  2. Re: Julio Gomez - u-17 Golden Ball Winner He workrate and working back to help MF and DF is amazing and he willingness for the cause of the team cannot be questioned but his ability on the ball was a bit hit and miss, some nice touches followed up by some bad. But he is still young and has plenty to learn, but did look rather promising from what i saw.
  3. Re: Isco (Next David Silva) Only just read he moved to Malaga I have a worry he is Wide/Foward and upfront there is Juanmi/Seb Fernandez/Rondon/Julio Baptista/Ruud van Nistelrooy, So ALOT of comp for places and then even if he plays MF he has to get ahead of Diego Buonanotte/Joaquín/ etc.. he may struggle getting some game time with them having a huge ammont of FWD/MF players, but for the price paid i think they see Isco as a backup player and if he gets his chance in Pre Season he will do well. But would you spend 7m Euros on a backup player? My advise would to be buy him for the fact he was bought for good money, probs may get a rise simply because of the move.
  4. Re: Samed Yesil (The Next Klose?) Still this argument over him choosing Germany over Turkey? Back on topic he has finished at the WC after being knocked out, ended with 6 Goals (2nd) and also has 5 assists (1st) Not bad
  5. Re: emre can next michael ballack!!! Emre Can reminds me SOOOOO much of Kevin Prince Boeteng, tries the tricks every given chance, strong and powerfull player. Looks very promising from what i saw, i was mainly watching Yesil but Can was the 2nd best standout for Germany, lets hope he gets a fair chance at Bayern.
  6. Re: Sani Emmanuel (Nigerian Wonderkid) Update: Been quite some time After his amazing run at the U17 WC he didnt really find him move, had trails at Chelsea and Spurs in EPL, Believe both didnt offer him a contract. Also had a trail with Greek side Panathinikos. But from a few month back has joined Lazio and will be playing for them this coming season. Will be placed in the Lazio Primavera (Or Youth/Resrerves) and he will hope to shine alongside good talented players like Gonzalo Barreto etc... Could be a good move for him but very early to judge.
  7. Re: Stefan Savic (Man City's New Vidic) Yeah saw the article this morning, but i cannot change the Main title of the thread so cannot change it If Savic goes to city the CB area is probs one of the weakest, with Toure banned and getting older at 30, Kompany played very well but sometimes is suspect at the back, Lescott is pretty poor, so Savic has a BIG chance to show himself in Pre Season he could get some 1st team action sooner than at many other clubs so would be a good move i reckon.
  8. Re: Isco No i meant "IF Mata leaves..."
  9. Re: Stefan Savic (Arsenal's New Vidic) Well both Man City and Arenal are interested in him, i expect if Jerome is sold then City will move for Savic, Arsenal's interest is weaker and have him as a backup option if they dont get other targets. I wouldnt be suprised if he leaves this Summer.
  10. Re: M'Baye Niang Nice Id be happy if Yahoo follow up this with a job offer haha Back on topic Caen have confirmed interest from teams from Europe, being Liverpool/Spurs/Man City and Juventus. But with El Arabi leaving for Genoa they do NOT want to sell M'Baye at all, but if anyone comes in with a Crazy offer they would accept. After talks between M'Baye and people at the club they both agree this is the best place for his learning and he would like to stay, and next season they see him a big part of the Caen team. He would take a big move i reckon, but he wont be pushing for a move lets put it like that
  11. Re: Isco Read comment above, i did that topic Talented young kid with Silva gone and Mata gone he will be the player they hope to step up, can score and assist, i feel has a big future ahead of him.
  12. Re: Timur Khakimov (Uzbekistan's New Hope) Odil Ahmedov He is an Anzhi atm (Team taken over with tones of money) but Arsenal have heavy scouted him, probs the best thing out of Uzbekistan could be heading to a Summer move to Arsenal.
  13. Re: Takashi Usami (Youngest player ever to play and score for Gamba) Could be hard for Takashi to make an impact for them to sign him, seen many loan to buy deals where the player just doesnt play well because of the pressure to make there mark and impress the team/manager. If Bayern give him a fair crack of the whip then he shall do enough for them to buy him, but with Nils Petersen plus others it may be hard for Takashi to get a good run in the Team.
