1. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread

Wayne Rooney Nominated for the 2012 Balon D'Or...:P:p

I almost spat my Glazed ring doughnut out my mouth (what a waste that would have been!)

Honestly what on Earth has he done to deserve a nomination......please explain??

You see the other names in the frame and it is laughable' date=' truely laughable[/quote']

And Ballotelli is there aswell? Yet Joe Hart isn't there :o

  2. Re: FIFA 13 Official Thread

Ha' date=' just a bit out of my depth on legendary really.

I like to set them up like this:

    [center']Vorm

    Rangel Chico Williams Taylor

    Ki

    Dyer Hernandez Michu Routledge

    Graham

Think Ki is brilliant in the game but Britton is nowhere near good enough on the game compared to his real life opinion especially defensively.

First season I rotated between Ki and Britton. Now the team has changed massively. Sold Vorm for £9.5m Michu for £7.5m. I play 4-2-3-1 works very well acutally with Ki and Veleso holding, Hernandez and Dyer on the wings and Sigurdoson as AM. Other notable players I have are : Butland, Richards, Kane, Oliveria, Powell, Rodriguez, Xhaka etc

Yeh' date=' got sacked and took them down :o:P

I'll probably try it again on world class rather than legendary, we're a good team to play with on the game.[/quote']

How did you take them down haha :D. Yes they are good the takeover helped me massively. Loving my team plenty of depth :), what formation did you play btw?

    Ulreich

    Clyne Williams Chico Taylor

    Ki Veloso

    Hernandez Dyer

    Glyfi Sig

    Graham

  4. Re: FIFA 13 Official Thread

Jazz Richards has 79 potential' date=' so it shouldn't be too long before his rating is better than Rangel.

Pretty silly that ratings start dropping at 30, and when they reach 35 players ratings drop by like 10 a season.[/quote']

Richards is 73 atm but wants to leave because I was playing Rangel over him, But I've got Clyne in who has 80+ potential and is 79 atm. I know Drogba was 75 when I checked, Gallas 66 which is the same as some Aberdeen CB'S :o.

Did you do a Swansea career ?

  5. Re: FIFA 13 Official Thread

Completely agree with you right there' date=' I mean a player who is 29/30 would sometimes be in their prime, look at players such as Andrea Pirlo who is past 30, who doesn't seem to be on the decline anytime soon! Just think in two years that could quite possibly mean Ronaldo would be dropping at a rapid rate, and it just doesn't click together. Very good point tbh mate![/quote']

EA have a lot to answer for, Leon Britton and Angel Rangel have gone down in ratings just because they reached 30 which means I have to replace two key players. Anyone else Career mode not saving automatically?

  6. Re: FIFA 13 Official Thread

Personally I'd only be bothered with that if I took over an ageing team' date=' with first teamers who were in their 30's, but it doesn't seem to affect me that much with signing younger players and watching them develop, which is a good thing tbh! :)[/quote']

I'm fine with the younger players, it's the fact that I have decent players aged 29/30 I want to play yet in two games time they could be -2. Yet in a season and a half a player I've played twice has gone +6. It annoying if you wanted to add experience to your team.

  7. Re: FIFA 13 Official Thread

Loving my Swansea carrear good fun' date=' I'm 9th after 21 games with 33 points, been offered the Chelsea job and also I'm the Russian manager. Been tough as Graham, Britton, Chico have all been out for three months. Went and got the takeover and this is my team:

    [center']Vorm (81)

    Rangel (74) Chico (76)/Hübschman Williams(77) Taylor(75)

    Veloso(80) Britton (75)

    Hernandez (77) Dyer(79)

    Michu (77)

    Graham(77)

    2ND XI

    McGregor(74)

    Richards(70) Bartley(72) Hubschman(75) Contento(71)

    Ki(74) Marrone(73)

    Cuenca(75) Routledge(75)

    De Guzman(76)

    Rodriguez(74)

Finished the season in 7th with 63 points, next season my target is to avoid relegation  Seems FIFA are copying SM now as when players hit 30 there ratings go down, and it's starting to get annoying.

    Butland(75)

    Clyne(82) Williams(79) Chico(80) Santon(81)

    Ki(79) Veloso(81)

    El Shaarwary(84) Dyer(81)

    Sigurðsson(83)

    Muriel(85)

    2ND XI

    McGregor(74)

    Richards(76) Bartley(77) Zouma(78) Robinson(74)

    Britton(73) Xhaka(79)

    Kelvin(76) Sterling(78)

    Powell(73)

    Kane(73)

  9. Re: Official World Cup 2014 Qualification Thread

GET THE ...WITH YOUR AWFUL REFEREE.One of the wrost I ever seen.Holland had an unexistent penalty and some stupid free kicks...Now Romania had a CLEAR Penalty and some corners and even some free kicks and some yellow cards for Holland.Thompson it was absolutely awful. He destroyed the game' date='Romania deserved at least a draw from this game...Absolutely dreadful. If I was one of Romania players I would just go and punch this twink from Scotland.[/quote']

He's Scottish our refs are god awful, just play in Blue and Green and you'll get the decisions ;)

  10. Re: The Politics Thread

You'll be 16 (at least) when it comes to voting - will you vote?

I think 16 is too young to be able to vote for independance' date=' how many 16 year olds will be able to come to a reasoned opinion on whether Scotland should stay in the UK? Yes there will be a fair few with a balanced opinion and mature enough mind to come to a decision, but how many will vote for independance purely to separate themselves from the English without thinking it through? The cut off age should be 18 for me.[/quote']

Yes, I'm 16 in two days time and yes I will vote. Missed the deadline for the recent vote by three days. In answer to the question not a lot, very few seem to be up with current affairs (a sad story) and I think many will say yes because it seems "cool" or because they hate the English or just because, at least my school tries to get people into politics. I doubt many 16 years old will vote anyway because they dont care or want to care really. The problem is many think that it doesn't affect them.
