Re: Ze Roberto buy?

He is a good short term buy. Keep in mind that he may drop soon, but how soon is the question. If he helps you in 20/30 games before his drop, then it will be worth the purchase. When his TB is up you should have him on the TL with a bid from external ready for when he does drop. :)

Re: Ze Roberto buy?

If a player retires your chairman gives you back his [the chairmans] value of the player at the end of the season.

Ze Roberto plays for Al-Gharafa in Qatar and they done get reviewed that often so should help him prolong his 91 rating for longer. He plans to leave Qatar at the end of the last 6 months of his deal and has no plans to retire as of yet.He has said that when his current contract is up [6 months time] he will either go back to Germany or Brazil to resume his playing career.

Here is a copy of an article in supersport from just a few days ago.

Fink scotches Ze Roberto Hamburg return

11 January 2012, 14:42

Former Brazil international Ze Roberto, who quit Hamburg to play for Qatari club Al Gharafa last summer, on Wednesday saw his chances of a return to the Bundesliga club scotched by coach Thorsten Fink.

The 37-year-old former Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich player last week complained that life in the gas-rich Gulf state was too dull and that he was eager to play once again in a high-level league.

But Fink rejected any notion of a return to Hamburg for the Brazilian, saying: "He's a very good player but he's no longer on our radar. We'd prefer to give a chance to younger players."

Ze Roberto said that he had no intention of prolonging his contract in Qatar, which has six months to run.

"After the summer, it'll be either a return to Germany or Brazil," he said last week.
