mark_14 603
Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 176:. - Revolution of the Turks - Panathinaikos 1-0 Panionios Adam Johnson (32) Adam Johnson has yet again proved his importance to Panathinaikos as he earns them all 3 points with the only goal of the game. This win allows Panathinaikos to keep the momentum going as they have won there first two games of the season. And these wins are helped out my Adam Johnson's great start to the campaign. Panathinaikos completely outplayed Panionios having 62% possession with 13 shots at goal. However, a major flaw in there game has been discovered as only two of them hit the target. But lucky enough for Panathinaikos, one of them shots belonged to Adam Johnson with a beautiful low shot which bent into the bottom corner on 32 minutes. This was the only goal of the game but was enough to secure Panathinaikos the points and the man of the match award for Johnson. This performance shows that Adam Johnson really is the main player for Panathinaikos. However, there was another stand out performance for Panathinaikos. Kostas Katsouranis was a huge part of the teams success as he lead from the back like only a true captain can. He put his body on the line for the team blocking loads of incoming shots and making some vital tackles. For Panathinaikos to excel this season Katsouranis is going to have to play like this game in, game out. And this seems almost certain for a player of Katsouranis ability. AJ Manager 424
Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 176:. - Revolution of the Turks - Mersin Cause Turkish shock! Mersin İY outclassed Fenerbahçe SK and beat them 4 - 3 in a thrilling Division 1 encounter. Moreno scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Wesley and Korkmaz were also amongst the goalscorers. After losing 2-0 at home to Bursaspor in the opening game of the season the new Mersin manager managed to pull his team together and got the performance demanded to better Fenerbahce. Mersin next play away to Galatasaray and hope to cause another shock (or lucky) win! Man of the match for Mersin Dayro Moreno

Biglia scored the only goal for Sivasspor and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Highly dissappointing result against a side we should have beat. Oh well, pleased with the start we have made, 2nd on 7pts behind league leaders Eskisehirspor who are on 9pts. Oh and Biglia is proving to be a great capture and leader. Johnson scored the winner for Panathinaikos and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Adam Johnson scored again, he has been a top signing for us scoring in pretty much every game. And olympiacos drew again so we are opening a gap between ourselves and them. Looking good for us right now as long as Adam Johnson keeps his form up:D

The 1923er's had drawn level against Javor through Slovenian left back Dejan Trajkovski. Manager Ben Kelly spoke to the press after the game: 'Obviously we're disappointed we couldn't win the game but we'll take a point. Maksim was gutted after the match although if you check out his photo on our website he looks anything but!' Kelly also confirmed they were hopeful of signing a full-back in the next 24 hours 'Yes, we're hopeful, he can play left and right back and is one for the future.' nicholasbig96 953
Re: .:The Official Thread Of GC 176:. - Revolution of the Turks - We stopped the two giants in only 2 rounds... Kayserispor got two amazing results against Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in the last two rounds. Here it goes: 1st: Wednesday, August 8 Game at home against Fenerbahce, where we got an amazing result for us (1-1 draw). The goal was scored by the experient Aboutrika, that was later voted MoM. Their goal was scored by dutchman Kuyt. After their result against Fenerbahçe SK, Kayserispor are now unbeaten in 5 games setting a new club record for most games unbeaten in a row. 2nd: Saturday, August 11 Game away against turk giants Galatasaray. I was really hopping for another draw, but a goal from Francisco Silva at 84 minutes got us the 1-0 win. The MoM went again to the Aboutrika. But there were bad news at the end of the match: Unfortunately, Francisco SILVA has been badly injured during the last game. To complicate even more my life, Silva is my 3rd staring XI player that got injured this season and he will be out for 7 weeks . He will make company to Jorge Paulo (86/ 2 weeks) and Victorino (87/ 4 weeks).
