    Harry Wilson +2 today

Yes, YOU were right Ski13th!! Even +2 too! I'm impressed. All I can say is the stats were right but the spreadsheet didn't have enough IQ to recognize what both of us humans and SM staff did ie Harry Wilson's performances show he is going to be a very fine player!

Don't know what I can do to improve and educate the spreadsheet tho, other than moving the spreadsheet smack bang in front of the TV when Harry is playing and saying "You Must Watch Closer Spready!!😁😃😄🤣

Transfer Highlights! All in EURO'S Lobotka 20m to Napoli, Duvan Zapata 12m to Atalanta, Gedson Fernadez Loaned to Tottenham, El-Nesri 20M to Sevilla! Todibo Loan to Schalke and Marin Pongracic 10M to Wolfsburg. The last 3 look very interesting to me. Possible Spinazzola move to Inter?

Changes on SWiki today Tottenham, Wolves, Sheffield U, ManU and Arsenal ... 4to 5days to SM??

    SM Review completed today below:-

    Resu-Bournem1.png

Aston Villa review surely has to go into 3days now as Grealish for one hasn't been done yet. Bournemouth treated generously  with the exception of Ramsdale. Bottom line for the premiership is 85 for regular players. I know a reserve keeper has played a couple of games, but manager has said it was just temporary as Ramsdale had a slight tweak of his hamstring. Ramsdale has played 1,890minutes so far this season and that is definitely regular +5 please! SM u got it wrong again. Not as horrifically bad as missing Grealish IF U do tho SM, so be warned! Cheers Socca

  2. While waiting for the Gas central heating guy I have a bit of time so:-

A:  Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Everton went thru SWiki this morning. 4 to 5 days to SM Review appearing?

B:  SM reviewed Norwich I think fully, and parts (hopefully more to come) of Aston Villa and Watford. Norwich Details below:-

    Res-Norwi1.png

Really nice to see all of them getting rises and SM being more generous than my spreadsheet, particularly as Norwich are clear bottom of the Premiership. I hope they can escape relegation myself as they are a "breath of Fresh air" with their concentration more on attack than defending for their lives. Unlikely to succeed, long odds on to go down. Might have a bet they don't at the long odds.

I've added the Predict and actual boxes to make things look a bit clearer. 9:30AM where is this Boiler guy??

So Carles Perez. Please share the insight on what’s happpened there. If the quotient is showing a +5. But he’s been poorly given a 2.  Curious to learn and consolidate my knowledge further about the randomness of SM

Simply put hooch, I think SM got Carles Perez wrong. Ansu Fati played in 19% of available minutes and CP 27% of available minutes.

What factors in your spreadsheet predicted Melo's increase?

TBH Ski the spreadsheet hasn't predicted a rise now I look back and I think u must have missed it too.

I guess I was over excited because I've had him in all my GW's. for a long time and i did actually make a great profit for my clubs. But now I look back at the spreadsheet it predicted zero in the "Plus" column and +1 in the actual "Rise" column and zero in the Million "profit" column, for obvious reasons. Have a look back at it, sorry for saying it had in a previous post. I don't think a rise for him was right but I'm not complaining.

It's been a long day today what with my Gas Boiler breaking down & trying to find a qualified gas engineer. He's coming. in the morning to fix it I hope. I'm supposed to be visiting one of my son's in the afternoon as well, so I hope he's not delayed. Probably won't get much time for the forum tomorrow unless it's early on or he's late.

Anyway I'm finished with the Premiership as Liverpool would be almost all "Red Boxes" and much like the predictions for ManU, which I felt uneasy about. Will see what I can do for Holland maybe over the weekend or take in their weekend results on Monday. Thanks to all, I'd hope I'd have got finished for b4 6pm for u all, my apologies it's past 8 now Cheers Socca 😀

    Arthur got 92....

    Rashford should also get 92

James and Isco dropped (Knew was going to happen so I sold them in all my GW's)

Good La Liga review from SM 👍 DEFINITELY !!

PL review is going to be wild. Can't wait 😍

I didn't see Arthur's 92 BUT  the spreadsheet  surprisingly did, along with Niguez, Partey & Lenglet. I did expect tho F De Jong and didn't even put it in a Red Box! Nailed because the other Ajax players already got 92. Other "RED Boxes" as below failed to get their increases.

Any chance that Firpo rises tomorrow? 😒

I'd say as low as a 25% chance now.

