Re: Serie A Ratings Changes 2011-12 (II)

Good work mate, nice to see the time and effort put into this.

decent thread' date=' well done.

i would add Lavezzi 91 - 91/92

cheers a tiny chance tbf.

I would agree to this mate, Lavezzi is just as important to Napoli as Cavani. I personally think both will rise this time round.

Sensible predictions? Have you read these Palermo ones.. Definitely a Palermo hater at that or just generally doesn't know much about football.

yeaa pal, if they dont rise this time round then they are sure to at the end of the season!

Are you sure that Sneijder will drop?

i personally think he will, he has played poorly for a under-performing Inter side all season.

a new manager (after Ranieri sacking today) will hopefully install some confidence and reassurance in Wesley. if not a move could also be on the cards if anyone decides to pay his wages.

Chill out mate. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who would say Palermo are having a good season. Think that a lot of their players with high-ish ratings and low-ish minutes are at risk of dropping. Only Rubinho (who has been released) is predicted to definitely drop.

Out of interest, what else do you think will happen?

Re: Serie A Ratings Changes 2011-12 (II)

Cavani not 100% increase ???

Compare!

- Edinson Cavani rating 91 - 34 Appearances, 24 Goals, 5 Assists !

- Diego Milito rating 92 - 30 Appearances, 12 Goals, 2 Assists

- Mirko Vucinic rating 92 - 24 Appearances, 5 Goals, 7 Assists

your comparing Cavani with players who will not rise

compare Cavani to someone like Alexis Sanchez who has a decent chance of rising.

Re: Serie A Ratings Changes 2011-12 (II)

Sneijder will drop for sure. He isnt playing as good as Silva or Fabregas. As for Cavani, he should rise 100% because he is playing better than most 92 rated players out there except for Di Natale who has a similar record to him. Cavani is playing better than Torres and Tevez and is playing as good as Benzema too yet he plays for Napoli. I dont see why he shouldnt rise.

Re: Serie A Ratings Changes 2011-12 (II)

Out of interest, why do you see Mexes as potentially dropping? Since coming back from injury around December he's been pretty much first team in table topping Milan, and he's been playing well. I thought it was a harsh drop to 91 first time round, given that he was out injured - would be very surprised if they dropped him to 90 this time.

He wont drop in my opinion, it would be VERY harsh if he did. I dont know why he is down to drop but everyone has there own opinions. I dont think he will drop and will explain here with detail. He will not drop because he has replaced Nesta quite well to be fair and has played 9 out of the 13 Serie A games since his drop and has lost none of those with 6 clean sheets. Very good in my opinion. He didnt play in three games because of his ban for what he did but I dont think he should drop for that as its was a short term ban so he can still continue playing and It's about how good he is as a defender. He also was part of that 4-0 win against Arsenal. The only game that he has been a part of that he lost since his last drop was the 2nd leg against Arsenal.

Re: Serie A Ratings Changes 2011-12 (II)

Yeah, exactly how I was thinking 123_ABC.

Just wanted to question the author of the ratings, as overall I think his ratings are extremely good - this one was just a stand out for me as being well off the mark.

If Milan do go on to win the league, and Mexes plays as he's been doing lately (even having some valuable assists!) then he's surely close to pushing for re-instatement to a 92!

Forgot he was out injured for so long, when I looked at his stats he seemed overrated. But agree, he has played well since coming back and doubt he will drop again. 91 seems more than fair atm.

Re: Serie A Ratings Changes 2011-12 (II)

Will Munoz or Neuton drop?

im not sure on neuton but i know Munoz of Palermo wont drop. although he hasnt played much this season, he has filled in when needed to. he is still a young lad aswell and learning his trade and one to watch for the future.

Agree - doubt Neuton will drop either. Munoz is only "at risk of SM" in my eyes due to Palermo's poor season. Wouldn't rush to buy him on the other hand..
