Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

Kieran Hepworth steered Boca Juniors to victory against Ajax.

Boca Juniors beat Ajax 1 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.

Aguero scored the winner for Boca Juniors and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

My reserved Argentine Aguero leads the way in an opening day victory:D

SAO PAULO gain a point

SAO PAULO 1 MAN UNITED 1

Sao Paulo are totally outplayed. Barzagli , an international centre back was made to look flop of the night with a rating of 4. Turned inside out by ROONEY.

However Sao Paulo have a fighting spirit and Manchester were heading for a defeat save for a dubious onside goal from that man Rooney on 89'

Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

Real Madrid 3 - 2 Bayern München

Real Madrid beat Bayern München 3 - 2 in their Division 1 fixture. Fabregas scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Schurrle was also on the scoresheet for his side.

The match was end to end stuffs with both sides drawing 15 shots each. Bayern had a remarkable accuracy of 12 shots on target but only managed to convert 2, while Real knocked home 3 goals with just 4 on target.

Real Madrid survived a late scare when Ganso cut the lead to 1 at the 85th minute. The Spanish club's resilient defence is commendable, but the brain and trickery from Fabregas and Sanchez decided the game.

Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

Benfica 3 - 1 Feyenoord

What more can i ask for?

Star Player Nani grabbed a stunning brace as Soccermanager described them...

19' Goal GOAL!! - Lightning quick Luís NANI bursts into the box and lashes home from 15-yards!

57' Goal GOAL!! - The ball is played square to Luís NANI on the edge of the box who rasps home a screamer!

Captain Pepe started the scoring on 6 minutes.

3 points in the bag sees us off and running next up Schalke 04.

PS sorry for no build up i was on cloud nine from the North London Derby.

Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

Kaito, it was a good match with your team yesterday, should have quite a spectacle for the audience if the match was played in front of a live crowd with real action.

Your prediction was the players to watch was also pretty spot on, especially for your team.

Look forward to meeting you at Estadio Do Drago again in a month time or so, do go easy on me tht :P

Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

Everything went downhill for Lyon in their first match. Plan was bigger possession - it was 41%, cut off Ba - he got two assists, close down Walcott - he scored twice. Indeed, offense did their job but this time it was not enough

Chelsea - Lyon 3:2

Walcott 15,21 Gourcuff 23

Meireles 53 Drogba 57

LA GAZZETTA DE MILAN

FIORENTINA1-3MILAN

AC Milan routed fellow Italian opposition, Fiorentina, 3-1 in Florence to go top of Group D in the SMFA CL. Milan dominated the game and enjoyed 55% of possesion and had Portugese centre back Ricardo Carvalho open the scoring in the 7th minute. 3 minutes from half time, Italian forward Giuseppi Rossi, volleyed home a sweet finish to ensure the Rossoneri went into half time 2-0 up. Just after the hour mark, Rossi struck again completing his amazing brace and ensuring Milan of the three points. But ten minutes later, Amauri pulled a goal back for Fiorentina but it proved to be solely a consolation. Milan were sharp infront of goal with 14/18 shots on target while Fiorentina managed only 7/18 shots on goal. Rossi was the undisputed man of the match for his brace.

SAO Paulo in preparation for 1st home game of the season tomorrow night.

Busquets is out, still struggling with an injury

To the Chelsea man Kingzz, just you continue with that short passing game cause my strikers are looking forward to all those stray backpasses

That's a new signing right? Not sure where my squad value is but I'm happy with my squad and it'll get stronger as with real Real!
