  1. Re: How to sell players? that's what has been happening to me with my swindon team. the TB were over a couple of days ago and i transfer listed nearly every player and so far only 3 players have left. just like you said when trying to P/E them their value falls down significantly.
  2. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Three new players set to be unveiled as Swindon player with more quality to follow in the coming days Sky Sports news reporters understand that Swindon Town have had a bid accepted for Emiliano Insua. He is rumoured to have been seen at Swindon Training ground and will undergo a medical before putting pen to paper in a deal believed to have been a straight swap with GK Soliman and E.Ramos moving to Juventus. They have also been in contact with Ajax and Valencia over possible signing of Van Der Wiel and Pablo Hernandez. Manager Hans Parker denied to comment on these deals but did give a hint that more players will be arriving soon "Yes expect the unexpected. When I first took charge, I said that I'll be making major changes halfway through the season and this is what the fans are going to get-A few stars of today and some superstars of tomorrow." In other News Swindon Town have completer the signing of Gianluca Litteri, Sebastian De Maio, Simone Villanova, Fraser Fyvie, Kelvin Leerdam, Miguel Joao Aurelio and Toby Alderweireld for a combine fee of around 2.5 million.
  3. Re: EPL| Top 8 predicted ratings Goalkeepers Pepe reina - In my eyes, he’s the best goalkeeper in the premiership and is unlucky to be Spanish as if he was any other nationality excluding Brazil and Italy he would be first choice. 93->93 Cavalieri Diego- Only featured in the league cup. Had a -1 last time round. Should keep the 87 (decent rating for a backup) Defenders Fabio Aurelio- If he’s fit he’s Liverpool’s 1st choice LB but he keeps getting injured and cant stay in the team for longer than 2-3 months 91->90 Andrea Dossena- One of Rafa’s worst signing. £8 million I expected a bit more. Hasn’t been able to adapt to life in the prem and should get a -1 or 2 89->88/87 Emiliano Insua- Played every single one of Liverpool’s league and champions league games this season. Very bright future in front of him but will have to improve his defending 83->86/87 Glen Johnson- Great going forward but will have to improve his defending. Already made the RB position his own in the NT. 89->91 Philipp Degan- I’m not a huge fan of Degan but I have to say he looked decent going forwards against leeds. 87->87 Jamie Carragher- His form has dipped this season and he is one of the reasons we are leaking quite a few goals. If he can get his act back together then I have no doubt he’ll get the 94 back at the end of the year. 94->93 Martin Skrtel- A no nonsense defender. 92->92 Daniel Agger- If fit I think he’s better than skrtel. Should come back in the team soon and hopefully by the end of the year he’ll get a 90 89->89 Sotiris kyrgiakos- Joined as 4th choice CB and done no bad in the 2 games he’s played but the latest news indicate that he’ll be out for 3-4 month. 88->87 Midfielders Albert Riera- I think he’s a good squad player . Came to Liverpool for 8 million and he’s been good so far 91->91 Yossi Benayoun- Liverpool’s best winger by mile but I like it better when he play in the Gerrard role. 89->90 Alberto Aquilani- Don’t know much about his. Hopefully he’s have a few games under his belt by the time the changes come about and keep the 90. 90->90 Lucas Leiva- Played in all of Liverpool’s game this season. I think when Aquilani gets back he’ll be drop but we’ll have to wait. 88->89 Javier Mascherano- Hasn’t been the Masch we knew from last season. Been upset by the failure to leave the club but the Argentine should keep his rating 94->94 Steven Gerrard- My favourite player. Heart and soul of Liverpool. Will keep his 97. 97->97 Ryan Babel- I thought this would be his season but unfortunately he hasn’t lived up to the reputation he came to us with 89->89/88 Strikers Dirk Kuyt- The hard working RM gives 110% in every game. 92->92 Andrey Voronin- Back up to Torres. Will be hard to see him get a game in the 4-2-3-1 formation. 89->89/88 Fernando Torres- He’s been a revelation since joining Liverpool. Probably the best Centre Forward in the world but he’ll have to settle for the 96 96->96 David Ngog- The young French men has a bright future at Anfield. Has been learning from Torres and will be an important player in the future. 84->85
  4. Re: help thanks ! See under the person's display picture there is 3 icons click on the middle one
  5. Re: EPL| Top 8 predicted ratings Mate everyone is entitled to their own opinions. we'll have to wait for the ratings to see who's right and who's wrong
  6. Re: EPL| Top 8 predicted ratings I just think you've been a bit too generous or a predicted their ratings to be too high