Update of recent Spanish clubs reviewed recently:-

    Resu-Atl-Barc-RMadr.png

Great stuff again coming from SM's Spain review, best for many years and exactly what was called for. J Felix's value went up even tho he didn't get a rise! Spreadsheet treats Lucas Vazquez's drop in value £3.8m as a plus as his -36.2% would have made me sell b4 the review thereby saving that loss. Both are highlighted in Boxes around them.

Hope to get more Premiership later today but need to pick all my teams b4 games tonight first. Hope u find the above Big Club reviews as interesting as I do. Cheers Socca...

Ps Brighton, Newcastle and Southampton went thru Swiki earlier today. 5 days time on average we should see them reviewed

    Wolves-Ammd-Man-U1.png

Being out for the majority of the day I've only just left myself time to do 2 clubs and Wolves is just an ammended one. Sorry about that but it can't be helped.

Thank you  to the forumer who saw my mistake and corrected it. Pedro Neto was indeed 78 already not 76. My input error! So I ran it thru again and even tho it lowered his percentage he still receives +2 now to 80!

I cannot stress this enough please treat the ManU RED Boxes with Extra care here* (See RED disclaimer above*). I am very uneasy with the percentages they have come up with. The spreadsheet's intelligence Quotient (IQ) for over 88 gets worse with each point of change (tho it did get Niguez right and Partey). I myself think for these Red Box predictions to be right "ManU should be doing a Liverpool" or at least EOS rises! At least it's given a picture of the lesser important stats side of it.

I hope tomorrow will give me much more time to finish the Premiership. SWiki had another "Rain stopped play day" from the look of it, it was another "Soggy Wicket". Thanks guys sorry there isn't more...

Appreciate the amount of effort that must go into your model. Seen the call out for Harry Wilson which got my thinking about how your % expression predicts the likelihood of increase/decrease.

Wilson has 18 appearances (14 starts) with 1,000+ minutes and 6 goals this season so I would expect +2 this review at least.

We have come to the same conclusion Ski which is really good 😀 BUT let me explain somewhat why the spreadsheet sees doubt and bear in mind the formulas have to take in all scenarios. Wilson's 1,089mins are only 55% of the available minutes, Which means he has missed playing in 891mins, a lot of mins to miss. Also the formulas have to make a different computation for a Club Bournemouth 19th in the table and in severe danger of relegation. Contrast Harvey Barnes playing for 2nd placed Leicester with very similar minutes he has a +18.6% figure. Or even Maitland Niles with similar minutes who benefits twice from his club being an elite club and in 10th position +11%.

I realise fully u are not meaning to criticise at all and I do not take it that way at all. I'm glad you have posted as it gives me an opportunity to explain features the spreadsheet has evolved to Over the last 9 years, about 18 reviews. I have learned at every review to make my spreadsheet come closer to the way SM do it, adding new formulas and changing the accuracy's from the actuality of SM's own review results. Of course SM are far from consistent, make mistakes, miss players and sometimes clubs altogether! Their human after all and so am I & make mistakes too.

You have to treat the Real Madrid's and Bayern Munichs differently to the Osasuna's and Paderborns even when they might not be far apart in the table! Quite often the Top elite teams have bigger squads and spread the load of minutes lower too. Sometimes Top elite younger players get less minutes than the Norwich's of this world. The value of Minutes have to be treated differently at a lower club than say Tomori at Chelsea now. Previously at Chelsea Tammi Abraham, Mason Mount and Tomori would have got far fewer minutes. That's why such younger players E.g  Mason Greenwood, Brandon Williams and Daniel James get such high Percentage ratings.

Anyway that's a longwinded answer to why Harry Wilson's minutes still hasn't brought him to a higher level. Undoubtably  I may well make slight changes during the analysis to get this closer and also possibly make Goals and Assists a little more stronger an influence. It's all about getting all scenarios as close as I can. Phew! Anyway thanks Ski appreciate the opportunity...

Yes I've had that too, it does happen, I found more so with GK's. I'm not sure whether re transfer listing works every time but it certainly does sometimes and sometimes straightaway! I still try it cos I have BIG Squads & all my clubs have around 255 (The Limit) so am constantly selling players to buy NEW risers!

Duo for me. Felix not performing to his best at this moment.

Speaking potential, I think not much difference between them, both are really talented players.

