Real's Title Hopes All But Over

Real Madrid's hopes of winning the league title has taken a huge blow after suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of current leaders FC Schalke 04. Goals from Adebayor and Pirlo in the first half is enough to secure the win for the German side. The game overall was relatively even but it was a deserved victory as Schalke 04 looked and played more like a team. They are currently leading by only 1 point over River Plate.

Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

Sao Paulo can only draw against unmanaged team that luckily for them chose 451 formation.

Barcelona play them next where no doubt they will play 433 and get smashed

Real Madrid the big winner this weekend....after comments that he was out of the title race which I never thought was the case.

Evoked prob facing his bogey team next though;)

Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

Sao Paulo my bogey team? lol.. Maybe that can change. Not very optimistic about my league title chase though. A narrow win over Bayern puts me 5 points behind the leader, all top 3 were held by draws, but that is still quite a hill to climb, currently only 6th.

Dramatic Cup Win for Barcelona in the ANP Cup, very 1st Trophy in game.

Great effort given by Evoked's player in the Al Classico Cup match, especially they were unlucky to be reduce to ten man in the 1st half with the red card to Fabregas.

And they defended stoutly till the 86 min where the only difference, A.Iniesta broke thru to score with a scorcher, continuing his fanatic form in Euro12. Hope to see him raise to 98 in SM with his player of the tournament award :D

Jgos2, do go easy on evoked on Evoke this thursday, his team is quite walking wounded now :P.

Dedicate this cup win to the recovering Abidal in real life, hope to still see you on the pitch next season!

Poor performance from the lad. Got beaten by Corinthians 4-1. Sitting at 7th place now and 10 points difference from the league leader - Feyenoord.

Van Klinkert Delarosa II was unable to prevent a Liverpool defeat to Corinthians.

Liverpool slumped to a 4 - 1 defeat to Corinthians in their Division 2 fixture.

Gyan was on the scoresheet for his side.

Re: A Nation’s Pride (ANP 2012)

3-0 defeat to Valencia effectively ends any Real Madrid rally. Will probably spend some time to review formation for next season... perhaps game plan is outdated.

FC Schalke 04 & River Plate extend their lead from the pack in the D1 table.

Smoky BBQ steered Valencia to victory against fierce rivals Real Madrid.

Valencia outclassed Real Madrid and beat them 3 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.

Dzeko scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Martínez and Modric were also amongst the goalscorers.

At least some credit from a miserable season against fellow dvoked

Real Madrid invest big in youngsters after poor results from current season sparked the fury of transfers involving mainly fresh blood. Real signed 6 players in 24 hours including some very promising names such as Alvaro Vazquez, Jose Campana and Alex Fernandez. It is clear that the Spanish club is looking towards the future and eager to put the current season behind and prepare for the next season.
