  1. Re: The Great British League - discussion thread Just passing through but wanted to check-in and re-affirm my commitment to keep Bangor going as long as there is a GW here. No longer use the forum or partake in anything other than the GBL and 1 GC that will go when my GM expires in a few months. Doubt i'll win the title this year as I've slipped to 13 points off the pace.
  2. Re: Gold Championship 1 News All the best gents. whoever gets the mighty Red Star had best look after them!
  3. Re: Gold Championship 100 Match Reports | Transfers Sorry boys but this is the end of the road for me. Thanks to all the 'long termers' for a great run.
  4. Re: The Great British League - discussion thread Bye gents. Thanks for a number of quality seasons in the GBL, have thoroughly enjoyed the ride. All the best.
  5. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Oh yeah - you are not dire. Let's hope the chef is right 'eh
  6. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Paul Scholes' call log....
  7. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Not sure who has called you dire?? If you could send Cabaye our way (and maybe Ben Arfa) it would be appreciated
  8. Re: Official Red Devils Thread I rest my case two teams. Thanks for your contribution. Mentality seems to be a key issue for us at the moment.
  9. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread Palace might have a chance with Pulis.....
  10. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Moyes has been dealt a potentially duff hand with some of the players he has to use. He needs to get what we have organised correctly for now and then strengthen when the opportunity arises. He makes too many changes from game to game at the moment for a team lacking in momentum and form. Playing three in the middle is an alternative he should be seriously considering for now. If you ain't got the quality, you need the quantity in the key central area.
  11. Re: Official Red Devils Thread 4-4-2 with inept CM's is always going to fail. You are right in that we are predictable. Michael Own said it in commentary - I've never seen a United side where the players on the ball have so few options.
  12. Re: Official Manchester City Thread No Silva/Nastasic - full strength aside
  13. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Morale is on the floor which just exasperates the poor quality littered around the team. Not expecting much of an improvement until Carrick is back to plaster over the midfield cracks tbh until we can make some decent additions. It's going to be painful for a while but if the end result is a flush out of the deadwood because we can no longer 'get by' with what we have then it'll be worth it down the line. Wouldn't hurt him to play 3 in the middle at the moment as there is no pair that we have that can cope with being outnumbered. In the meantime, we make painful viewing. Everything is one pace, sideways and with no urgency. Humbling time for our great club at the moment.
  14. Re: Available GC Teams (This is NOT a Discussion Thread) Borussia Dortmund Gc174 Ozil, Villa, Hummels, Nasri, Cazorla, Weidenfeller, Willian, Criscito, Bender, Kehl, Schmelzer, Affelay, Anyukov, Grosskreutz
  15. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread His temperament would be a major factor if I was given a choice between him and Aguero to have in my team. The other area I'm uncertain of is his ability to influence the 'big' games. Aguero has proven to be the man for the big moment and has always been a player I am very wary of facing. Suarez has never really looked great against my team so maybe this is an unfair perception that I have. I would rather face the current Liverpool with Suarez the focal point than face Liverpool with Torres in his pomp(with an inferior XI probably) . I fancy if Real Madrid or Barca were given the choice of the two, they would go with Aguero. Let me make it clear however that in terms of sheer football ability, Suarez is right up there on his day. Lately he is having a lot of them.
  16. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread Are you kidding? How is getting yourself banned for loads of games not something that affects you on the pitch? . . . This is an interesting debate however as I look at Suarez and you can't deny his quality. However, If I had to chose a striker that I 'fear' the most as a supporter of an opposition club, it has to be Aguero over Suarez. For me anyway.
  17. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread He't not stupid enough to get banned twice in one season, so..... Intelligence? Maturity?
  18. Re: Available GC Teams (This is NOT a Discussion Thread) Everton Gc109 Neuer, Podolski, Fellaini, Mkhitaryan, Richards, Jagielka, Coleman, Heitinga, Osman, Kolarov, Rakytskiy