However, the team they join will impact a lot to their future. Jovic will getting more game time now only because bale, benzema, hazard and asensio are injured.  By next month, I suppose he will go back to bench unless he uses this opportunity to play impreesively to bench bale

Haaland will get game time more than jovic so he will getting 90 eventually. So for now I prefer haaland

    Stay for now

More or less the same for me

Yeah it is odd not having bid for a month, never experienced that before

He will rise but 90 is crazy

Yesterday a game with my team. He's not a starter, but my first choices Varane & Godin are injured. Hermoso played, but now also injured... . For how many weeks .... ? 16 weeks !! Never experienced such a long injury in this game.

Again, it does happen. It used to happen more in the early days, but SM cut down when we lost a lot of managers, not just for that reason.

West Ham, Burnley and Brighton went thru "Soggy Wicket" this morning

Holgate referred to in an earlier post today, looks good for at least a +2. Also, Harry Wilson teetering -0.3% I'm adamant deserves his rise and a great future in front of him. Mepham having a really bad time of Injuries and Bournemouth suffering even worse. Nathan Ake only just returned and having to be assessed again, just when such as Chelsea are looking to buy him this January and having a clause in his contract to do so.

Abraham will most definitely go to 90, James one to look out for with more minutes due to come as Rb spot is his own now could get to 86 depending on when they edit him, Guehi now on loan at Swansea , that pulisic +1 is 50/50, very inconsistent and now injured but i think he might sneak itrest is spot on from Chelsea

I think the spreadsheet is close to saying 89 BUT Abraham's rise is complicated by the recent +1 he was given in November and on the other side of balancing the coin his caps for England. There is no doubt it's just a question of time. He is definitely a future 90+ but how quick and how far he goes is in the lap of the future events.

Great admirer of Reece James at the moment. Pulisic's injury puts doubt into his rise BUT I think his high profile will convince SM to give him his rise anyway. Thank you Cvilhete for your close insight into Chelsea's bright future with so many young talents on show. Such a change in fortunes for Chelsea since Frank took over. Hey dudes,

It's rather unfortunate :( for Spurs that HK is probably out injured till April because he's got to have surgery on his hamstring.

Nevertheless this gives young Troy Parrot a great opportunity to amase some more game-time and show us what he's made of, it's just a case of Mou trusting him enough to give him some minutes :)

Although with C.Eriksen possibly heading to Inter, Tottenham will probably invest in a Striker anyways.

Martinelli got a +10 to 80 in October so he's ahead at the moment but I think he might get another +2 or 3. If this is so and with both having great stats then a +10 or 9 for Greenwood would leave them both with 82 or 83. I think that isn't out of the question but what will SM decide? Impressed if they do as both have a long way to go in rating increase terms in the future. Both 90+ material!

Spot-On Milanista again! I really like Troy Parrot when I watched him pre-season. Been disappointed Mourinho hasn't tried him out, particularly as he played Japhet Tanganga against Liverpool yesterday. Wow he looks fast and I have bid for him in all 3 Leagues I'm in now! I Promise U GET HIM!!!

I guess my spreadsheet would show "a picture" BUT they would all be "RED BOXES" (read the paragraphs). I do include some higher rated players where I have an idea what SM MIGHT DO and if I did do an analysis of Liverpool I'd GUESS NOW that most if not all would get at least a Plus 1. Yes for example I've done Chelsea's Mason Mount, Tomori and Tammy Abraham but they are rated much lower and the spreadsheet applies.

Anyway Hfazil, IF you want me to do it for Liverpool let me know and if I have time I'll present the Stats analysis for you or any other supporter of my spreadsheet that might be interested enough, to want to see this analysis.

    grujic worth buying?

Hi ombarca, You may already know Grujic got a +1 at Hertha this review so won't be getting a further increase this review? Future potential: Is he good enough to play for Liverpool? Well he COULD be a Squad player if he continues to improve. I think that is the time to buy him, when and If he plays for Liverpool & looks good enough.

    Hey guys,

Should I give Joel Matip + Ozan Kabak for Ruben Dias?

Also, should I give Firmino for Rashford?

    Thanks!

    Close but Ruben Dias

Definitely Firmino for the forseeable future.

English review has started! As Watford, Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich went thru SWICKI this morning

    More results from Spain review:-

Chimy Avila was a late edition today. Very pleased with SM's performance with Spain so far. If anything they are being a little OVER-generous! ATB Socca

Very Slightly only 1 off my list and a few drops I think.

