Tauro 1 - 0 FK Dečić

Van Klinkert Delarosa steered Tauro to victory against FK Dečić.Tauro beat FK Dečić 1 - 0 in their Division 2 fixture.

Joseph-monrose scored the winner for Tauro and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Luckiest win ever. I'll take that. :P

We certainly put up a good fight.

Van Klinkert Delarosa was unable to prevent a Tauro defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.Tauro slumped to a 2 - 1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in their Division 2 fixture.

Kovačić was on the scoresheet for his side.

Still first. But not really confident about being up there when the time comes.

Look at that table. 2 Angels and 1 Minion tailing me real close. Just a few point separate us. Might aswell go down to the GD tho. Lucky we scored many.

Not really comfortable, but enjoying this. This is the second attempt for me to climb up to Heaven. After first attempt crushed out at the very last match of the season. I think we might need to win all last 3 game to be crown champions.

Ghora (Forum) was unable to prevent a Granit defeat to Real Madrid.

Granit were given a football lesson by Real Madrid as they were hammered 5 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.

Granit have suffered their biggest ever home league defeat after losing 0 - 5 to Real Madrid.

Outstanding finish befitting of a scintillating season. :P

END OF SEASON REPORT

The third Season of Purgatory came to it's thrilling conclusion last night and a few key things have happened in another successful year.

heavensparkles.gif

MINION RULES!

The biggest story of the game world is that the prophecy foreseen has now come to pass! The mighty Minion Cules have completed their third successive top of the table finish, firstly breaking free of Hell in Season I, destroying Purgatory in Season II, and now conquering Heaven in Season III.

MORTAL PROGRESS!

Mortal Petrovac continued their trend of a better finish with each passing season. After being the Mortal to get into Heaven in Season I, and impressive 8th place finish saw them stay up in Season II, and now a new high for the Mortals as Petrovac have finished top of the bottom half of Heaven with a commendable 6th place finish.

AGUIAS GLOOM!

Aguias are the loosing Angel in Season III, amassing a pitiful 12 points in a largely disappointing Season. Aguias will join fellow Angels Lupi, and Saint in trying to defend The Stairway To Heaven from two Minion threats in Season IV.

purgatorylogo.jpg

A MORTAL TAKES THE STAIRWAY!

Tauro, who pushed Petrovac to the final day in Season I, have managed to secure a place on the Stairway just 2 seasons later impressively finishing 4 points ahead of the Minion threat Borussen who will fight once more in Season IV. Tauro become the second Mortal to get into Heaven in the quest to defeat evil and banish the Minions all back to Hell.

ANGELS FAIL TO STOP MINIONS!

It must be said that the Angels will be largely disappointed with their efforts in Season III. Not only did they succumb to the Minions at the first chance they could by losing control of Heaven, but the two Angels in Purgatory failed to defend the Stairway to Heaven for the second successive year. Mortal Tauro took the stairway, so blushes spared as the Minions also failed to land that place. However both Saint (3rd), and Lupi (5th!) both failed to finish ahead of Borussen and this will have to change next season as another Minion joins the battleground Division looking for that Stairway finish.

FJOLNIR DRAGGED INTO HELL!

Fjolnir are the latest Mortal to to fall into Hell. For much of the Season it was a three way tussle for survival between them, Vindava, and Prestatyn. A loss to Angel Saint on the final day was the last nail in the coffin and Fjolnir will now be the third Mortal to succumb to the heavy load and face next season in Hell.

hellburns.gif

THE MIGHTY BLANCO BREAK LOOSE!

On paper, Blanco are the most fearsome Minion out there! Both Season I and II had been forgettable 5th, and 6th place finishes respectively for the vicious Demon but they made good in Season III finishing an impressive 7 points over nearest rival Roten.

MORTALS IN MIXED FORTUNES!

Two Mortals endured a long, hard Season in Hell and although both were well behind breaking back into Purgatory there was some hope. Montaneros first taste of torture wasn't quite as bad as might have been expected. The Spaniard finished 6th with an impressive 25 points, even more impressive is the fact they finished ahead of three Minions (Devil, Stamford, and Biscione). More is required next Season but Season III's showing is a good platform to build upon.

The other Mortal Granit didn't fair quite so well with a second successive finish at the foot of the structure. On the plus side, an extra 6 points were earned this campaign in contrast to Season II single figure points haul (9).

summaryr.png

  • Another great Season has finished as the Game World continues to tell both stories of greatness and despair. Season IV is just 2 weeks away and we'll see another chapter of history written into folklore and additions to the tales already written thus far.

  • In Heaven, for the first time ever there will be two Mortal fighting to reclaim the promised land from the vice-grip of evil as Petrovac and Tauro stand as the only forces of purity within striking distance of the prize. The evil Minion Cules will be looking to repeat and create a stranglehold on the Everlife by once again finishing on Heaven's Throne. Heaven will now be made up of Seven Angels, One Minion, and Two Mortals.

  • In Purgatory, another Angel and another Minion join the battlefield Division as one Mortal heads each direction to make way. The wasteland is now made up of three Angels, two Minions and only five Mortals.

  • Finally, in Hell, Seven Minions are still trying to break free, and three Mortals will either stand up and join the fight or be demolished in the carnage of the endless inter-Minion Warfare.

  • A major plus point for the Mortals in Season IV is that they get their first ratings boost in the GameWorld! Mortals will have more dangerous weapons at their disposal than ever before and this will only serve to add to the possibilities and fortunes of the brave souls lost in spiritual limbo. (DON"T BID ON 80+ RATED PLAYERS UNTIL SEASON IV HAS BEGUN!)

What will Season IV have in store for each entity in each zone of the most gripping Structure imaginable?

Season IV begins January 1st, 2013

Re: PURGATORY - The most volatile landscape in Soccer Manager

For those of you that have not visited in the last 24 hours, January 1st was not just the start of a real life new year!

seasoniv.gif

With the arrival of Season IV, the Mortals of Purgatory are now permitted to purchase players of a rating up to and including 85.

All players of this rating and lower are legal to buy, regardless of whom they play.

Happy bidding, and good luck to all for a successful Season IV campaign.

Your chairman has increased the capacity of the Stadium by 35,413 seats. The new capacity has now increased to 36,413.
The chairman has decided to invest a further £28,596,341 into Fjölnir.

Some real top players there, congrats! Knew I couldn't afford any bidding wars so had to go for some less spectacular targets, but happy with them so far:

TAARABT, Adel

ADÁN, Antonio

JENKINSON, Carl

SON, Heung-min

CASNOS, Luc

WILLEMS, Jetro

AMAT, Jordi

LEITNER, Moritz

BARTRA, Marc

Was half expecting a cash injection / stadium increase for those still in Purgatory (Div 2) as there are 5 Mortals and 5 non-Mortals in the division now. No such luck :(

Also, a belated congratulations to Vendetta and Tauro, a mighty feat by getting into Heaven!!
