95
  24. Re: CB,RB,LB and CF/FWD that will reach 90 Here's a few I could think of Edin Dzeko 89->91 Aaron Lennon 89->91/90 Claudio Marchisio 89->90 Diego Benaglio 89->90 Glen Johnson 89->91 Taye Taiwo 89->90 Sergio Asenjo 88->90 Marco Motta 88->90 Michel Bastos 89->90 Pablo Hernandez 88->90 Yossi Benayoun-89->90 Andre-Pierre Gignac 89->90 Stevan Jovetic 88->90/89 Thiago Motta 88->90 hope these help :)
  25. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Edin Dzeko in talks with Swindon town over a possible club record Dzeko- "Im coming to Swindon Town to make history" The latest player who is set to join Swindon Town is 23 year old Bosinan Stiker Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £10-15 million. The striker who finished second in the top scoring chart in the Bunderliga scoring 28 goals is believed to relish a new challenge after winning the league title in Germany. Wolfsburg fans are in shock after hearing the news and this was what he had to say "Wolfsburg will always have a place in my heart. I loved everything about the place but I have to move onto bigger and better things. People are going to start questioning me for moving to a Division 4 side but after having a chat with the manager, he laid out his plans to me and the project looked so exciting and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity." The chairman of Swindon Town confirmed that Hans is looking to bring in 14 more players in the next couple of weeks and also told us that the manager rejected 3 jobs offers from bigger teams to stay at County Ground . "Hans had a little chat with me and he told me that he is looking to bring in 14 more players after the purchase of Edin Dzeko but i've told him that he'll have to sell to buy and he accepted that." "I can also say that he (Hans Parker) rejected three job offers from bigger teams to stay here and it shows how he respects this club and its fans and i'm really looking forward to the future of this football club."
