Re: WEBS League - Opened 9th Feb

I really enjoy playing in this league' date=' I don't get why people are so negative about it, I mean SM did ruin the concept but we've sort of got around it, and I'm confident that this setup will still be good in a few seasons time :)

Got Rotherham tonight for my Swindon, hoping for a win of course to keep pushing towards promotion :D Then again, they've got the Ox...[/quote']

I love this GW as it's with my local team Southend

and Division 4 is so tight,Im 3rd after i win two on the bounce

I'm only two points away from relagation with 3 games left

Re: WEBS League - Opened 9th Feb

Aston Villa 0 - 3 Arsenal

I think we're pretty much Champions as United drop points again. Goals came from Kakuta x2 and Rhodes. Dominated the match really but Villa have created a few chances.

This is how the table looks like with 3 matches to go :

1 ARSENAL 11 20 30

2 Manchester United 11 7 22

3 Sunderland 11 11 20

4 Liverpool 11 -1 16

5 Tottenham Hotspur 11 -4 12

6 Manchester City 11 -11 10

7 Aston Villa 11 -11 9

8 Chelsea 11 -11 7

Re: WEBS League - Opened 9th Feb

And I beat Rotherham 2-1 away' date=' with a goal from Alex Grimaldo winning it in the 87th minute. Well played to the Rotherham manager.

And massive thanks to the Plymouth manager, who beat Bradford which means that I'm 3 points clear :D

The pleasure was all mine.......Get it right and I may be joining you in Div 3 next season;)

This league still has the potential to be good but if people aren't following the rules, then what is the point?

Wed 28 March

Free Agent Raheem STERLING has moved to Luton Town for £448,000.

Luton had a budget of 200k left

Re: WEBS League - Opened 9th Feb

Gerard Deulofeu returned from the Broken metatarsal injury he picked up on the first day of the season ! - But i still lost and relegation looks very likely :(

Bristol Rovers 2-3 Port Vale

Brian Ferreira poked the ball over the line in a goalmouth scramble, Cristian Tello put vale level after half time with a header, Maximilian Arnold rounded the keeper and finished into a empty net to put Bristol back in the lead, Fede Vico poached and scored for vale to make it two each, Vico then scored again after a error in the bristol defence, 2-3 Vale !

1 Swindon Town 11 4 19

2 Bradford City 11 1 16

3 Southend United 11 0 16

4 Plymouth Argyle 11 1 15

5 Port Vale 11 2 14

6 Oxford United 11 0 14

7 BRISTOL ROVERS 11 -6 12

8 Rotherham United 11 -2 9

Not good at all ! We have got 3 games left, Its good that Gerard is back from injury but i doubt he will get us out of relegation on his own, its positive to see hes played 2 games this season and got 2 assists to his name especially when you see the player with the most assists has only got 4 in our league! I need him to score a few goals !

Thu 5 Apr Division 4 [H] - Bradford City

Sun 8 Apr Division 4 [A] - Oxford United

Thu 12 Apr Division 4 [H] - Rotherham United

Re: WEBS League - Opened 9th Feb

Arsenal 1 - 2 Liverpool

Our celebrations are being put on hold for the moment by Liverpool. We took the lead after 5 minutes trough Kakuta but then two goals from Sosa in the 46th and 58th minute completed the comeback for Liverpool. This was only our second defeat in 10 matches. And with United winning, pressure is added on our shoulders. Hopefully we can win the league at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

NOBLE - IMMOBILE

Leicester 1 - 2 West Ham

ciro-immobile.jpeg

Great Performance of West Ham that won against a dangerous Leicester. Immobile scored the first gol and Noble-Lazarus the second. For the play-off will be an italian derby (Andre97 :D).

Re: WEBS League - Opened 9th Feb

Chris Share was unable to prevent a Crystal Palace defeat to Coventry City.

Crystal Palace lost 5 - 2 to Coventry City in a thrilling Division 2 encounter.

Owen scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Montano was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Was devastated by this defeat against bottom side....

especially as stats gave an even game with 6 shots on target each!

Even so as results went my way am promoted! yey :P

Bring on TheMar AFc.....B)

Free Agent Raheem STERLING has moved to Luton Town for £448,000.

What's going on?

I'm sure a lot of people would want him, but we're ON A TRANSFER BAN. Why do Luton think they can buy other players but no-one else can?
