  1. Re: The Intercourse, General Banter Thread. Mechelen from Natural Selection bag the Division 1 title with a game in hand! 2-1 over Goias, Jeremain Lens with the brace.
  2. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread LOL Sound like a great suggestion!
  3. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Is it just me or are the results appearing later and later in 5579?
  4. Re: The Intercourse, General Banter Thread. Lille are managed by Toonfanforlife.
  5. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Aidan, I really hope you haven't jinxed Shrewsbury tonight by predicting a 4-0 win over Watford! But great D1 preview, as usual. Ed, thumbs up to you as well. Edit: 1-1 against Watford.
  6. Re: EC Anno Domini - General Discussion, Banter etc The Brazilian rating changes have been kind to Doncaster. Here's what happened: Araujo TINGA +3 to 83 Junior SERGINHO +2 to 85 Santos DOUGLAS +3 to 87 Walter MONTILLO +1 to 87 ZE EDUARDO +4 to 84 Wellinton BRANQUINHO +3 to 83 Michel LUAN +3 to 83
  7. Re: EC Anno Domini - General Discussion, Banter etc Hahaha, no need for apologies, Matty. Well done! Doncaster are still trying to find their legs. Second loss out of two. Not an envious record.
  8. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Shrewsbury record a 3-0 win away from home against Tom's Bristol. New signing Hoarau bagged two goal and "soon to be sold" Plasil added the third. Watford up next. I'll be leading with the second team seeing as I have Dan's Petersborough in the Shield.
  9. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Looking good there, mate.
  10. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread HOARAU (89), INLER (89) and ZIEGLER (88) will be joining the Shrews in the near future. The three cost me Jallet (88), Balzaretti (89), Doumbia (78) and around 10 million in cash. They are a part of a squad rejuvenation project. I have a couple of other players on my wish list, but we'll see.
  11. Re: EC Anno Domini - General Discussion, Banter etc Doncaster Rovers a.k.a. the Vikings are starting to take shape. I'm looking to add a couple of players on loan as well. 12. Re: EC Anno Domini - General Discussion, Banter etc Early favorites for the D3 throne, for sure. Bristol are looking great, Mathew.
  13. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Thanks mate. Shrewsbury win 3-1 over Sunderland in the Shield. Peterborough up next. Hatem Ben Arfra will be joining Shrewsbury soon. Wesley, Belec and 3,5 million going the other way.
  14. Re: The Intercourse, General Banter Thread. What do you need?
  15. Re: The Intercourse, General Banter Thread. Way to go, guys!
  16. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Shrews manage a 3-3 draw against a strong Wolves side. I was hoping that a surprising 3-2-2-2-1 would do the trick, but it simply wasn't enough. My two Argentinean AMs, Conca and Belluschi, with the goals.
  17. Re: EC Anno Domini - BC Sean & Lenny, this setup is filled with promise. Great initiative! I got Doncaster Rovers a.k.a. the Vikings (any thought behind the distribution?) and I'm quite satisfied.
  18. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread I don't understand the reasoning, mate. I simply don't believe that scoring a number of goals will make a player more likely to keep scoring. Who says that a player with a higher rating wouldn't have scored the same or more goals in those very matches? All you showed is that a certain player didn't score in certain matches. You then changed opponents, formations, players, moral, form, condition and whatever else possibly effects the outcome of a match. Basically every parameter changed and then a lower rated player started to score goals. Statistically, you're left with data that neither reliable nor valid.
  19. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread I'm intrigued. I have been saying for quite some time now that it would be really interesting if someone tried to collect a larger amount of data and actually analyzed them.
