Just a heads up Master' date=' Rooney is suspended for the first two games (France and Sweden), so you might want to change the FGS on your England-France prediction :)[/quote']

Benzema will score the first one anyway :D

Re: Euro 2012 Predict

its okay' date=' no problem..

just suggestion..how about we take it further..

who is gonna win euro.. my prediction is spain(again):P[/quote']

It's too late to introduce it in the prediction area (and I also didn't want to include it when I started the thread as I didn't want to make it too complicated with naming the FGS, ESB, 2 teams to progress) but of course we can discuss here about who to win it.

My bet (and hope) would be Germany. But I also wouldn't be too surprised to see a team like Italy or France winning it. Spain still has the best squad but I doubt they will win.

Re: Euro 2012 Predict - Discussion Thread

Spain looks tired. Strong squad but make-shift defense and offense could turn out to be shoddy by their ridiculously high standards.

Germany looks like the pre-tournament favorite.

No confidence in England. Hope they do well, but they look too tired.

If Gomez and Klose both get injured or tank, Podolski/Muller moves up?

Re: Euro 2012 Predict

Anyone else be interested in getting a summary of these predictions and then applying them to see what the general consensus is regarding results? Like an prediction overview of te opening games.

Would definitely be interesting. If you want to do this, then feel free to do it.

However I'd ask you then not to post your results before the first game starts. So it would assure that you would get the predictions of all members and nobody would get influenced by this post in his own predictions.

Word to that. No worries I will have another look once it kicks off - can't promise I won't be too distracted by the actual football at that stage tho!:D