  14. Timur Khakimov Bio: Date of birth:23.08.1994 Age: 16 Height: 1,69 Nationality: Uzbekistan Team: FC Pakhtakor Tashkent Position: Striker Stats: Under 17 World Cup in Mexico 4 Games 3 Goals Career: Khakimov plays for youth team of FC Pakhtakor. He played for the Uzbekistan U-16 national football team during the 2010 AFC U-16 Championship in Tashkent. In the 2010 AFC U-16 Championship, he scored 5 goals to be the top goalscorer of tournament with Takumi Minamino. He also secured the most Valuable Player Award of 2010 AFC Championship. On 26 February 2011, Samvel Babayan, the Vice President of FC Pakhtakor, said in a press conference in Tashkent that Khakimov will start to play for main Pakhtakor's squad for the 2011 season. My View: He has been doing very well in the Uzbek team thus far, has won awards for Leading Top Scorer in other Comps, With 3 goals already to his name and i can see he is a pure, natural born Poacher, Leads the line rather well and makes runs similar to Javier Hernandez, has the same predatory ability like Javier, Good with either foot a player who plays with FC Pakhtakor who came 2nd in 2010 Season in the Uzbekistan League. If he continues this form i see a host of clubs trying to buy this kid, from Uzbekistan he could be bought i think for really cheap and could turn out to be a great goalscorer for any league, Watch out for this kid. 15. Re: M'Baye Niang Yes it is, BUT Cesc did the same at that age, and being in England from France wouldnt be too hard to adjust to the UK, As his Family would probs move over, and many French players in London to help him adjust to the area. If he does move he will do fine, im just not sure how he will fit in at Spurs, 8M is alot for a Youth player/Backup. And from what i read from French articles, there is nothing concrete in the Bid, its just Interest from Spurs side, but they could move for him thought.
  16. Re: Samed Yesil (The Next Klose?) I was going to say Muller as his style, didnt know that, thanks TBH any German Natural born Poacher he resembles
  17. Samed Yesil Bio: Name: Samed Yesil Club: Bayer 04 Leverkusen Position: Forward Height: 1,78 Place of birth: Düsseldorf Date of birth (age): 25/05/1994 (17) Nationality: Germany/Turkey Country: Germany National Stats: FIFA Under 17's World Cup Mexico 2011 3 Games 2 Goals Germany U17 17 Games 15 Goals Germany U16 2 Games 3 Goals Club Stats: 2010/11 Season B-Jgd. BL West 14 Games 22 Goals 2 Assists 1240 Minutes A-Jgd. BL West 7 Games 2 Goals 427 Minutes Who is he like?: Miroslav Klose Samed plays as the Number 9 striker who is gifted at Poaching, most of his goals have been them much like Klose, seems a tad quicker than Miroslav has ever been, maybe a new age German striker, but i believe he has show he can score at all levels he has played at thus far and his ability to get goals and Poachers type of goals will give him a great chance of becoming a big player. 18. Re: Francesco Grandolfo (Bari's Young Shining Star) Ok sorry about that, the News doesnt seem official, as the Bari Owner/President said he is staying, not sure if he Co-Owned but ATM he doesnt seem to be.
  19. Re: Takashi INUI .... That is true, I created the 1st scouted thread on Takashi Usami back in 09, Also 1st scouted up Kagawa before he joined BvD, I see Takashi doing very well where-ever he goes, It all depends on where he moves though, Okazaki for example joined the wrong team for him, Where as Kagawa joined a team that suite him perfectly. He would thrive at a smaller club, a club like Nurmburg/Hannover96 etc...
  20. Re: Francesco Grandolfo (Bari's Young Shining Star) News: Francesco Grandolfo is now Co-Owned by Juventus, He will stay at Bari next season and (IF) he proves himself at Bari Juve will most likly buy the other 50% Only worry is if he does do well not sure how he would fit at Juventus, they have many Young/talented players that have not really got given a chance to shine. But next season will be a big test for him, in SerieB it will be tough, but i think he will do well
  21. Re: Takashi INUI .... Gets alot of assists, He is very unselfish and sometimes that just doesnt go noticed sometimes but with Modric,Fabregas,Oezil they can become a bigger name, His scoring ability isnt near Kagawa but will be a fantastic import to the Bundesliga. Good luck to him (IF) he moves.
  22. Re: M'Baye Niang Scored vs Olympique de Marseille on the 45th Minute Another goal from the 16 Year Old Hopefully he will kick on and have a massive breakout season next year like my picks Kagawa/Illic did He will help fill the void of the departing Youssef El Erabi who looks set to leave Caen.
