i have the same thing with ashley cole in my chelsea team, hes technically not injured but his fitness is only 66%. i suppose its just like in real life, a player can be free from injury, but it still takes time for them to recover match fitness. for example michael owen. he is injury free yes, but match fit no. hope this helps:)

All you have to do is play them eg. as a sub at about 75 min for like 3 games and it will make them match fit again but make sure you give the player more match time like 15 min first game, half hour second game and 45 min 3rd game, then just rest them and there fitness will go up. :):D :D :D
