what the heck... :confused:

I can only think of one logical solution.

Bayern Munich are very likely to sell some players in real life soon.

When this happens.

I have £500m in my bank account at Dortmund.

If real life Bayern sell players to real life clubs,

that are external teams in this gameworld.

{ For example: Rafinha is sold to Celtic }

I WILL BUY THOSE SAME PLAYERS from Zlook, for maximum price instead.

{ So I would buy Rafinha for the highest possible fee }

If real life Bayern sell players to real life clubs,

that are managed teams in this gameworld.

{ For example: Rafinha is sold to Valencia }

I would ask all managers to buy players from Bayern Munich,

for THE HIGHEST FEE THEIR CHAIRMAN WILL ALLOW

.................................................................................

This will help to improve the finances at Zlooks, Bayern Munich.

{ obviously I will not use any of the external club players,

and I will sell them as soon as their transfer bans are complete}

If anyone has an alternative solution,

you are more than welcome to make a suggestion.

Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED!

I AM HAVING A RE-THINK OF THE RULES

Looking at the squads of clubs like Lyon and Malaga.

I realise that they have a strong disadvantage,

to many of the other clubs.

This will probably mean, managers are reluctant to take them,

because they are likely to be sacked for relegation.

SO

Here's what I am thinking now.

All of my new rules will remain exactly the same!!!

BUT

Instead of the sacking the bottom 3 managers from Division 1,

and the bottom 4 managers from Division 2.

I AM GOING TO CHANGE THIS RULE ONLY

The new rule is...

The managers of the bottom 3 teams from Division 1,

and the bottom 2 teams from Division 2.. WILL BE FIRED

[1] If they have been in charge of that club for at least 3 league games.

[2] If the club was not already relegated when they took charge.

[3] If the manager has not won a trophy in that season.

................................................................................

................................................................................

This is more fair.

It gives managers of weaker squads more of a fighting chance to survive.

All other rules will remain the same.

I will update the New Rules list immediately.

Agree with what you're saying, but wouldn't it make sense to keep the bottom 3 in div 1 sacked? As they actually get relegated? So, DIV 1 bottom 3 and DIV 2 bottom 2 (for the reasons you said re MALAGA etc...)

Just, as I said, because bottom 3 in div one actually get relegated - would make sense if they were sacked....

Ok I can agree to that.

I'll re-write the rules to reflect this.

Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED!

***NEW RULES***NEW RULES***NEW RULES***NEW RULES***

As season 4 is almost complete.

I would like to clarify the new rules' date=' to begin on season 5

..............................................................................

- Managers can only change clubs ONCE per season.

- A manager cannot leave a club until they have managed them for at least,

THREE league matches.

- The bottom 3 teams from Division 1, and bottom 2 teams from Division 2.

The managers of these clubs will be sacked at the end of the season,

if they HAVE managed the club for a minimum of 3 league matches.

The only thing to stop these managers from being fired is:

[1'] If they have won ANY trophy that season, even if it was at a different club.

[2] If they have been in charge for LESS than 3 league matches.

[3] If the club was already relegated before they took charge.

- When a manager is fired.

They are not banned from the gameworld.

They will go onto the manager shortlist and a new club will be given to them.

** It is still important where you finish in the league,

even if your team is relegated. **

AT THE END OF THE SEASON

when you are fired and go back onto the manager shortlist.

The order for who will get a new club works as follows:

[1] New managers that are patiently waiting to join the gameworld.

[2] 8th place in Division 1

[3] 9th place in Division 1

[4] 10th place in Division 1

[5] 9th place in Division 2

[6] 10th place in Division 2

HOW DOES THE SHORTLIST WORK during the season????

- When a job becomes available.

ALL managers { except those who have already changed club that season }

can put their name forwards.

I will set a deadline for the applications.

The manager who's team is highest positioned in the league at that time,

will get the new job.

If none of the gameworld managers want the job.

Then the new managers, who have applied to join the gameworld, will get the vacancy.

And this will be a simple first come first serve selection.

FINALLY

And this is very important.

When you buy or sell players.

You only need to do this for Chairman Value.

{don't waste your money}

Please, please, please wait for the Soccer Manager database to update the move, BEFORE you make the transfer.

If you jump the gun and buy or sell a player,

and then that transfer breaks down in real life,

even though it looked a certainty to happen.

Then you will damage this gameworld.

SM use Soccer Wiki as their official game updater.

Any questions at any time.

Send me a message or post them on the forum.

Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED!

LOAN PLAYERS

If a player is on loan to another club in real life.

Then you must sell him to an external club.

You cannot buy him back,

until he has returned to your club in real life.

For example:

[1] Neves Denilson is on loan to Sao Paulo,

so Arsenal cannot buy him.

[2] Jean-Christophe Bahebeck is on loan to ES Troyes,

so PSG cannot buy him.