  7. Alright, I love watching English football and since I’m a big fan of the league, I decided to make a thread on the so called big 4 and also include other teams who have been banging on the doors to get in the Champions League over the last couple of seasons. (Aston Villa, Everton and Tottenham (City could be added to this category real soon) I will start from Man Utd who finished champions last year and work my way down. Feel free to leave any positive or negative feedback Riser Possible riser Stay Possible decrease Decrease Goalkeepers Edwin van der Sar- Has not played at all this season due to a hand injury. Will be very hard to see him keep his rating. So a -1 would be fair. 94->93 Ben Foster- Played all league and champions league game for Man Utd this season. I’m not a big fan of Foster but since he’s been playing regularly he should rise. +1 or +2 87->88/89 Tomasz Kuszczak- Same as Van Der Sar. Hasn’t played much except from the league cup game against Wolves in which he had a decent game. Not enough to keep his 88 88-87 Defenders Patrice Evra- I think he’s one of the best Left back in the world. Has been very consistent for Man Utd this season. I think he deserves a 94 but I don’t think he’ll get it 93->93/94 Rafael Pereira Da Silva- If he’s fit he’s probably the first choice Right back. Will be a top class full back in the future but for now he won’t get a rise 86->86 Gary Neville- Can‘t see him staying at Man Utd for long. Has been hit with a couple of injuries over the last couple of season and can’t seem to stay fit for long. He’s on the way down and will decrease to 88 in the next rating change. 89->88 Wes Brown- Another player who has hardly featured for Man Utd this season. Only 4 appearances far and can’t see him keeping the 89. 89->88 Nemanja Vidic- Solid defender who will keep his rating. Probably the best centre back in England at the moment alongside John Terry and Veermaleen 96->96 John O’shea- Can play anywhere in the back four but so far this season he’s mainly been playing at right back. Definitely deserves a rise 89->90 Rio Ferdinand- Has been hit with a couple of injuries at the start of this season. When played has been very shaky at the back so he should drop -1 96->95 Johnny Evans- 3rd choice CB behind Ferdinand and Vidic but when he’s been called upon he’s not disappointed. A +1 or +2 might be on the horizon 88->89/90 Midfielders Ryan Giggs- Decent player considering his age. He should keep the 92 Zoran Tosic- I’ve never seen this guy play and he hasn’t featured at all this season and never had an appearance last season and kept the 86 so I guess he’ll keep the 86 Michael Carrick- Best Man Utd CM according to SM and should keep his rating 92->92 Paul Scholes- Don’t think he’s got the legs to last a full 90 minutes anymore. I think he’s good to see off a game but can’t see him playing week in week out. 92-91 Luis Anderson- Hard battling player who tries his best every minute he gets on the field but will be hard to see him rising 91->91 Darren Fletcher- Probably Man Utd most improved player over the last 2 season. Hard guy who gets stuck in every tackle and Fergie seems to favour him in big games 90->91 Darron Gibson- Not played too much so far 84-84 Ji-Sung Park- Has mainly been used as a Sub this season. Haven’t seen enough of him but should do enough to keep the 90 but there is a slight possibility of a -1. 90->90/89 Owen Hargreaves- Been hampered by injuries since he arrived at Old Trafford. Could soon be back playing but he’s still going to drop. 90->89 Antonio Valencia- Had some tough boots to fill. Even though he isn’t as good as Ronaldo he’s contributed to the team 89->90 Luis Nani- Personally I’ve been disappointed with Nani. I thought he was going to step up to the plate and fill Ronaldo’s boots but makes quite a few mistakes but might still be on for a rise considering the amount of minutes he’s had on the field 89->90/89 Strikers Wayne Rooney- Has been Man Utd main main this season with 6 goals in 8 games but I still believe 96 is a fair rating for him Gabriel Obertan not seen him play yet. I heard he played for the reserves and should be coming back soon. 86->86 Danny Welbeck- Hardly played this season 83->83 Dimitar Berbatov- Still hasn’t lived up to his £30 million price tag but a solid 93 Federico Macheda- I believe he was added after the villa game and had a few more games after that so a +3 is good so far 80->83 Micheal Owen- Shock move to Man Utd but to be fair to him he’s stayed injury free so far (mainly because he’s on the bench) but I believe if he gets a few more starts he could get the 91 back. 90->90/91 Ill do Liverpool and chelsea tomorrow Leave any feedback or any questions :)

