Re: The REAL World Championship

Ok so with the small amount of people taking part in the u-23 this season, I was thinking we should try out a different format. As far as I'm aware there is only 6 teams taking part, so I thought it should go like this.

Group Stage

Group 1

Atletico Madrid

Dortmund

Lyon

Group 2

Marseille

Milan

Inter

Semi Finals

Semi-final 1: Group 1 Winner v Group 2 Winner

Semi-final 2: Group 2 Runner Up v Group 1 Runner Up

Preliminary Final

Semi-final 1 looser v Semi-final 2 winner

Final

Semi-final 1 Winner v Preliminary final winner

So what do you guys reckon? Sound good?

Re: The REAL World Championship

Steven Orleandy steered Juventus to victory against Manchester United.

Juventus beat Manchester United 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Robinho scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Evra was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Nice win.. Robbie got injured though. :P

On a more solemn note however, I might not be able to stay in this world much longer as I seek to focus more on my studies. Being my FIRST custom, this GW holds a very special place to my heart, and it pains me to say this. But I think the GW has gone a bit stale, credit to Pro, Peter and Lemon for their tremendous work in handling the U-23 competition, but after a while i find it becomes a bit of a chore.

The interactivity has also gone off the boil in recent months. i joined this for the fun and communication, which has unfortunately seeped away as interest faded and mangers left. However, as the saying goes, not all good things last forever, and I may return one day.

I will be leaving within the next few days, so if anyone wants to buy any players, do contact me..

Regards,

kdBz

Re: The REAL World Championship

BREAKING NEWS: MORGAN SACKED!

Milan manager Peter Morgan has officially been sacked by the San Siro outfit.

This comes after growing pressure following a string of poor results at the start of the season which has seen the champions slump to the bottom of the league on 4 points after 6 games. It is unknown as yet who will be the Englishman's successor at the club, or where Morgan will go next in his rollercoaster ride of a career.

Resigned at Inter to move to Manchester United - would have been happy for Man Utd to enter under 23 in Inter's place however i only have 10 players under 23 and 2 of them are goalkeepers

Re: The REAL World Championship

Well after the first round of the U-23 comp Atletico Madrid beat Lyon 3-2. However Lyon fielded players of the age of 23 and so then automatically forfeit 3-0. I'm guessing the other group hasn't set their friendlies then..

Yeah, forgot to change my tactics

Good work, but I see this competition is dying out a bit...
