Countering A (Very) Strong 4-3-3

Need some help on an upcoming fixture of mine, I'm playing against the league leaders (Man Utd) who have an average of 94 if they play their strongest formation. Which would probably look like this

Cech

Ivanovic | Vidic | Pique | Chiellini

Ozil | Cambiasso | Robben

Pedro | Villa | Aguero

No arrows used.

Styles

Normal Tackling

Normal Mentality

Mixed Passing

Mixed Attacking

Slow Tempo

Pressing Own Half

Counter-Attack

Men Behind Ball

Tight Marking

Offside Trap

Target Man

Playmaker

I usually play a 3-5-2, but that doesn't seem to work out so well this season as I'm not playing as good as I want in most matches. And especially against a top team like Utd I need some help as I already lost the away match.

Abiatti

Sagna | Hummels | Coentrao

Fletcher

Hazard | Moutinho | Gotze | Di Maria

Ibrahimovic | Higuain

Arrows forward for Hazard and Di Maria.

Styles

Hard Tackling

Attacking Mentality

Mixed Passing

Mixed Attacking

Normal Tempo

Pressing Own Half

Counter-Attack

Offsided Trap

Target Man

Playmaker

Which formation/tactics would be the best to beat Man Utd in your opinion?

Re: Countering A (Very) Strong 4-3-3

Call it negative, but i usually go defensive against very strong teams.

Defensive/ultra defensive mentality. Counter attacking, men behind ball.

4-5-1, 5-4-1, maybe sweeper or 4-3-3 wingers i like. Tends to create a very tight low scoring game, but i have recorded a few shocks, i beat a league leader 5-1 using counter attacking. Also a good few 1-0, 2-1s.

Just a suggestion.

Re: Countering A (Very) Strong 4-3-3

Anyone else got any suggestions?

play

4-5-1 defensive

forward arrows on full backs, all 4 attacking midfielders (so no arrows on the DM)

mentality: attacking

tackling: strong

passing: mixed

tempo: fast

Use counter attack, Men behind ball, tight marking, use playmaker (your best AM/CM (preferably 94+), use target man (your best CF/fwd (again, 94+ is best)

Re: Countering A (Very) Strong 4-3-3

Just want to say thanks for the contributions guys! Beat Utd 1-0 using Voltage 4-5-1 tactics with .El Nino's 4-2-4 as backup which I didn't need in the end.

Only goal came from the German superstar Mario Gotze with a perfect input/output: 1 shot on target, 1 goal.

Bit weird match btw. I had 64% but Utd had 19 shots (7 on target) versus my 6 shots (1 on target) :o

But a win is a win :)