  9. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | "Everybody will start fearing us starting tomorrow" Stated the gaffer Sky reporter Geoff Shreeves caught up with manager Hans Parker after a training session today and this is what he said: Geoff- "Reports coming out from County Ground is that you will be putting 25 players on the transfer list tomorrow. Is that statement true" Parker-" Yes, like I said before a lot of players have come up to me and said that they want to move on to another team to secure first team football and I to accept that." Geoff- "So how much money are you looking for from these players" Parker- "After consulting my backroom staff and having a chat with the club's accountant, we reached a conclusion that around 35-40 million might be coming in tomorrow" Geoff- "After that I suspect there will be more players leaving the club" Parker-"Oh yes loads and loads of players are going to be leaving unless they are something special they will be sold as we need to strenghten our squad in all area." Geoff- "Alonso and Diego have been linked to Swindon Town in the past." "How true is that story" Parker- "It's absulute nonsence. Our aim is to be able to buy quality players like them but it will be very difficult to do so unless we move up a couple of divisions." Geoff- "Could you give us any indication of who you are going to target with the money you receive from these sales" Parker- " I wish I could but you are going to have to wait like everybody else. We've been in contact with a couple of teams and they've given us the permission to discuss our aim with the players and hopefully they will join this revolution soon" " Here is a little a hink we are hoping to buy four players with that money and none of them will be worth more that 11 million." Geoff- "Thanks a lot Hans we wish you the very best of luck in we hope to catch up with you real soon" Parker- "Pleasure as always doing an interview with you Geoff" Who are the four players that Parker has been talking about stay tuned to find out more

  12. Re: World Championship 1417 Just days after taking charge of Ajax Amsterdam manager Hans Parker has made a huge impact in the transfer market when the club comfirmed that they are close to signing 12 players. The 12 players include beating off competition from Real Madrid for Radamel Falcoa and beating off competition from Juventus for highly rated Centre Back Simon Kjaer from FC Midtjylland. The other 10 players include;Fabiano SANTACROCE, Rod FANNI, Andreas BECK, Marco MOTTA, Gaetano D'AGOSTINO, Santos RAMIRES, Darren BENT, Alexandre SONG, Esteban GRANERO and Emiliano THIAGO SILVA. The manager denied commenting on how much he payed for these players but it is rumoured that he forked out a total of £80 million and also giving away a couple of fringe players. This was what he had to say "This team is still in a rebuilding process since we have lost most of our best players and we needed to start again. The other managers in this game world caputilise on the opportunity to snap our player on the cheap when the team was managerless. We have to start again and the players coming in really excites me and our football will be more beautiful to watch and we hope that they will give us a push to a playoff spot in these last 13 games" More to follow latter

  17. Re: Swindon Town| EC 4064|Rise to Division 1 | Swindon Town set to shock the world by enrolling a huge transfer fiasco in 2 weeks time Swindon Fans were given the best news that they could ever receive when manager Hans came out to a press conference by confirming that the team will have a huge sum of money to spend in a couple of weeks time. He didn't confirm how much cash he will have but the money is said to be in the region of as low as £100 million to as high as £200 million. This was what he had to say " When I first came here, I promised the fans that they will be playing in division 1 one day and I also promised that I would turn this team into the best team in the country. People started questioning me and saying that I'm a total joke and that I will never be able to do that with the small budget that we have at our disposal. We currently have 120 players competing for places in our team. That a hell of an amount and some players have spoken to me about their desire to go to another team for more regular football and I understand that. But let me make one thing clear they will not be going on the cheap; and teams wanting them will have to fork out more than we played for them" Sources close to the manager has told a newspaper that the manager has already made a shortlist of players he wants which contains some world class superstars and he also comfirmed that around 100 players wants to leave the club as they are being targetted by bigger and better teams. Players like Xabi Alonso and Diego have been some of the players being linked with a move to Swindon Town. Could this really happen. Stay tuned to find out more. Xabi Alonso and Diego being linked with Swindon Town
