Think you've managed your club a long time?: A tribute to EC1

Recommended Posts

On Saturday I celebrated 500 games in charge of Chesterfield in EC1 (probably more but not sure cup/shield games are included in the history stats), a team I have been managing for the last 5 years (give or take a few months).

Knowing that I'm still far from being the longest-serving manager in EC1 and how there are so few vacancies that appear, got me to thinking about just how dedicated EC1 managers are when compared to other EC's.

EC1 may not have the most active thread anymore but for loyalty, endurance, history and longevity the stats show it is still number 1 :)

So despite my 5 years with Chesterfield, I just about manage to squeeze into the top 14, let alone the top 10

I've never been in EC2 or EC3 so I suspect that there might be a right few old-timers in those and other older gameworlds - but I can't imagine that there are too many more members of the "700+ club".....?
