Very rare predictions are even done in game. To be done in order or league is hoping for too much, so I would not bother too much making ratings for every team.

  3. Lamela will not drop to 89. He may drop to 90.
  4. Alex Pritchard will not rise to 85. 83 is much more likely
  5. Christian Eriksen shouldn't rise again this season.
  6. Both Eric Dier and Nabil Bentaleb will probably get 87 instead of 88

Not too sure how Soccerwiki deal with (possible) relegated teams so I didn't want to raise a lot of players to or over the 85 limit for the Championship.

I've probably been quite generous on some players but I think the majority of these will happen at the end of the season and if not, by the mid-season review next season providing players don't have a major dip in form. I've been using Soccerway and this only took me like 1 hour 20 minutes so I'm sure it's not perfect and I've missed some players :)

Hope this helps some people and doesn't just start a lot of angry internet people hurling insults towards each other :P

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions

So I assume D.Costa will get +1 along with Aguero ' date=' Rooney -1 & Ozil -1? I actually don't think Costa or Aguero deserve a +1 more so Aguero for City's failure but both off of a CL exit I feel that 94 is the potentail they both are playing at. Rooney is a must drop right or no? Ozil might be performing better and Arsenal might retain 2nd but surely even that isn't enough to save him oh and possible Fa Cup. He can't be rated same as Hazard (I know he could well rise) but again sgouldn't save him.

One player I need to ask about - Besic +1 and when are Epl ratings due around?[/quote']

Aguero will stay in my opinion as he has been hampered by injuries while Costa I am not sure, he has been very good and is the BPL 2nd highest scorer but you never know with SM but I'd go for a +1

Rooney should never go to 94.

Ozil has caught some form so I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps his rating, its not that he's certain to drop.

Hazard will deffo rise.

It's funny ppl were calling for plus 1 last ratings for Aguero yet he's scored twice as many goals and what 1st top scorer yet City underperforming has put doubts. As i said i don't believe he or Costa should get a +1 but at the same time I can't say if they did i would be surprised one bit. I may be in this category myself but I do feel ppl are being to conservative as EPL ratings especially in the end of season ones have always seen rises for players in the position there in. (I don't mean strikers):P

Exactly, I am a bit careful for calling these higher rises as I myself won't be surprised if Kun did rise but he shouldn't at any cost for me simply because he has been out cause of injuries and City have been way out of the title push. Costa is a 50/50 really and yes that is just guess work on Costa.

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions

Agree with all except Sanchez and Sterling

Sanchez is as good as a player Aguero is if not better so I'd not blink an eye before putting them on same ratings with Hazard being 95

Sterling also has been very good and 91 is almost certain.

No he hasn't. Certainly not 91 level anyway.

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions

Think Sanchez will stay. Costa will stay. Kane 89 this season. Aguero maybe a +1 (been due a while and again not clear cut to get it). Hazard maybe a +1 as well (again doubtful though.) Sterling should no way get 91, nor should Eriksen rise again. The whole Chelsea backline should get +1's imo.

Well he has been running Liverpool's game to an extent but his end product is this bad that his all contribution goes unnoticed' date=' gets 91 for me.[/quote']

Seriously, Raheem is nowhere near deserving of a 91 and I am a massive fan of him. He disappears in a lot of games as well.

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions

Just a few comments:

  1. Danny Rose will probably only rise to 89
  2. Etienne Capoue will probably only drop to 89 too

Most of the things you listed, you confirmed what I said? I listed the most likely outcome first.

For the droppers, Capoue can't even impress in u21 football. 88 is realistic. With Lamela I saw it as 50/50 89/90. Maybe you're right it's 90. Pritchard has been an outstanding performer in the Championship for a side who are battling for the play-offs. 85 is not that OTT. Perhaps it will be in the middle of our opinions at 84.

You gave a range of ratings, I just said that they were over-optimistic or over-pessimistic. That's why I'm debating with you because your most likely outcomes for players like Lamela and Capoue are a bit OTT.

Pritchard won't rise to 85. Look at the Bournemouth players. They've only risen to 84, and by every means they've outperformed Pritchard. Same with Patrick Bamford. He's the Championship Player of the Year. If all these players who've outperformed Pritchard are at 84, he should only get 83.

Lamela has 28 games in the Premier League this season, there is no way they're dropping him to 89. It's not even a 50/50. It's really almost no chance he'll go to 89. I'd be utterly shocked should he drop that far. Etienne Capoue won't drop to 88 either. If you're going by your logic, Falcao will drop to 91/92 then because he can't impress in U21 football. Capoue will probably drop to 89.

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions

Thanks for your thoughts and feedback guys :D

Just wanted to explain my thoughts on a few debateable players;

Sanchez and Giroud's upgrades are predicted based on my prediction that Arsenal will win the FA Cup and finish 2nd. I also think Hazard and Aguero are probably better players but I think Sanchez belongs in the 94 rating 'club'. Will most likely come next season though because 92 to 94 is quite a big jump in 1 season for a team that won't win the title and had a poor Champions League showing.

Completely missed Cahill... I almost forgot Azpilicueta too before realising I had him in one of my teams :o

Might be a bit soon for all of Liverpool's three 90s to get 91s but I think they all deserve it. I guess I was trying to relate them to other 91s which may not be the best of ideas.

Regarding a lot of players in the list, I thought I read that < 90 players get risers based on minutes after last rise? Not that he's been any good but Januzaj has 781 minutes for Man Utd since his last rise. If I'm wrong then fair enough :)

I had to give Kane 90 once I gave Chadli 90 :P

I'd like to give Aguero 95 but I think City's fall and Champions League failures will make it very hard for him. Hazard's 95 is coming, but I'd be very surprised if it was at the end of season.