Doubt they will come back now, but u never know for sure Cvilhete

Quick Answer to JOE. We won't know anything for sure until Spain and England are almost at the finish. If u look back about a page someone asked if it was going to be Holland & it does look like they might be favourites for the end of this month.

Elizeu - YOU were RIGHT! but even better a plus2!

See Below the first and 2nd days review:-

And of course the Osasuna review today too. Must say I didn't expect a +2 for Chukeweze and Ontiveros gets a +1 BUT no increase in value - Very Peculiar! Nice Profit at Villarreal now 18.6m.

SM stll being slow about it.  I can see I'll probably have to update the Premiership after the weekend games at least partially... Cheers Socca

Ps Real Madrid and Barcelona going thru SWiki today. A number of Brazilians too but not enough to say they are reviewing.

The above list includes West Ham below to complete the English Review. SM should be over their holiday's now and probably complete Spain by start of next week and onto England by next Monday (hopefully). In the meantime I'll have a look at Spain and see If any Spanish Clubs need updating and then where SM are at next Monday.

Maybe the BIG5 is soon to be finished and I can enter into my spreadsheet analysis phase after a bit of a rest. Cheers Socca...

Should be right one, was only 2 pages back

Hi hoochy, U are right again but I havent a lot of faith in SM

Hi JOE, Good advice given by forum and I agree whole heartedly, even if the 82 was an  85 I'd go with the higher rated. Fitness doesn't make a lot of difference but Skill Rating does.

    Latest Updated Upload Below:-

    Previous predictions on pages 777, 779, 780, 781, 782, 783, 784.785,786,787, 788, 789, 790, 791,792,793, 794,795,796,797,798, 799,800, 801,803, 804.805.806,807,808,810,811,812,813,814.816,817,818,819,821, 822,823,824, 825   Be careful of the Reddish boxes where the higher rated players are more inclined towards performances rather than stats.

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

    Norw-Shef-Shamp-Tott-Watf3.png

Watford doesn't look good, but I suppose at 19th place can you expect anything better? Sheffield Utd the opposite but just promoted so is expected. BUT Norwich in last place and plenty to choose. Bit rushed to get U this b4  6pm and get that feeling I've missed something....Thanks again for the interest & support, much appreciated as always 😀

When will Holland be reviewed please? Is it usually straight after the big 5?

Hi sm1979, Cannot say for sure as SWicki is still showing Spain going thru. Todays Clubs were, Real Sociedad, Valencia, Sevilla, Atletico, Getafe and a very few from Real Madrid (Reguilon) & Barcelona (Cucurella). BTW, You could possibly buy these 2 and get them b4 they come thru toSM.

So won't be able to confirm anything  for sure until 5days b4 it comes thru from Swicki. However If we look at last January (2019) then that shows the following clubs reviewed on PSV 29 Jan, AZ 26Jan, and Heracles27 Jan. So it is likely that SM will repeat that pattern but NOT for sure.

    Reviewed today:-

    Res-Dep-Al-RVal-Vill1.png

SM seem to be all over the place with the Spain Review, some players/ clubs seem to be missing, yet SWicki are working the bottom half of the table shortly. A bit confusing but I'm hoping it works out right. Notice 1 Red Box gets an increase (Zambo Anguissa) and the other (Ruben Duarte) doesn't. But that's the way of it.

Will see over the weekend whether I need to update the Premiership results again, possibly just partially b4 they come thru to SM. Cheers Socca

Hopefully SM get on and complete the Spain revue in timely fashion to everyone's satisfaction. If so, won't need to update the premiership. We'll see soon. a lot of risers expected here, except Atletico maybe.

Thanks to all for the great interest and support, not too long b4 it's all finished. Hope everyone has got their fair share of risers.  Cheers Socca...

How quickly they will filter thru to SM is anybody's guess. But I will Guess they get on quickly now and don't take the usual 5 days!

Sm being so slow (SM=Slow Motion) means now that maybe the Top half of Spain's table at least will be SWikied at a different point to what I estimated, So the updated stats are probably required. We'll have to wait and see how long it takes them, I guess. The above can could still be bought in time with things moving so slowly... Thanks again for your interest and support. Cheers Socca

Ps Valencia should say 6th, but don't worry the stats are based on 6th
